  1. ahh yeh... I remember these..... made by blitz on ebay? mines identical to this... actually are a good fit, but not as strong as you would like... gl with it.
  2. hey mate, how many kms usage out of it? also... location? thanks. Adam
  3. heard it before, makes me laugh everytime. but still.. she shouldnt have done that crap to the guy... I would have hung up on her a long time ago... no tickets, but least my ass would have been safe
  4. Hey lucky for all of us with an addiction....ne1 seen petrol prices tonight?!?! $1.24 for standard unleaded! I was rubbing my eyes going nar that says $1.54... im just tired... but no! made me smile all the way home, considering we were thinking of going to $2 in a month about 12-16 weeks ago.
  5. Hey steph, oil filter is a z145a or ROF-96..depending on brand... but either of those two are fine. I have an NGK spark plug in front of me... it says on it : BCP7E S Cant remember what I used for oil before I turboed the car, soz. Also... I actually have a proper Nissan skyline 33 gts, gtst, gtr engine manuel if you need... but its a big download.... a 127mb pdf....
  6. Im not arguing with you the math of a FULL system, I know theres a big difference... but as if you have a 3inch system with a 2inch tip... unless you welded it together yourself you couldnt buy it like that.
  7. its not even weekly mate, its daily... this thread was started 2 days ago ->http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sk...is-t243180.html Now Mr ganbanga.... follow this link... all you need to know... FLUTTERZ BIBLE Must be school holidays....
  8. I say stop bragging about all those awsome parts! hehe to answer your question I havent heard of someone doing it... but it would go bloody well! one other thing, when modifying, sure it is a good idea to try to choose mods that wont decrease in value as quickly, or that you can get the most use out of, but dont mod for the sake of it unless your going to use it IMO. definetly a cool idea you have, but dont go through with all the work just to try to make your car worth more, enjoy it instead!
  9. interesting thread. I have 2 WTF were Nissan thinkings: Year:1994 Model:R33 GTS4 with RB25DE+T Trans:Manuel Fault/cons:1. Battery in boot 2. Oil filter stock location Other comments: 1. I believe it was because of balancing weight... but the battery is in the boot on a platform ontop of where the fuel tank is behind a plastic wall... in my case its got a carpetted wooden wall holding the amps on it... so it is such a b*tch to change the fuel pump or battery. 2. I dunno? trying to make it bloody hard to reach I guess Finally... I hate the fact that every crapbox/commonwhore has to try to drag us, also the fact that we are cop meat... I want a switch to change my car to a charade!
  10. haha... well said Chris.... and Mitchy.... I am glad you found my post that amusing that you rolled on the floor laughing outloud while reading it... please put a youtube vid up to show you did it or dont comment saying that crap. god knows where you pulled the cross sectional values anyway..you went from 12.7cm to 126.67cm how? regardless, if you really believe a twin TIP (NOT the whole system) is going to make that much difference please show me comparission dyno threads. but from what my mates and I have tested... a single big TIP or two tips each half the size of the big one is not going to make the slightest difference for a road car. and because Chris seems to be the guy to quote off it seems appropraite that I repeat his words so that you may understand. "Twin or not. There is no difference. I dont care. There just isn't. Its too late in the exhaust system. The gass is being pushed out, the tips are ALWAYS bigger than the rest of the system etc. etc. etc."
  11. can all be fixed with some cabry cleaner, screw driver and a rag. I had this issue to... first off... idle should be around 750-850. at the back of the plenum ( the big silver thing on the drivers side of the motor) there is the aac valve. it is the little valve that allows a small amount of air to be sucked into your engine while your idle ( or else your motor would constantly splutter and stall at the lights) on the side of it there is a phillips head screw... turn it a few times one way, notice if your revs are going up or down, or not doing anything. adjust it until your hearts desire. if this doesnt fix it the next option is to take it off and give it a clean. as it is at the back of the plenum it gets a charcol carbon build up over many years making it dirty and unable to suck in the correct amount of air on idle as it used to. disconnect all the hoses and unscrew the 3 bolts and be careful not to damage the gasket.... then remove. for more details on how to take it off and clean... look here -> Aac valve cleaning one more thing... clean it with carby cleaner... stronger then degs, work much better for this stuff... Hope this helps. Adam
  12. could have just asked the question in here.... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Tw...le-t242824.html (where you got that quote from) anyway... its n/a power I am assuming you are talking about? not going to be a single difference... maybe max 1kw/2kw depending on overall setup, but if you have a good system (manifold to back of car) it doesnt matter what the tip is going to be... but for argument sake lets look at the math of it.... if you have twin exhausts, each coming out to 2 2.5inch tips = 2*2.5 = 5 inchs of good 'ol super cheap auto chromey tip or if you want a cannon that has a single big 5 inch tip = 1*5 = 5 inchs of good 'ol super cheap auto chomey tip see what I mean... its not really going to make any difference.... get a 500kw dyno monster that needs all the flow it can get and then yes... different setups will impact on the cars performance. Adam

I need mine done too... where at mate? and whats the contact number? Cheers
  14. hey guys, it was hard finding a pipe to suit well, especially because I did take into consideration stuff like driving when raining and the high pressure hose.... to overcome any water getting up there I adjusted the angle of the piping slightly, just so it faces downward a tad more... that way when any water decides to go up it, it runs back down. ... I also dont shove a hose up there ! I don't know exactly how it would work with other cars.... am always happy to offer ideas if u send me some pics of the engine bay, but I have only done it to my car theres no reason it couldnt work though, because you customise the piping or the location of the hole(if neccesary) to under your pod. Regards, Adam
  15. hey bud... u say its been having probs only after you put on the boost controller... are you sure its running 10psi? had it on a dyno? have u got a guage to tell you roughly how much boost? what sort of boost controller? electronic or bleed valve?... u never know properly unless you dyno the car with those little aluminium key adjusting valves.
