Just because u remove the cat in a car doesnt mean that all of a sudden there are no noxious gasses coming out of an exhaust pipe...most people dont do it to add a flaming wank job either. Mine was causing a restriction so i removed the restriction and picked up some free kw.

Everyones "stuff" is the same basic setup which he has bought. Doesnt matter if u do it now or later a pfc plugs in, and intercooler bolts in the same spot, a fuel pump goes in the same spot... All of these parts are the same for any skyline, whether u do it yourself or someone else has has. Buying parts individually is more cost effective. The usual "its worth more as parts than as a whole comes in to play". U do what u want....its your money after all

lowerst part of the car has to be at least 100mm off the ground. Mine hangs in a wierd way as it was designed for a r33, but ive modded it to fit the r32. Mine is basically a twin system cat back which comes back and almost touches the diff where it goes under the subframe. never had a trouble, but if i see those uber large speed humps, or spoon drains i always go sideways through em no probs.

that was my thinking. If there is enough flop (when not running) it would be magnified when underload and at higher rpm. Ive heard it a few times now to warrant the wider spacing.

Yer $4000 is way off. $1600 here in Adelaide for a full bearing and new syncros for every gear. That price includes the $600 in labour to do the whole job.
