alright, took some shots. not the prettiest thing in the world, but she works well. definitely alleviated a lot of tension across the pipe. im pretty sure it was a radiator hose bleeder or something, because I had to buy that gold blocking screw. was like 30 bucks all up and works fine. you can see in this pic, this is how it used to look (im pulling on the hose) Adam P.S u can leave the screw out and it gives it a lil bit more of a whistle, but im not into that sorta thing

nice list, i have always liked their gt-k series with the black front housing. but 1 thing im wondering... why choose a turbo that needs an external gate for now? if your aiming for 200-300rwkw, you could do that easily without an external gate... how much psi u hoping to put in?

i thought that was normal? i swear there are some threads around about that and it turned out fine... my gtr bov is alot softer then my gtst one, but it does the job better so I assume its fine...

hey ash, long time no speak... i changed my gtst bov to a gtr one and also got that exact same issue! but i got rid of it.. i dont know if its the same for u, but the pipe i got to suit wasn't exactly perfect and I had a guess that the sound was of some air in the pipe as it was expanding or contracting... anyway, got a hose joiner to try to keep it more solid, and worked fine, not an issue any more! can send u some pics if u want Adam

190 stock everything? 33 standard gtst's had about 150-160rwkw stock..... u must have had a boost controller and other stuff... exhaust? I see piping for a fmic and a boost controller/boost gauge in your first engine pic... wots the turbo?

ahh no worries, well for the record I run a standard gtr one and it does fine and u ask why people don't get pulled over? luck of the draw i guess....

im in melb, so the laws are pretty tuff here. I dont think you get what I meant about its an N/A with a turbo... the cops do know there is a turbo in my engine bay(and the front mount intercooler is a giveaway too), but what they dont pick is the fact I have moddified an n/a motor to have a turbo, they just think the car came stock that way, so I dont get done for adding a turbo to the car without and engineer's certificate etc etc... then, when they try to get the factory weight of the car they cant, because there isnt much info on them around, so on paper the power to weight ratio is fine, but in reality its far from it. but probably the most important thing is I dont do dumb crap.

ur right, factory they are N/A, .... but read my sig,so far no cop has picked they come factory n/a and that i have turboed it...as opose to factory turboed

lol, my 33 gts4 is heavier then other skylines under the old laws... and they dont have the specs/nor can find them, so I dont have any issues, but in 3 months that wont matter!

mine went at about 180rwkw... got an exedy cushion button from slide, 300 bucks for the install, couldnt be happier... so far she hasent slipped yet.. very comfy, if you are looking for clutches atm

how can u see it slip other than loss of power (ie the graph pointing downwards) because power is not being delivered from the engine to the wheels properly? so how do u get a power reading of 240rwkw? stilll though, good work on the result. Adam

i had a little geeky lol, im doing a paper on quantum computing atm in regards to the topic, im on the fence. On one hand we have a bloke with our logo on his car caught by a cop on tv- regardless if its an unpaid parking fine, its still going to look bad against the club, as people see a cop, a wheel lock, and a skyline with a SAU sticker - given i had to watch twice to catch it because i thought it was pretty bloody small... but he may have just been watching and at the wrong place at the wrong time and now he may loose membership to SAU, before theres an explanation Im not going to judge.... is there no chance he was coming home from one of the factories in the area and got caught ?? im probably just being naive... but theres always 2 sides to a story...

bad luck mate, that sux hope u can get it fixed without too many hassles.. can I just ask, as Im looking at possibilities of forging my own engine... what makes a recently rebuilt motor with stronger internals sh*t itself and not even reach 10,000kms? I thought they would last after being forgedt? gl with it mate.
