  1. hmmmm......guess that puts VIC infront in the KW's for the NM35. So what am I chasing 211AWKW's on 98?.....only 9AWKW's to go! Might have to do something about that! We should set up a Dyno shootout between the 2 states.....in Albury or Wodonga? Wonder what mine will do on a dyno with some Sunoco.....think we might have some laying around somewhere. In all seriousness.....well done Scott......we just need to get SAS into gear now aye! ....starting to catch the tractor motors now aye!!!
  2. thanks for the heads up Graham
  3. MATE! Whats your problem!!!....do you have a problem...me think's so.......I had a simple request your simple mind could not decipher! I don't use PC(because I hate Microsoft OS's)....therefore I cannot use FAST. And no I don't no my VIN# off the top of my head.....maybe I should....hey look if it really makes you happy I'll get it tattooed onto my arm. P.S. sorry....i'll stop the highjack now!
  4. can you get me a pic of the front wheel barring assembly? Just use your Vin otherwise I have to get off my lazy arse and go downstairs to the car park!!! Andy tried but his is F$#king useless
  5. Mate I don't own it.....sort of......Dad has the title atm....sort of......but if he met with a sudden accident ....lol......I just get to look after, work on and race the toy's with him.....sort of a father son thing(yes we are both absolute car nuts). This year though it looks like I will be racing the DR30 for an investor....still pinching myself on that one. The price of the GIO car was about half way to a 7 figure digit with a brand new crate motor and crate gearbox with transfer case plus a whole load of other spares. We set up the sale of his transporter and tow car to the new owner of our old R31(I am going to miss the R31 )so we didn't have to take that. As for the price of the #5 GMS R32....I guess that comes down to if Terry Ashwood wanted to sell it....atm moment he doesn't so the price would be quite high.
  6. I have bought many a thing on impulse.......my worst buy was a BA XR6 Turbo.....was the biggest piece of crap I have ever own......never buy a car in yellow...they are a lemon from day one......hence I am now in a NISSAN and will never f#$King buy an Australian car again. Here is another example of an impulse buy below.....powerduct for an M35....I got raped!!!!
  7. The owner of the Sizzler car(Chris Larrosa for now ) owns the last of the R31's as well. Our 31 has gone to a guy by the name of Cary Mc??????. Should have his first race at Lakeside. FYI, Lakeside should be getting the Winfield and GIO R32, R31, DR30( ) and possibly the Bluebird this year. BTW http://my105.com/classified.asp?id=14863&latest=1
  8. lol.....no stripes....standard wheels but looked lower....so no not me!......In a nice colour too....not boring silver
  9. Hi guy's, Long story short.....the guy who we used to use to do our race prep for the Group A's has let us down big time.....although skilled when working on the car himself his employee's seem a little less skillful.....infact most of the work that they have done to the car would have been substandard at a Lada service center!!! .....on top of that it was damn right dangerous. OK one of the things on the list that we gave them was to clean the injectors......well guess what....they didn't....and one of the injectors stuck on......resulting in a fire inside and outside of the car.....no major damage but a shit load of extra work cleaning that we didn't need to do again(FYI we had just finished the car 10 minutes before and were loading it onto the transporter at the time for PI) rant finished....you can imagine how F$%KED OFF I am ATM!!!!!!!.....was wondering wether anyone has the facilities in Sydney to clean 4 injectors today so I can get the car shipped in time to get down to VIC any help would be appreciated. cheers Craig
  10. Spotted a Black M35 AR-X on Victoria RD in Gladesville at about 9AM this morning.
  11. Spotted a Black R32 GTR......looked like it had sprayed black original wheels....NICE!!!!!........Epping Rd at the end of Mowbray RD at about 2.30PM today
  12. pulling the hubs off....cannot be that hard can it......it's only about 30minutes work
  13. Working on the Fat Cow, DR30 and R32.....all about 1K away from you. And I have a hoist now(Jealous Scott!!! )
  14. I am actually....just around the corner from you
  15. Yeh our application is a little different....our temps will only probably ever get up to about 5C-30C on non traffic roads and 60-70C in traffic....the heat range of the 16mm thick canvas product we are using is good for 250-300 deg C and its a non moving part. The Spacer has all been pretty much match ported to the intake manifold with a CAD drawing. P.S. Correct me if I am wrong Andy/Cam
  16. No not worried about it cracking or breaking under pressure. What type of application are you using it with? What type of Phenolic are you using....canvas? Heat rating? Not being a smart arse either...just interested.....we've done a fair bit of research into the type we have used but we also welcome any further info that people might have.
  17. You would have made it home....I drove back from Phillip Island to Sydney last year with no exhaust impeller.....it was painful though. They are certainly a dog with no boost
  18. you got the link for it?
  19. Couple of pictures from private practice on Sat at EC. P.S. It's the DR30's for proper shakedown since 1987.....awesome car...it's like driving a go cart.
  20. it could be a diesel......they cam in manual 2WD.....I very much doubt its a VQ25DET....I know I tripped over one when I was bidding a couple of years ago.
  21. How do you reckon it would go with a car trailer on the back....I might have to tow the DR30 down to PI if we don't get it finished this week.
  22. You make a good point Duncan....might have to climb under one and check it out. The R32/33/34 is pretty do able....only hold up is the bell housing....hence the reasoning behind the Navara scenario.
  23. Nup......but I work with 2 Japanese people Pleb!....they translate shit for me all the time.
  24. lol....houdini....your worse than Ian Simple....just get rid of the cat!!.....or your just strategically place a tile on the ground.
  25. Don't worry....I agree....with you....I think the M35 standing still is....well.....fugly....when moving it does have a great road presence though....as does the a C34 with a nice set of rimsand good ride height. I'm trying to stay as far away from a late model Caldina as I can(wont even show my wife pictures of it) as I know thats its a good car at a damn good price......REASON: my blood run's NISSAN(blinkers).
