  2. Danny I hate you!!!! I'm doing it!
  3. hmmmm...... definitely the next on the list for me thing in a month or so....after I fix the small PB problem that is Just got to figure out where to put the gearbox cooler though. Danny we need to catch up again so I can do some measurements. P.S. As Dale said "Thanks for all the help spending our money".
  4. +1 on that comment BTW Scott.....sent you a PM.....might need to have a chat.
  5. nah...$350 for the brackets.....then the rotors on top.
  6. I should have gone E-Manage and don't listen to sales bullshit again!!! 1. Checked with the dyno guy to see that he had clamped the voltage on the signal from the airflow meter. - Done 2. Checked this is even worth going ahead with by doing a long trip to see wether fuel consumption was better - Done 3. Have tried dropping the boost all the way back to 7PSI.....still has the same problem just with less power. - Done 4. Cleaned airflow meter, throttle body and fliter - Done 5. Need to find someone to make up a bigger airflow meter unit to reduce the voltage and see wether that work....will have to go back on the dyno though. 6. Go down to VIC one day and see wether Cihan can fix. 8. Suggestions ...... I will try anything All else fails I will sell the Haltech or burn it.
  7. LOL....F$#KING GOOD QUESTION ANDY Economy is awsome.....getting inbetween 9.5 and 9.9 on the freeway....could only ever get 7.8 to 8.2 before. Power from 2,500 till 5,000 is absolutely awsome as well!!!!!!....pity I cannot rev it above about 5,000rpm without it losing power or backfiring...apparently this is normal because knowone ever rev's there car past 4,000rpm ....so I am told!!!!......lol...your f$#ked if you have a high flow like me according to them....being that I highflow only starts working properly at 3,800 on the M35. I have no good news other than I will get it sorted and one day my car will rev to the limiter again!....even though I have been told that this is not normal for people do ....will I release the information one I get it sorted back to Maltech? NO!!!!! ....well no unless they are willing to pay for it as I am having to pay for the R & D myself....you would think that this being the first M35 they would be anxious to do this.....but no!...... apparently I am a pain in the arse because I want my car to rev to 6,500rpm without backfiring or losing power. Will I ever go Haltech again? Up to them.....but if I get it sorted first.....F$#KING NEVER!!!!
  8. yeh they want $350 dollars for them .....on my way out this morning to pick them up
  9. I'll be in that. BTW has anyone been able to find a decent price for the rotor + mounts to upgrade to R32 calipers onto a bigger rotor?
  10. Not if they are R32 rear callipers. It's the mounting points that are different. Where are you getting your braided lines Scott? Are the ADR compliant?
  11. It's a big job to check it on the car......just drive it till it fails.....car is still drivable without boost.
  12. Good to meet you up there Ben.....I have found a new favorite track me thinks.....LAKESIDE is awesome!!!! I got to have a turn in the arvo in the R31....... unfortunately also I broke the cam so the car is only on display this weekend .....but I will be back next year.
  13. Sorry guy's....busted up both cars on the Friday The cam snapped on the R31 in the last practice session....pity as it was going damn strong. We WILL bed back next year. Sorry again guy's
  14. let it blow!!!....then maybe you can stick a 2lt S20 in it!!!!....take it closer to the original GTR....know what I mean???
  15. How's Ian and Steve though!!!....at full adjustment they still have to sit on a milk crate and use a pogo stick for brake and accelerator !!!
  16. for those that are interested
  17. oh....and the original Skyline was not an RB
  18. What's wrong with the "Pokemon" or "Deer in the headlights" front end look! I have to agree...butt ugly front end on the M35's.....my fellow M35 owners may disagree though. Here comes the FlaK!!!!
  19. Driven both. 260....awesome.....but will the woman like?....if she like a manual yes......only thing that stopped me is I new I was going to clock up K's and being a pre 2001 car I had to be realistic. M35....have there problems but still a very good car.....perfect for every day use. If I have had my choice again.....the 260.....just because I miss having a manual.
  20. LOL.....TOSSER!!!! Take your RB and shove it moron!. I suppose you went all over the rest of the forum slagging off other Nissan makes as well? Why don't you go and start you own WEB page "www.simpleton.com.au" And no, I'm not joking!!!!! Want to shit stir any more TOSSER? Or maybe you could start a "How my R33GTst was originally an auto and I just found out because I am an idiot post" enough said......I'll report you to the moderators next time around. P.S. Just a heads up....a couple of them own Stagea's as well.
  21. yeh rear pads looked like a perfect fit over the rotor from memory.....it was just mounting them that was the problem. have fun....pretty easy job doing the front as long as you have the right tools. Can I ask a question....why DOT5?
  22. here you go.....I new it was somewhere. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/M3...p;hl=m35+brakes read down towards the bottom. P.S. Rears don't fit.......but let me know if you make up something to get them to fit....I would probably be interested in doing it. cheers Craig
  23. good pic....
  24. Yes thats the rev range......the reason it works sometimes and not others is because it is binding up. It feels like you have 2 boost settings does it not?
