  1. man thats cool... given over 40 sets of rims.... wouldnt happen to most people in a lifetime! I'll tell ppl, lotta my mates have falcodores, any of these wheels suit? or camrys? gl with it *Edit* never mind, just read the excel sheet, pretty detailed, should be easy to tell. cheers
  2. Mak performance wheels sold. Stock sets still here, some interest though.
  3. I got exactly what u need, coming to melb any time soon though?
  4. Hey mate, I have some 4 stud stock skyline wheels with legal tread on them that come with some free skids tyres to suit aswell... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/It...59#entry4697259 Im in Melb, Pm me. Adam
  5. at worst, buy both... sell 1... people are always looking for them because they are really good units..
  6. ive driven to uni - rmit as well... its not worth it mate, if ur going to though: budget an extra hour to get there, pay for petrol instead of a zone 1+2 concession daily which is ~$5.50ish? pay for parking... there is some decent parking next door to rmit tafe where if you get there before 10am you get the early bird special = $12 for the day... but there are other shitty places near where they cram as many cars in as possible and take your keys so they can move your car out the way for the next car.... and scrape it in the process and not care about it.. so to deter u more... I have driven in before...because I missed my train and cbf waiting for the next one.... but I did it in my gf's 89 charade... personally I wouldnt take any decent car into the city in peak hour.... to then leave it there all day at a dodgy car park... Adam
  7. I was 400m from my house last night... coming back from drive ins with the gf.... pulled me over...and my gf had to use the girls room pretty bad.... luckily they didnt take too long.... just the regular checking... they pulled me over because 1 of my headlights were out... which I seriously had no idea... must have happend last night... i flicked them from high beam back to low beam and then the one that was off turned on and the other 1 turned off.... my hid balasts were playing on me...... the cops had a chuckle and just said fix it up.... 10 days ago i was coming back from work in the city at about 11:30am.... talking to my dad on a blueant (bluetooth handsfree) which is legal to use while driving... they pulled me over for thinking i was a nutter...... i mean come on... who doesnt know about handsfree?! especially them when they are so ready to give out fines for talking on the mobile.... i was sooo tempted to say yeh theres this new technology going round called hands free..... they were just trying to be ass's werent they? then they asked if the car belonged to me and I lived at the address thats on my license...... in the end nothing happend and I want my 15 mins of life back they wasted....
  8. I'm so sorry to hear about your dilemma, what a horrible situation to be in... too many skylines....as a solution I would be happy to take one off your hands but in all seriousness... sell the stock one, keep the other 2 and use the money from one to make garage larger = prob solved
  9. Just thought that I should say that I have been in both worlds, n/a for close to a year, turboed for now about 2 all on my p's, even with the vic road laws. Got the car 2 days before my 18th bday with my own cash.... probably Best feeling you could have, saving up for years and waiting then getting a skyline.... REGARDLESS of n/a or turboed first off, i got 350-400kms from a tank when the car was n/a... When I first turboed the car with all stock parts, including stock turbo, I was getting a min of 500kms to the tank.... so that theory of using more petrol is only true if ur right foot gets heavier... secondly, my car came with only a catback exhaust and I put a pod on it... for the first year. It beat my mates ef falcon stock quite easily, not very surprsing, but after he got a full exhuast - extractors to tip, he beat me, not by much, but he did.... (this was all tested on my mates farm with a looong driveway) I know gts4s are a little heavier then gts's but I would like to see an n/a skyline keep up with a late commodore.... around the same age, vn,vs,maybe vt I could understand, but when you get newer with better technology u do find the commodores go up quite a bit in power - stock. also, even though I have had a few issues with turboing the car - ie. upgrades and support mods, it is now fine and even though it has cost me, everytime that psi hits you and you get pulled into your seat, u really can appreaciate a modified turbo skyline and puts a big grin on your face. lets face it, alot of people on here like the torque, and as we have relatively small displacment motors by comparrison to commodores etc.... turboing is the best way to get that feeling.... finally, regardless of car I laugh at possers, whether its another 33 gts that rocks up next to me with a big fibreglass kit and a gtr badge or a mr lancer pretending to be an evo 6, to call n/a drivers possers is unfair, its what you do with the car and the way you drive that represents yourself. 10. I didnt have time to take a snap of a 93 mitsubishi magna that looked like it had been sponsered by every piece of plastic crap super cheap had to offer... basiclly it looked like the car out of mighty mods season finale.... wing, stripes, "racing window wipers", 17 inch bob jane specials, blue license plate lights, tinted tail lights....etc.... he thought he was the shiit... snapped this up though, an aspiring Learner driver (subtle but its there in the bottom right side of the rear window), including exhaust tip, southern cross, crap paint job, tinted tail lights, etc.... but it was on a NICE Chev Ute, so he must have something fierce under the hoood....so its ok..... ohh and theres a little logo above the chev badge..... none other then blue's pub....
