  1. R34NRG - do you think i should plug it up then? or have something to drip it into, cause i really need my car to get to work tmoz (only about 5km) and i really dont want to take everything apart again
  2. Yeah cool, worst comes to worst do you think it would be ok to put the new pipe on and block the venting hole up for a week until i can get a catch can or an inlet welded? i plan to do another oil change in 1000-2000kms anyways
  3. I'm not sure what you mean BAMR33, i wont need an inlet for my bov, only the other inlet which cosworth said was to vent the crank case Can i the crank case vent be tee'd up to an oil catch can? because that might be an easier option rather than getting a inlet welded it
  4. oh so venting the crank case means actually having that pipe tee'd into the intake pipe, im with ya
  5. soz for the stupid question but what does that mean lol? is the crank case the pipe that goes over the rocker cover? so i just take the pipe off and leave it open(the one goin to the intake)? is it generally the thing to do? any down sides etc? When i say i run no bov i mean the bov is blanked off (flutter etc)
  6. Hey guys, Just bought an intake pipe off a bloke on here and it has no entry for the bov (which is fine becuz i run no bov) but i realised there is another feed that goes intake the stock intake pipe which appears to be for oil? (i really am unsure of what its for), the intake pipe i bought also doesn't have the entry for it, just wondering whether i should get a hole welded in or whether i can just bloke that pipe up? pretty keen on an answer tonight so i'll know whether to put it all back together for work tomorrow, i've attached pics Thanks in advance for any help
  7. Hmm, the stock solenoid still has some tubing come off it.. is it blocked off? it looks like out of the two hoses on the solenoid you hooked the wrong one up, if anyone else can confirm this, hard to tell from pics
  8. how well do they work mate? i.e do they tell you like 200m away there is a radar ahead? or only when you're pretty much on it? and dont you have to sit them on the dash or something? making them real obvious? Cheers mate
  9. Did you try to turn it up before you crashed it? i.e were you ever able to boost it higher? just sounds like it isnt hooked up properly, when its running 7psi does it still have the dual boost? (5psi to 4,500rpm and then 7psi after)
  10. They're still for sale at that price, i have one and love it, boost snaps on so quick IMO, you shouldn't need to lower boost ever, if you bought a skyline to save fuel, i know smarter people in pre-school, but if it's really necessary just loosen your foot, drive off boost as much as you can, its not hard.
  11. Are you sure about these entrapment laws, because America has them, but everyone i have spoken to says they don't exist in Australia, and theres' been numerous people race cops and get booked, and they had to take it on the chin..
  12. as far as i know there's no law of entrapment in Australia, so they can rev ya, drop a skid, get sideways, and then book you if you race them.. as for being pulled over by a skyline... that sounds strange..
  13. I think it was fair but one-sided, i mean if they got someone with half a clue on there to express their views about the possibility of more tracks and that sort of thing it would've been better, not some half-stoned bogan in a bommodore
  14. If he doesn't need the RWC, but would prefer one, and your going to get a dodgey one.. what is the point in getting one at all LOL It's not that hard to get one though, just find a dodgey looking place and tell them you want to transfer the car from your dads name to yours asap, works a treat

  17. the rims came with tyres on them so you couldn't see the buckle ;[
  18. Hey guys, Bought a set of rims not too long ago second hand very cheap with the understanding one of the rims needed repairing because it had severe gutter rash and a small buckle, so i had that one fixed ($120) and now have gotten round to removing the tyres off the other rims only to find another rim has a smaller buckle, i'm just wondering whether this will affect the handling etc of my car once the tyres on it and whether it's dangerous, i will get it repaired if necessary but just wondering if anyone can shed any light on the situation, i've attached pics Cheers
  19. I don't really see what the argument is about guys, who cares when they said it, or how educated/uneducated they were at the time, what they are saying is hilarious and in no way relevant to drifting, dean_HR31 just posted it up for a laugh anyone with half a clue can see that and then you guys try and put a jihad on him lol, seriously.. chill
  20. Will these be a good upgrade for my R33 GTST? ...kidding GL with the sale mate
