  1. if u want the new highway patrol ep pm me and I'll send you the torrent file
  2. Hey guys, My girlfriend wants to make a cake and wants a small skyline model to put on it, anything where she wants to get involved with skylines im happy to accommodate. I searched on ebay, international ebay, google and looked on these forums and nothing was cheap enough/small enough or threads were old etc.. If someone could point me in the right direction of a cheap(under $30) model place or website that would be great. I would like: -White -R33, Gtr or gtst doesn't matter -small... like hot wheels size. Thanks for the help. P.S Sorry if this is a bad section to put this in.
  3. James, go the nismo 555's or the 740's like mine, give you the head room for the future and I got mine cheaper then the 555's...
  4. Is this all day? Also, When I last raced on winton we did 20 min sessions of cars then 20 min sessions of bikes....continuing on all day.... something similar? ooh, do dirt bike (as in off road motorbike) helmets count?
  5. Cheers man, happy to take you for a spin in it whenever you want.
  6. I think there was a thread on it somewhere and the end result was something like not really worth it, strap a big turbo on your car currently and same effect... You know, quite a few GTR's out there change their twin turbos to a big single.....
  7. lol, got a funny story to tell ya next time. I think my tunes giving me issues too, haven't had a full tune yet. I'll get a catch can soon EDIT: AWESOME SHOTS!
  8. Had a great time, really good to have a chance to get to know everyone better. James wanted to hear the screamer.... Do u mean smoke from exhaust or tyres? if from the exhaust I'll have to get a catch can soon. Let me know if you want to do the dash. And good pics
  9. +1. they have never given me any probs..
  10. first of all... 3 cars! wow... yeh sell a few! If you do that same service to an N/A skyline that will be perfect. I dont know about other cars, but in N/A skylines the oil need to be changed every 10,000kms, 5,000 i guess if you want to. Economy... I got about 350-400 kms a tank (65L tank) before the fuel light would come on, in city driving, not flooring it at every set of lights. It sounds like you live further out ie.. 100kms travel min every day... the thing is the falcons have much longer legs, their gears and diff ratios accommodate for cruising on the highway and because of this they rev at roughly 1,800 doing 100km/h.... A skyline, will sit at about 2,800-3,000 at about 100-110, so its almost double the revs for the same speed... for a single turbo skyline (a GTST) you can extract up to around 200kw atw reliably with only a few things probably around (2-4 grand for that depending on what the car already has and if u want good bits or second hand bits, etc) for 250, reliably your probably looking at 5-10 grand, again depending on what parts you want.. brand name good stuff vs second hand vs cheap ebay blowup crap... worry about that when it comes to it...
  11. if your that keen on it mate spend a couple hundred (150-300ish i think) for an inspection. definitely worth every cent and will tell you so much more about the car then you can see.. You know the saying when something seems too good to be true.... 5,000 is too cheap imo and therefore I think hes trying to get rid of it quick.. could have had a accident and he's a mechanic, chuck on a few new parts (ie the front bar, thats not a factory bar and the rest of the car has no body kit... look at the side pic how low it sits compared to the rest of the car) and a cheap spray and the body looks new again.... list goes on for possibilities... so a proper test for the car is worth every bit. Also, why can he not move it? other then rear pads and speedo it should still be able to be started and moved and all that, seems fishyy.... P.S I waited and looked for 14 months at flogged skylines until I found my current car and she has always been reliable and a dream to drive... along the way i spent 600 bux on 3 different skylines to get them checked out and the things that came back from the tests you would never have thought... was well worth it. My point is, waiting for the right one is the best thing to do when looking at these older imported cars. gl.
  12. Hey, not trying to knock your sale, but I think these are series 2 because the inner plastic is chrome instead of black like normal series 1. either way they should still fit and they do look clean as. gl
  13. lol, I know mate, but look in the bottom right hand corner, thats the oil return line Yeh i am pretty damn sure oil return was tapped... ie no bung, sorry thats all i can really remember.
  14. Found another! blury i know.. but this was when I was test fitting the coolant lines. Im leaving this big so u can zoom in. Hope it helps
  15. Hey, this was the best I could do today as I have a heatshield I made to hide the turbo, gate, screamer pipe, etc... and the only way i can get down there is to jack it up and all that... so for now i have the pic below, I know it is not much... Also I will go through some old pics and I might have a few from when i was down there changing turbos.
  16. Hey, just got home, had an insane day of work....like 6 hours more then I planned, really sorry, will try my best to get some done this wkend.
  17. Ok, have done what your asking.... however, I dont think I am going to be the best of help.... I did not know much about my car back when it got turboed, I did some of the stuff myself, but they guys who did the oil feed/return line dont exist anymore. I dont know if they took the engine out or not to tap the lines, however I can say that I dont think they just had a simple bung in and they pulled it out. Ill try to get some pics for you by the end of the day. Also, my return line is not into my sump.. its at the bottom of the block.
  18. Autobarn sell flex pipe like that, bunnings have some variations you could use too......
  19. Is this true? because thats normally my first choice. I have tried a few others ie smurfs blood etc... but the motor seems to like motul. I replace my oil every 3-5,000 depending if i have a bit of spare cash to do it earlier, but it is never later then 5,000 without a doubt. The oil you are saying as a minimum is fairly costly for me to at that rate... Sorry.. not hijacking thread, genuinely interested and don't want anything like whats happend to the op happening to me.. especially with my high comp stock motor. Also.. I always try to stay around the 10-40 range.. never tried 0-40 etc... good? bad?
  20. +1 for eli porter... "im the best mayn"
  21. well then I certainly think you have enough proof to show them, you just gotta hope the manager is reasonable.....
  22. good on ya for keeping your own form of verification against these prics. Sucks you didn't take your own photos too... you would definitely have everything you need then. If i was you I would do the following for now: 1. work out (possibly go to some paint/car care places) and work out how much it is going to cost to fix it. 2. decide whether it is worth perusing, if it is, continue down, otherwise wear the cost. 3. go to see the manager and play your recording to prove your not making it up and say you have already done some research to work out how much they are going to need to pay to fix your car.... show initiative that you are proactive and are really concerned about your car. Also, show that you are willing to go to court as you strongly believe you are not being treated fairly in this situation. 4. they accept and everything goes well... 5. otherwise legal stuff i have no idea on.... gl man.
