  1. i dont see anything wrong with chicks driving skylines, i say the more the merrier! also well done to mizz.33t . i gota say i have let my gf(a while bak now ex ) drive my skyline and i gota love the reaction of the v8 rev heads. very amusing when she rips em apart mwahaha

  6. my standard fuel pump is not holding up to my power levels, so i am lookin for a gtr fuel pump. must be working obviously prefer in vitoria, wil purchase by the end of next week. thanx

  8. the r31 imports are a great car! i myself have a gts 4 door which now has an rb25det in it. when you are lookin at buying one, make sure to check every aspect of the car over, if it has high milage check the turbo, and check that the head isnt gone. it isnt fun when the head goes =[ anyways good luck in finding the car! there are plenty out there you just gota keep a look out
  9. i used to use united premium for a while, it is pretty good but i highly doubt its 98ron, ive started to get on the optimax bandwagon now, it seems ot run alot beta

  12. ok i am looking to upgrade from my stock turbo to a nice new one in a month or so. engine is an rb25det with big front mount and 3 inche exhaust form turbo. i wil be upgrading the fuel system at the same time so no need to mention it what would be the best bolt on turbo or a turbo that wouldnt need too much work to put on? im lookin in the 1.5-2k mark thanx guys
  13. i am having the exact same problem with my skyline atm, its on stock boost and as revs go up the boost goes to nearly 10psi by the time it gets to the redline, just like ottos, otto when you find out what the problem is please tell me what it is as i have checked everything =]

  17. my new front mount intercooler is curently being made, and i am wanting to up the boost when i get it fitted. im wanting to put it to 10psi, what is the easiest way of doing this? i dont want to go any more due to it being a stock turbo. engine is an rb25det in a hr31 gts

  21. ive got an rb25det in my gts, it has the stock bov on it, and a day ago i blocked it off and im geting heaps of flutter on a stock r33 cooler soon to be upgrated to a gtr item. as for car stalling and backfiring. im getting neither. car is running exactly the same, gearchanges are very identicle mayb a slight difference but you dont notice. alot of people say it shortens the life of the turbo. by how much will it shorten it by?
  22. i would sugest u change ur suspension first. then upgrade your brakes. then off u go to get a new engine. yes it might end up costing abit more doing the conversion rather than buyin a car with one already in it, but it all comes down to personal choice. i personaly feel better that i got a rb25det instaled in my car rather than go out and find a aussi model with an rb25det, but anyways good luck with it, just research the prices etc and decide what your going to do
  23. 1. i wouldnt advise using the rb20 radiator as it is pretty small, i would advise going to a wreckers and geting a 3 litre radiator as i have done. 2. the power steering pump wil go on yes, but u will need to put a biger belt most likely. i had to put a new belt on mine due to my car having hicas. the aircon will bolt straight on. 3.you can use your intercooler, but i would sugest trying top source a stock rb25 cooler. 4. the engine wil be a straight bolt in. 5. if you got the stock suspension in your r31 coupe i would sugest upgrading, because the stock setup is utter crap, shop around for a good deal. as for brakes they import brakes r a decent size, i would put on better brake pads. and if you can afford later on try get r32 calipers onto it. or even put slotted/cross drilled discs. 6. yes 7. the diff should habdle the power ok, u would have the r200 diff and they r a bloody good diff!, just hope u got lsd =] hope this all helps
  24. a 1 peice tailshaft set me bak 250 dollars, if u pay more than 300 its a rip off
  25. hey mate, im doing the conevrsion myself to my r31, and im using the rb20det box for now til i can afford a 25 box, as for ur question, yes u wil need a new tailshaft due to the different length of the 25 box, if you have anymore question do not hesitate to pm me or email me on [email protected]
