OK so a day of sadness over the R31....going to miss the old girl And a life of happiness on the new car.....the GIO R32 now has a new owner...us. And it will be racing.....PI, MCM and lakeside this year.

www.justjap.com they might have some....if not ebay....seach for32 gtr n1 scoops or r33 gtr scoop Oh...you could use the scoop from your original IC.

If I gun my car in a straight line I get now vibration....If I gun is with a slight(very slight) left or right lock I get a vibration.....even after I have straightened up.

sounds like a similar shudder to mine.....I get it through the front when I am under even the slightest power with a slight lock on.... turning left or right. However I don't remember it doing it when it was 2WD.

What s the exact problem....is it just the 4WD light coming on? If so one of the other guy suggested to put the car into drive - foot on brake - stall it up.....4WD light should not come on then. My method (lol.....I'll hold back on the whole scenario). Unplug the sensor in the front right hand guard.....grey plug....this will make you lose ABS and the 4WD sensor.....therefore the 4WD will not know what to do......should only give power to the rear even after wheel spin starts(well it did with mine). any other ?'s you have my number

Really!!! In our old R31 we use about 8.2lts....with the enlarged and baffled sump + the 2 large oil coolers it needs it. Oh and my wifes U13 Bluebird use's about 4.3lts......Dad's Touareg uses about 6.5lts....and. mums prelude....welll thats a tricky one because it's auto and I think from memory the motor bleeds into the GB......My sister has a WRX and they use about 4lts.......brother in law has a falcon....think they are about 5.5lts. Oh thats right we were talking about an M35's.....or was I missing something! Did I read the title right? Amount Of Engine Oil You Guys Put In Your M35 Or did I just confuse anyone that wants to find out how much oil an M35 uses by posting up a whole heap of spam that has no relation to a VQ25DET!!! In saying that lets go back to the M35 answers! Yep, +1 for 5L. Just means you are very slightly over filling.... may account for the the amount that fills up in the dipstick once you turn the engine over. The dipstick is very readable if you check it first thing in the morning before starting the car.... as Craig said. P.S. Sorry in advance if I have offended anyone....thats not what I was trying to do!

I usually put just under 5LT's in....run the engine for a while and top it up the next day if needed. The dipstick is useless for me as well....let it settle overnight and it should give you a reading though.

Spotted a white C34(running!!!!) on Epping road this morning at about 7AM...coming out of the Caltex servo. I was in my wife's U13 Bluebird(also running)!!!!......because my piece of F$#King useless scrap metal shitbox m35 is broken again!!!!! .....yes again!!!!!! VENT finished!!!!!

OK......after a couple of months and the R31 nearly going to the UK we have finally sold her to a local NSW buyer. Was a sad day.....was hard to leave her at her new home......shit I almost shed a tear .....but she's staying in Sydney so all is good. Furthermore she will be raced and not mothballed!!! cannot tell you the depth....but the width between the strutt towers(what Scott said below ) is about 1m.....it's no where near 1.2m.