  16. bugger, please post up the price u paid(if you dont mind) once you do fix it thanks!
  17. yeh, u can buy all bits and pieces off nissan.. but they will all be brand new and cost an arm and a leg for anything... so try to avoid it if possible.
  18. that sucks man... look for wreckers??? whats it made out of any way? I have sunroof as well and mine looks in need of some sprucing too...
  19. hey man... dont feel too bad... not like we have oodles of space.... I dont own a boot... that goes all for my sound system stuff... so my back seat is my boot so im the same as you.
  20. this isn't a fool proof method, but my heatsheild has been fine with about 5 different cops.... much more solid then any metal one because they can't cut thick metal ones with tins snips... so most have to go with a flimsy metal... I can bash the top of mine without any issues... Heatsheild and if you actually want to get a little bit of extra performance with the setup... CAI In the end... if turning morons heads with hektik flutters is what you like, its your choice, but don't be upset when the popo wanna have a good look to. these mods I have done to my car actually increase performance, I was not concerned how loud the cars whistles would be. Adam
  21. sorry lost me a little bit jonny... are you saying I should sell the car then get a gtst and drop a 10k forged engine into it??? btw... before you next post somewhere... thought it was pretty cool your post count is 666 and the chik in ur profile looks a lil devilish and police... u and the real cops both dont like my garnish... one time a cop picked me up and said it looked gay.... cumming from a balld man with no facial hair... I duno... I think he was more pissed he couldnt prove my car was overpowered cuz its a gts4 and they dont have the specs for my car.. also.. i thought about different colours... but then I didnt want the car to look play-fun-house sorta rainbow... so stuck with blue!
  22. look, im not saying no to either of the 2 ideas... but Jonny I did some thinking... what do you think is better? just to give you an idea what is going through my mind and why I am so confused. I could get a gtr engine, attempt to get engineers paperwork, etc... chuck on some gtss's get a real responsive 300-330kw and the motor still looks stock so popo arent going to be too bad.... Or... (this is why I now am confused) forge my engine, strap on a trust td06 and fang hard... its a hard decision because I went in sam's (dr.drift) new 32 gtst 4door he's got with the main mod being a copy td06 at 260rwkw and 16ish psi... it absolutely fanged... was fantastic to drive and left tracks in every gear... and sam said his mate has a 350ish kw gtr and recons this thing would beat it up to about 120km/h. but its got an external gate and is completly illegal.. the popo would bend me over... thats more what i am concerned about as well... now what you think?? BTW>>> Awsum to hear about my power being the most outa these
  23. mmm.. thats right chris.... we gts4 people think alike ... thats what I want.. even more unique yeh the 4wd torque controller helps a fair bit in the wet.... I got it when the car was non turbo.... did not make a single difference but now with some power it is helpful. the controller is called xtreme troque split controller or xtsc or something like that. I can get the name for you when I get home if you are interested... they are about 200-250ish off ebay... four wires soldiered into your 4wd computer under your centre console and your done! whats great about it is if you have a 32 there is a switch on it that can be soldiered into your 4wd computer that at the flick of a switch you have 2/4wd cuz mines 33 and our 4wd system is electronic like yours with fuses, I still have to take out the front drive shaft on the dyno still asking... any 33 gts4 with more power then me?! otherwise I want to put in fastest 33 gts4 into my sig :D :D
  24. thanks mate, yeh I am hoping for the 26 but stilll iffy... I have the same options I did when I first turboed the car. 1. sell car, buy gtr 2. swap engine 3. do up this engine even more and forge... which I am tempted to do because I know mine is a good engine must look into it more! Cheers
  25. Hey guys, I don't personally know anyone else out there who owns a 33 gts4,have spoken to a few people quickly, but thought this might be a good place to introduce yourself and see who else owns this rarer type of skyline. Also.. just for the fun of it... wanted to know if anyone has a more powerful 33 gts4 then mine i'll start... Car + engine: 33 GTS4 s1 with an rb25de+T Mods: Hypergear tr43, nismo 740cc injectors, z32, walbro fuel pump, powerfc + commander, see signature for rest Power: Currently at 230rwkw... soon at 250-260. Comments: in the next year or so plan to drop in a GTR engine with GTSS's attached and have some real fun Pics: Thanks guys Adam
