Ready to purchase, located in Brisbane. Thought I'd see whats available locally before I start the import process off with Iron Chef. Cheers, Hugh.

  8. Hi Everyone, I have a track day coming up at Morgan Park and want to fit an aftermarket oil pressure switch with a warning light incase I see oil pressure drop. I only do one or two track days a year and don't want to fit an extended oil sump with baffle. Does anyone know where I can get a VDO Oil Pressure switch from? I think the product code is 2830993.... rating 15psi - 150psi Thanks.
  9. No, not at all, just a bit down the side of the ps bottle and a little bit on hoses near front turbo. I have a detailed engine bay so I like it spotless but it wasn't much to wipe up.
  10. Basically only about 1cm left in the bottom of the resivoir when I look in it now. Just take a small bottle to top it up to min level when your at the track and use the sock solution.
  11. Yeah I've heard of the old sock solution. Place over bottle and zip tie in place during the track event. Spoke to my mechanic about losing that much PS fluid out of resivoir but he said it won't damage the power steering for short track events as its mostly for overflow. Gets quite hot as well.
  12. Hi everyone, Had my first track day yesterday, lifted the bonnet after 2nd session and noticed smoke rising from turbos, on further inspection it was power steering fluid spilling out from the ps bottle and running over turbos. Has anyone ha the same problem? Seems the cap on the ps bottle doesn't seal very well. Car: 97 R33 GTR. Stock
  13. Hey guys, Looking at get a new exhaust system from turbos back. Does anyone know a good exhaust place in Brisbane to go to? Thanks.
  14. Thanks for your answers. I'll get them to put 26psi in them when they fit them to the rims. And see how they go at 30-31 hot on track.
  15. Hello, Just wondering was psi I should be running in my Toyo R888 tyres on my R33 GTR for an upcoming track day? A guy from a tyre place said around 27psi? I thought it would be more like 34-36? Thanks.
  16. Thanks. Just don't want to run anything too wide, especially for use on track
  17. Hi everyone, I have a set of stock R33 GTR rims that are my track wheels. From the factory they run 245/45/17 tyres. Can I run 255/45/17 on them? Thinking of Toyo R888 tyres. Thanks.
  18. Hello, I am trying to track down a hks sld module for my R33 GTR. Need it for this weekend. Located in Brissy. Thanks.
  19. @eat-me Yeah it still has stock pipes from the turbos down into the standard cat. Do you think the best thing to do is to upgrade the pipes from the turbos and new high flow cat then see how it sounds? what dump pipes are any good? HKS?
  20. The only thing I will be modifying is the exhaust as its currently got a 3 inch cat back system and a Nismo rear muffler. Its an untouched 97 GTR 33, I want to keep it that way, its just the drone on hwy is annoying.
  21. prob is I need a cat to keep it on the road, well legally lol.
  22. Yeah, its mainly the Fwy drone I want to get rid of. I was thinking a HKS Super dragger system. Any advice on what type of Turbo dump pipes?
  23. Engine is completely stock. I just don't want it to drone on the freeway, but still have some loudness about it. budget: Any. was thinking of upgrading the dump pipes, high flow cat then rest of the exhaust. I've heard some GTRs and they sound awesome.
  24. Hi everyone, I want to upgrade the exhaust on my 97 model GTR, currently it only has a 3 inch pipe from CAT back into nismo rear muffler. I find it drones a bit on the freeway which I hate. I want something that doesn't drone but once you hit boost the amazing sound of the RB26DETT comes to life. Any recommendations from Turbo back? Thanks
