well guys im looking for a flat boot lid for my r33 i have seen then on carmate for $500 i havnt had much to do with them are they ok or what? and from the advertising i have seen vivagarage do a flat boot lid they advertise it on this forum in the traders section but in the topic a person asked for a for a price to deliver to where ever and they guy from vivagarage told him they dont do flat boot lids for r33s yet??? whats the go they advertise they do and say that they dnt? do any of you guys know where i can get a flat fiberglass boot lid for my r33 2door series 1 thanks

yeh mate i got a set of genuine ones on my r33 i bought them of a guy on the forums for $300 and they fit perfectly and in my opinion look awsome as. it wnt show the picture i attached sorry guys they do look really good anyways

hey guys im also looking at spool rods and cp pistons i know the cp pistons are awsome gear but i have be told the the spool rods need to be slightly (modified) machined or reshaped slightly to suit the bearings or journals properly, is this true or just BS only reason i am asking is that a well known engine builder on sau has told me of this so i dnt think he would lie but what are your thoughts on this one guys?

well mate im no engine builder or tuner but if your knock sensors wernt working how could they tell if its wasnt nocking any more after they turned the boost down just cos u cant hear it dnt mean it aint knocking, and also maby the machine work was not accurate enough maby the piston to bore clearance was to big ect

im pretty shore you will want a panel beatter to remove dints becasue ur painting the car BLACK the car has to be straight as not one imperfection, also removing the motor isnt all that hard if you have a mechanicle mind and you have a few tools a few mates to help you out, also with the paint you want to get a 2 pac paint, BMW black its the nicest black out there and the way you get it to shine really well is to put a few coats of clear over it that how you get the gloss

hey mate i know this may sound way off track but it may help, u say its higher up in the rpm coul dit possibly be the vct on the rb25 not switching over to give it more or less timing ect? im dnt no a great deal about this stuff but am slowly learning and thought that this may be your problem. hope it helps

hey guys i haver just bought a set of ganador mirrirs from some one on the forums and i need to know how to remove the lense with out braking it, and also how easy is it to replace the motor for the mirror as mine does not work on the drivers side and the stock ones did can i replace it with the stock unit.???
