  1. that sucks man please do come with someone else. be good to catch up.
  2. your only taking out the front shaft. It is located under the car more towards the drivers side next to the gear box area. there are four bolts that attach it to the car, they are in pricks of a position to get off... the thing i do is, move one bolt at a time to the best position possible for you to reach by rolling the car, undo it and take it off, roll your car a little back or forward so the next bolt is in the same position and repeat. when you get good at it, you can have it off in 10-15 mins if that....
  3. thats ok. ok no worries. I spoke to the village guy today and as long as we have the minimum 20 cars we are good, a few more is absolutely fine. so everybody who said they are attending please do!
  4. you cannot just pull out a fuse like in the 32's. this is because their system was electrical and the 33's are hydrological. You can drain the resovior in the boot but the safest thing to do is take out the front drive shaft. BTW, how did you manage a 33 gts4 for 3.5k? is it damaged?
  5. The coburg setup is this: concrete driveway into the place with 2-3 speed humps, they are the low crappy ones, go slow then from what Jess and I remember, they have concrete driveways to the cinema areas. When you get to the cinema area there is a layer of gravel over the lumpy concrete which you use to angle your car at the screen. ok, added Thanks for that. 9. Big thanks to everyone for confirming. Shane, thanks for letting me know now. makes things much easier. Ok, just left a message with the village guy. From what I have counted we have roughly 18 members saying they are coming and 7 members which are maybes. Remember, friends in other cars do count so if there are any extra cars more the merrier just please post up.
  10. danni, we are meeting at the apple peal, check the first page
  11. why no love for the red fox? chrome is shocking for caching by default, find all my client's c drive with about 10gb of crap from google chrome...
  12. that must have taken you a long time if you tried every other website.... also, look + post this sort of stuff here -> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Id...d-Bugs-f14.html
  13. aiming for the 9 - 9:10pm mark
  14. the thing is, the Garrett core in the 3076r is water and oil cooled and comes in ball bearing which is better for response. I dont know where you have heard .63 rears are too small... me,the mafia and simonr32 have all made good power with it, but with great response. lookup the rb25 dyno thread, simonr32 is making like 350rwkw.... we need to know how much power you are looking for and how much lag you are willing to sacrifice for that, that will help determine which rear housing. personally.. because it is only journal bearing so response will be slower, I would go the .70, seems like a good mix between power and response in my mind...
  15. Hey guys, getting down to the last few days before I need to inform village of roughly how many people are coming (19th). If anyone else thinks they may come please let me know earlier rather then later. Thanks
  16. The thing is, you can source 2 water lines from anywhere and hook them up, the system will continue to flow, so not a big deal. I t-pieced off something around the intake plenum, can't remember exactly, possibly one of the lines that run through it to warm it up and the other just went back into the correct spot in the block. oil feed/return are simple, feed is the small one, half way up the block, return is the bigger one at the bottom. Now, for this turbo, I have been told you cannot use stock oil/water lines as they dont flow at the rate this turbo needs + if your going highmount there is no way you can use them to fit with it.... you are going to need speedflow fittings. http://www.speedflow.com.au/ look up if there is a pirtek is near you, they will be able to source everything you need. http://www.pirtek.com.au/ gl with it. Blitz Today?

Also noticed a heap of cops today around the doncaster/templestoe area when I was going to a client - 4 in 15 minutes. I didnt have time to take a snap, but I saw with my own two eyes an undercover brand new xr8 that pulled someone over down the end of springvale road, towards templestoe way.It didnt have any extra aerials and I couldnt even tell until I saw the two tiny red and blue lights flashing.
  18. Great news guys! Just got a call from the manager at Coburg. really nice bloke. Heres the confirmed details: MOVIE IS SHOWING AT 9:30PM ON FRIDAY 23.07.10 so all the movie stuff is sweet..... DISCOUNTS: instead of $17 per person, I said we are expecting roughly 25+ cars based on the amount of interest already, so we are getting it for $10 PER PERSON, which is about a 40% discount off a regular ticket! One thing, he would like me to give him a closer value of numbers on the 19th, so if you are keen and want to come please post up on here before the 19th of July.
  19. This is going to be a good turn out. Shane with your sound system you'll last like what, 2 minutes before your battery is flat? Also I contacted village again as I still have not had a response to confirm the movie details + if we can have a group discount. This time they took my name and number down and said they would get back to me in the next two days...
  20. Awesome mate. all their stations are within the mid 90's so its fine.
  21. Wow, can't believe the amount of interest so quick. this is going to be good! Theres a bloke there that if you need a jump, he comes around for free with his jumper box and everything is good, he'll even give you a small radio too if you need, so don't worry too much... I also have a cheapo little jumper pack ($100 one I bought) which I'll bring, it only helps if u have dropped to about 10v, anything less and you need something with more cranking power. BTW, I have a cheap tiny battery, but it lasts about 2 hours with the sub going, so should be ok....
  22. You know I'm coming!
