  1. Hey Rianto, Just wanted to say thanks for organising the group buy. I got my rotors today! look awsum.. I want to chuck them on tommorow... but need to get some new pads... I hope these slotted get rid of my horrible squeal!! just outta curiosity... could you give me a pm for the pads aswell... otherwise.. i am a poor bastard being a uni student and all.. which one would you advise out of these... bendix general, ultimate, qfm premium... or any other ones you can get around the auto stores... Im pretty sure they are all rubbish...just want to know if any are slightly better to go with these slotted rotors.. oh and one more thing.. to clean off the oil on the new rotors... degs??   2. hey mate, I don't know what car you have, but I have a powerfc + commander (which shows rpm), an aftermarket specko meter tacho and obveously the tacho in my standard cluster.... all working fine.... dont see why you should have any problems.. IMO.. look for a powerfc that wont stuff up anything else. adam
  3. hey ryan, been a while, how you been going ? those two bolts that hold the caliper to the front arm and are behind the rotor are 19mm, or they are on mine at least get a breaker bar .... Adam
  4. hmmm... that is a hard one, cuz I have a tr43 aswell... my mods are similar to yours, but with a pfc... my injectors and z32 are going in the car as we speak so it has been estimated with those bits and pieces going in and about 15psi that the car would be roughly around the 250kw mark...give or take.. at the moment, the afm and injectors are at 110% and 100% and the max I power I got with them was about 204kw..at 11-12psi..... so if its had a good tune,etc. etc.. it could be at 265kw... considering a tr43 will handle roughly 400hp..   5. faces of death would have to be the most stuffed up crap ive ever seen.... for anyone who does not know, it is clips of REAL videos of executions, car/transport accidents, fights, stabbings, people being run over, people being decapotated, anything you can think of... basiclly, its the stuff you would see on the news after a carload of teens hit a truck at full speed... except they show EVERYTHING... brains exposed and all... it is hard to sit through at first... movies wise... everything so far that people have said are scary movies... but none freak me out like 28 DAYS/WEEKS LATER.... mainly because it seems so real, just that something could spread that easy and people could become blood thursty freaks... that may just be me though ....   7. Adriano if you are talking to me I already have a pod and apexi power intake... I want the sound as loud as the gtst was on mine... but with a bigger turbo now running about 12-14psi and in my next tune I may be going higher and power levels will be roughly 250rwkw... didn't know if the gtst one would take it so I put on a gtr one...

  10. Hey guys, I don't want to steal this thread but I also don't want to make another topic ...so please forgive my questions nimmo and i'll try to keep it short... 1. How much boost or rwkw can a gtst bov take? 2.I changed my gtst bov to a gtr as I have a bigger turbo... but I want a little more noise (not huge) because I can barely hear the gtr one... anyway to get it abit louder without going atmo? Thanks!
  11. Awsome stuff mate, and impressive times... more so the fact that you self tuned it so well on a pfc considering that they were compiled in 8 bit... must have taken you some time to perfect that tune. adam

  14. Hey guys, justa quick question...how can you remove the a pillar plastic on the drivers side? I have a tacho and boost controller there,but for a long while I let the boost controller sit there with the vacum line exposed going into the dash. now I have drilled a nice size hole for it to go into but it just doesnt want to go in... so I want to take it off instead.. but i cant! its soo tight. I was very dissapointed in mine, going from a gutted cat to this, because I have a white car and the carbon monoxide that normally gets filtered by the cat was turning my rear bar yellow that I had to keep cleaning off... I used it for 20 mins, car was jerky and laggy, now have it sitting in my room... Im going to spend the cash and get a proper high flow metal cat....

  18. I was as surprised as you guys are about this autobarn guy... but apparently he owned one.. I asked him are you sure it didn't have a conversion and he said no.... but I have never heard or seen of one... so maybe he was crapping on... even on those spec sites it includes r33 gts4s... but never seen turbo versions.... if you said your gtt has been modified for a gt4 and they didn't believe you, wouldnt you need a engineers certifcate to show its all been done and been done correctly... and they could ask you to go to a weigh station? interms of checking vins... even on my rego sticker it doesn't say gts4 because justcar didn't have them on their systems....   19. Mate I have nightmares about the TMU.... I am so sh*t scared... I could not afford all the issues... Yeh we argued for a while..... cuz on his little shitty specs sheet of cars he likes to pick up it didn't have a GTS4... and up until recently I never thought there existed a standard R33 GTS4 turbo model.... but then I was at autobarn the other day and started talking to one of the guys.... turns out when he used to live in NZ he owned one....never ever seen one here... so he didn't know what to do... so I told him, why don't you take the power from a standard gtst and use the weight of a gtr.... he didn't even know how to do the equation! so i did that for him aswell! turns out according to those numbers the car was legal ( i know it was bs...) he took down my details and said he would call me if he went back to the station and looked up the specs of my car and saw that I was lying.... I told him its a really rare skyline and you wont find the details...... I never heard back from him :D:D:D:D

  21. I had to customise My original air box to fit back in.... I made it look like it was meant to be that way....hacksawed it up, then black electrical tape where is had cut and a quick spray of black paint If you have the standard filter in it like mine did.... don't flog it, car feels like its chooking and will be jerky... or you could just buy a better panel filter... but I cbf wasting the money for a drive down to the mechanics. I know of an awsum place in Dandenong that told me all was good except for my hid kit... instead of making me pay again and have to come back, they said that I could work on it there, offered me standard bulbs if I needed and said that aslong as they see it leave with standard bulbs then it is fine...they also didnt say anything about my bigger turbo or bleed valve

  23. yeh I got this too, pretty easy fix... I think it is said somewhere that you can have either a pod OR a fmic... so in basic terms... you can only have one induction mod.... which in this case is obveously going to be the fmic, so just make the pod back to a standard skyline air intake and you'll be sweet... I got similar shtuff to you... the bs was though, he said he cbf measuring the height of my ride... he just put it down... even when I told him it was fine and to measure it.... prix... Adam
  24. happend to me at shell on corner of springvale and whitehorse road.. cop came in, watching me fill up and go and pay... then tried to give me a fine cuz my car was too high powered for a P plater.... I got out of it cuz mines heavier ... GTS4 ftw!!!
  25. yeh, dr drift does them. but a few things to consider before you spend money on it: 1. based on my previous experience at Winton when my car was non turbo... there wasent a big enough straight to even get up to 180 in an N/A....don't know if your going there or not 2. I would assume there is a reason they are limited... ie, you could stuff your crank/engine/gbox, in the same way they are rev limited...so your pistons don't bounce out of the block... 3. are you going to spend the money on the supporting mods to allow your car to do that speed as safely as you can be at 180km... ie, suspension, brakes? because if you have more braking power you can go faster for longer...
