  1. get the plugs from him as well. Just PM him Oh.....btw....don't know what your service interval's are.....but you should try to keep it in between 5,000 and 7,000. for oil and oil filter. Especially if you still have the standard turbo
  2. I have to admit I was a bit sceptical about this......but it bloody works....just tried it and then backed it up!

  4. Sort of.... the ECU is in Korea ATM...neither of the readers SAS had would work......damn it!.....don't worry I am pushing as hard as I can....they get a phone call a week.
  5. Spotted a white C34 on the Comenarra Parkway at about 4pm this arvo
  6. lol....yeh PM him lots to tell on it......pretty sure it's sold though. Oh another thing....If it has the pop up screen make sure that it has the English conversion..........saves you coming back to Sydney to do it later at your cost.
  7. yup....mate you wont have a problem with 19's....just make sure you try the wheel on the car first to make sure the offset is correct.
  8. Hi mate, Andy does the private installs. Unless you need it before the 12th then I can do. Call me or PM on it. cheers Craig
  9. Thats what mine did...now the 4WD light is on all the time. Let me know what you find. Hopefully it's cheap
  10. Hi all Sydney Guy's, Thought I would throw this out there and get you're thoughts. For all those people that want to get together and have a meet but also want to do the Language Conversion I was thinking we put together a V35/M35 night(C34's are invited). While your having a chat with the other owners Andy and I could go around and do the installs. Naturally there would be the option of a group buy but that will have to be OK'd with my boss(Andy)....and will also depend on how many cars we get there. Anyway....thoughts guy's! P.S. And yes there is a similar post in the M35 area cheers Craig

  12. Mate 2 things to look out for: * The turbo - If there is any smoke on startup or any sound under max torque good chance it's on it's way out. The have a ceramic exhaust wheel and run quite high boost from standard. Most of the cars I know that have done more than 120,000km's have had to rebuild it. * The Gearbox - If there is a whine or it seems to be slipping check the colour of the oil....should be a nice bright red colour....If it's dark or brown walk away. Dipstick is near the firewall. Make sure you drive a couple before making you final choice. Ben's cars are usually quite good. If you are going to do mods the MN35 VQ25DET is probably the best. Although parts are still being developed. If you just want a car to drive and don't want to fiddle the PM35 with the VQ35DE is you best bet. Mind you there is an awsome twin turbo kit for about $8G landed.
  13. thats awesome....funny I never even saw that thread before......confirms the Haltech problem I have 0335.
  14. Yeh my like comes and goes....pretty sure that the 4WD is still working though as I went through some pretty deep sand recently and could feel the front wheels driving even though the 4WD light was on. I have however had the pleasure of driving mine in 2WD and trust me the whole dynamics of the car changes. I am pretty sure that my error has to do with how much mud and gunk is on my front RHS wheel sensor as I can still hear my pump run up when I start the car.
  15. Andy is in the States ATM...I will make him aware that you are chasing him...he will be back in about a week
  16. If it fitted on your R32 good chance with only some slight tweaking it will bolt up. I have standard R32 GTR callipers with brackets to suit r33 GTR 324mm rotors
  17. you selling em? if so how much? I presume they are a straight bolt up onto a R33 GTR?
  18. hmmmm....I have seen em on Import Monster for about $250(I Think). Let me know if you need a link.
  19. Glad someone else is as scared as his woman as I am! I nearly posted this last night.....now that you have done it Crank up the volume for a lap with an RB20....I never get sick of this sound.
  20. To all the NSW people. Andy is OS in the US for a week or so. In saying that I will be covering for him for the language conversions until he gets back so if you want to book in be sure to PM me. cheers Craig
  21. As soon as I heard green w....... I put you name to it.....lol
  22. look's like a good buy....welcome! What state are you in?....best bet is to get in contact with Chris Rogers.....I'm sure he'll be able to help you out on your all your electrical needs. @Chris. If you read this I haven't forgotten about you....been away camping.
  23. @ R31Gun......Pretty sure that was Linton's way of get a response to Ash from me......you know those kids that used to stand behind the big kids in kindergarden shit stirring so they can get a fight started......same sort of thing......but some of us grew out of it! @Linton....didn't know there were sides....shit this sounds like I'm back at pre school.....I am also with Ash and others on some of what they say....shit even you!.....and I don't care how long I have know them.....nor do I really care if they know me or not. Just to straighten things out....as you seem to have dropped a couple of silly misplaced comments in. e.g. Pin drop(I did smirk and mumble to myself shit stirrer though), weddings..... If you want to go and stir people into response's go then get some ball's and go the whole hog e.g. Tell you wife/girlfriend that she's got a fat arse while she's in the middle of her PMS cycle. ......make sure you video it for posting on youtube or Police evidence(Oh....not having a go a your wife/GF either as I have never seen her) I have been an Industrial Designer on a CAD for 15 years and at no time have I ever been able to do or see someone else rack up a part design similar to the exhaust we are talking about in 30 minutes.....not even a day.....not to mention my hourly cost which I can tell you now is not cheap! I am sure HKS can make em.....how much though? For a one off? Wedding's and cars have nothing in common other than most of us will loose our cars as soon as the wedding happens......P.S. maybe you should not type you thoughts in future. The $200(or has it now gone up to $1,500) of metal you have estimated may be correct.....but the hours your going to put into em is where the cost is......are you going to garrentee these will be able to glow red for six's hours without falling apart. If you are you should be working for a major motor sporting team as you are in short supply. Also I will want your details for future reference just incase our main set which has probably done more race hours than any other Group A in the world since 1988 get damaged (Yes thats right not fall apart get damaged). @Ash.....I am pretty sure the RB20 had standard cranks with special bearings'. The blocks are a bit special as well....they start standard.....then all the cooling ports are painted all the way though.....larger diameter oil flow points.......but the biggest piece of art me thinks is the sump and the baffle system they have put together....and all hand made. All in all there is nothing that special on the parts list.....it's just how its been executed.....like everyone has said....you can make more HP out of an RB20 these day's.......but can the motor sustain the high output and 8,800rpm for long periods.....unfortunately our races only ever seem to be about 8 laps....the cars are only just starting to work properly at that......they need at least 20 laps @ the subject. I'm getting the feeling that one of these motors with everything(- ECU) is only worth 8k - 10K....thats a good price for a 2lt work horse that with get you 320KW's ATW's all day.
