Understand what you are saying here and I agree. What I don't agree with is the inconsistency of the rules when it comes to emissions. By inconsistent I mean that any car that has done more than 90,000km's should have there cat replaced....do they? No! If it was law to change your cat at 80,000km's then I would and I would be sticking a cat back in. On top of that how many old shitbox's do you see on the road pumping out crap and the RTA does nothing about them. Sorry I am not having a go at you either I have just had the argument many a time.

Pretty sure that the GT3071 setup is the same a Danwatt and myself. I used the 550hp Garrett BB's.

Hi Guy's, couple of things: 1/ Not sure about spending $2K for a standard BB high flow unit even if it does just bolt straight back up. But that's just me. Also good work to Stephen for finding this alternative. 2/ Andy sorry to correct...standard turbo rebuild is about $650, High flow with bush's is about $1,250 and High flow with Garrett BB + other parts approx $2K. 3/ As Andy also said I have a problem with bottom end power. I have a dump pipe on the way from Japan(should be here early next week). As soon as I get it on I will post results....fingers crossed. 4/ Also I will hopefully will be doing the ECU around the end of July beginning of August(need tax return). I will post up all dyno results from the standard tune....will also share the final results. 5/ Last but not least... interesting what GCG are saying about our standard boost....my standard was going to 16PSI and bleeding back to 12psi....probably why it shit itself.

most of them are adjustable.....just check in the spec's. There is one more thing that you need sorry......only if you want to watch TV while driving......there is an additional switch or bypass that you need to purchase.....not that any of us watch TV/DVD while driving though! . Ok....from what I can find out these were no manufactured for the GSM cars, the were modified.... basically you need to get a 52mm boost gauge and a 80mm rev then take it to a gauge maker and get him to exchange the inners over and make a new backing plate and needle. below is a pic of one of the GMS cars(now Sizzler) cockpits