  11. Thats 147kw at the fly mate, == something like 100rwkw. u'd get 150rwkw using stock turbo parts. be pretty responsive, as covered before ud need more then turbo and piping, but yeh a smic would do the job, wouldnt need a larger fmic unless u up the boost...
  12. in regards to ur question about turboing using an n/a ecu, Personally as I have already done this, I didnt want to risk it, but if you dont want to run boost for a short time and just want to get it somewhere ie from mechanic to home/etc.... you could disconect the actuator... u wont be making boost then... i had to do that once..... didnt go over 3000 rpm for 32kms home ....had to do 80km/h home on the 100km/h freeway but I got home and car was fine......
  13. U know, there is a for sale section and people are willing to post/ship stuff, search through there..... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...-Parts-f12.html
  14. Yeh i clocked it last night instead of playing in the sau games night my bad... bit upset ive finished it now, thought it would take longer then 10 days... and yeh the bloob thing - i think u mean the one where green popped out of it after u defeated it, was a little harder, but not by much, most of those enemies could be defeated pretty easily with the extended whipfist- i loved using that to grab onto helis. upgrades were fairly easy to get, finding the hints or killing a hive etc, made it pretty easy to gain pts. interms of repitiveness, nah i dont think it was too bad, u had to do some similar things in missions, but was still pretty good.
  15. My god, IMO, 1 of the best games I have played in years! Gory, graphic, blood splattering sounds, you can be as brutal as your want, can attack in the middle of the street and fight every1 or drag people off into alleys and kill/consume them. look it up in youtube, I would post a link but I can't get onto youtube from work. Basiclly, your a bloke that is infected with a virus and you are a shape shifter, your body can change into a number of weapons such as Blades, whips, massive solid fists for breaking shit, full body armour, parshall body armour,... it goes on... you also can morph into people you consume to get away from people or enter army bases as a comander. You also can sabotage and take and fly/drive their helicopters and tanks.... DID i mention you also can glide sorta like spider man... and jump over buildings...great fun! Also, very impressive graphics... you complete missions and as the game goes on the island (Manhattan) gets more and more infected with people as the virus spreads.. you can consume(to gain health) anything living or moving - so humans, infected humans, army guys, monsters, you name it, Ive been on it almost every night until about 2am... absolutely loving the game, highly reccommended. Adam
  16. ohh I might give this a go tonight if im not out.
  17. You selling mate? new job? what was the go with the army? Hope your doing well, Btw, finally got myself a nice set of Meisters, sold your old rims the other day, they served me well.
  18. Wheres the mods galore? a fmic and boost controller with a little sound system is nothing.
  19. Well said mate, I know what you mean, same feeling I get driving my 33, sure the BA's and HSV's might sound gruntier and are 10 years newer, but they still can't beat or handle like these skylines I've done a few of those sorta drives... GOR, Black spur, driving to Winton few times...... and I tell you what, those drives were so enjoyable, actually made you want the destination to be further so you can keep having fun and enjoy your machine responsibly. I know this as I can compare it to when my gf and I went to see part of her family in Merimbulla, and I was halfway through putting in a new turbo, so we had to take her '89 1.3ltr Charade.... WORST ....DRIVE .....EVER.... others went in vt commo's and XR6's and made it there in about 7 hours, we took 9 and a bit! Not to mention no power to overtake big trucks, unfomy seats that sit u up like on a plane, small interior.... and 2 bloody tanks of petrol because it sits on 4gs doing 100.... the commos made it there and back on 1 full tank. So yes, really easy to appreicate these ol' gals. Adam
  20. I feel sorry for u...... mashed the keyboard a little bit when choosing a username did we?

  22. I have these, on ebay until tommorow night, pretty light and are good for track work. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/It...59#entry4697259 Adam
  23. I have one, the 33 GTS4's always have a constant 5%ish worth of power going to the front, then if the sensors note that there is wheel spin or the g forces are extreme, ie going around a corner real quick. it will send the appropriate amount of power to the front to regain traction. the torque controllers dont stop the power to the front (unless its a 32 with the fuse system) all you can do is choose to have it at 0 = 5% front or 1-10 or whatever it is = 50/50% thats all... that being said, they are VERY handy in the wet when you have some power in the wheels and need to control it. All the controller does is tricks the attesa system that the car is slipping and how high u turn the dial is how much the controller bullsh*ts you are loosing traction. The steering wheel goes tight when u turn it up and with some good rubber on the wheels you really notice a good difference. Adam
