You'd probably need 4kms of road to get up to that speed in an N/A Skyline. Did the "race" take what, atleast 15seconds+? They are slow cars, dont be super street racer, there is no point when the old lady in an excel will fly past you

Yeh, was going to say old royal women's car park as well. I park there everyday for uni (RMIT), its also on Cardigan st, 3 blocks up from the other Alvin suggested . takes 5 mins to walk from there to melb central. Its 5 or 6 bucks overnight

ATTENTION ALL ATTENDING THE MOVIE NIGHT: I have discussed with Village about vouchers for entry and in the end we believed it would be too annoying for everyone to present one, so this is how you get the discount: When you go to the booth state "Your with Skylines Australia movie cruise" and it will be $10 per person or $20 per car load, so if its over 2 in a car the max you pay is $20. If you want to get some discounts on food (approx $3, not much) please come find me and I will give you a couple, most combos are $13 with the voucher instead of $16. Also, I have told Village to look out for this car (yes its not glamorous, but it doesn't attract attention) as the starting point of our line as I am not taking the Skyline, so if you see this Charade, please let us go to the front so I can tell them the numbers as they are expecting me to have a final count. MOST IMPORTANTLY As this is a large event and it is Easter, there are a large number of police out in force and 80+ cars traveling to 1 destination is going to attract attention. As you can tell, I have taken precautions by leaving my car at home, but if I see anyone doing stupid things I will be recording their regos and informing the appropriate parties as I know alot of people enjoy these nights and I have spent alot of time organising it. Furthermore, if they are a member of SAU I will be getting their username and discussing the appropriate punishment with the other vic exec's. pj-33,GD2ILA, ed duke +2 and Hopeyz: It SHOULD be fine for you guys to tag along, I cannot call Village to add extras as their management is closed. I have accounted for 80 cars and there is approximately 84 if everyone turns up. GD2ILA - If there are some spare your 4 will receive them, but I have already been to office works and printed out the discounts - I think I have 82... so it will be close, you cant expect a couple hours before its all going to start that you can request an additional 4 vouchers... but dont worry, everyone will get in for $10, the vouchers are just for a couple of bucks off food.. As above, your more then welcome in any car, would be cool to see a real Fast and Furious car but whatever you want to come in is fine.

The only thing I can contribute is that my rb25de box is holding 280rwkw+ just fine... however my car is a GTS4 and I believe there are differences between a normal rb25de box and a gts4 box...

IMPORTANT UPDATE I spoke to Village, due to the end of daylight savings, Coburg apparently show their movies in the winter a little earlier... at 9pm, instead of roughly 9:15-9:30, so F&F5 is on at 9pm I know guys have the premeets on, but aslong as we are leaving the pines car park by 8pm we should get there by 8:20-8:30.

Ok, how about, before I decide to inform police, we go over the rough advantages vs cons adv ----- Could be seen as a mature approach and we tell them anyone acting inappropriately will have their number plate written down, it ends up being a good night and everyone enjoys themselves con ----- If they didn't know the event was on they now would, they could still choose to give out defects the destination - they could choose to place police at the drive-ins dont inform them, get done anyway... what to do? any others?

Dan, I have been thinking about what you said about informing the cops from a couple of days ago. I wanted to weigh the risks and make my own mind up. I do think based on the numbers that me informing police would be beneficial. at first I thought we were just having a big sau crowd which would be easy to control and identify people, but with multiple clubs that I have no information about other then number of members attending, it would seem appropriate I will do this shorty.

NATURALLY ASPIRATED.... in the turbo world, you can buy a t-piece boost controller for $20... take the boost up an extra 5-7psi and get 40kw+ .... most people dont bother doing up small n/a engines because the gains arent worth the $$.... How about dropping a turbo motor in there or adding a turbo to the current motor (assuming ur not on ur p's) and then getting urself an extra 50-60kw+ for 2000

I'd probably guess an overall 20-30rwkw gain... at the end of the day its a 2L motor.... and if you go too big on the exhaust u loose back pressure. loose too much of it and the car becomes even more sluggish in lower revs...
