Little more info for you. I bought an AR-X with 72,000km's on it and it now has 102,000km's. I also have a complete exhaust and have had since I first got it. Just to let you know the boost is at about 15PSI(standard is 8PSI) and has been since the exhaust went on. I have had no Turbo problems at all and my car does get a hard time every now and again. If you run the correct fuels and keep it serviced you should have no turbo problems. However this does depend on like all cars, that it has been looked after properly in the past. As far as fuel consumption goes mine drinks about the same as a GENIII V8 Falcadore stationwagon....I have not put a piggy back ECU on it yet so it's also running very rich(PS They all run very rich) P.S. Turbo is only $1,450 to rebuild with high flow setup and new steel impellers. Don't know about taking the turbo out but I am pretty sure(if I have no bolts ceased) that I can get it out from underneath. Reliability - It's a NISSAN, what more can I say!

Hi AV, This all comes back to how much you want to spend....like just about anything......$2,000, $20,000? The below prices and figures are estimates that I have been working to....If you want more info please feel free to PM me. Exhaust $1,200 (Charlestone Exhaust) please note that the boost jumps from 8psi to 15.5psi (probably gets you to about 240kw) Turbo high flow and steel impellers $1,450 Intercooler $1,000 ECU(Haltec with dyno tune...P.s. The standard tune is very is shit so this should be a big improvement) $1,350 This should get you up to between 260kw and 275kw fairly easily at about 15PSI. As you can see done properly you are already at $5,000 and you have not even cracked the motor open yet. Another couple of $$$$ on the motor and turbo and you should quite easily get about 320KW to 340KW...would be interested to know if the VQ35 bit's would go into it as you could the quote easily look at 340KW!! Finding someone that can build a performance VQ25DET motor is you next problem.....I have seached high and low. Next problem is the gearbox. The Shift is crap.....gearbox seems good though. Shift Kit $450 (Andy found someone for this) Stall convertor $800 (I am still searching....I may use Domanello's) Oil cooler $200 (You can get them anywhere....it's a good safety upgrade due to Ozzie summer weather....yes I know last summer was shit...lol) And finally now that you are traveling fairly well you need to stop and turn. I am not bias when saying this either....the AR-X although being higher and heavier probably has the best setup. e.g V-Hicas, Larger Rolling diameter, LSD rear diff is standard, 2 syncro settings, attessa. Bilstein Suspension - $1,650 + fit $350 Sway bar's front and back $600 (See SydneyKid on forums) Brakes - your guess...Brembo is about $2,500 from Northshore Prestige. Anyway after all of that....you the have the fuel bills....and pushing 1,750kg's with a V6 2.5lt turbo ain't cheap

Back to 2nd me think's.....1st is a lockout down to the left.....it's not your standard R31 gearbox. ahh yes......nothing quite like the sound of an RB20 on full spin P.S. You guy's hear that the Group A's are going to be running at the last V8 Supercar round at Oran Pack? Two or three races I heard.

Don't know much about the 34 set up. But with the M35 I'm going Haltec...they have great new system's at a fairly cheap price....I have also found that they pick and choose there dyno guy's very well which is a big plus if you want to go to big HP.....I'm talking about the dyno guy's that are not hack's......there's alot BS that goes around when it comes to dyno's.

Vq25det M35 Stagea Turbo, I Need A New One

When I did my exhaust system I got to have a good look at the removal of the Turbo while still on the car...it is possible with the right tools. I have also been quoted in Sydney for a turbo service and it's approx $1,450 for high flow and new impellers(steel). From what I have been told there is no use in making it ballbearing. P.S. I get some smoke on cold start up but then it goes as soon as the car gets warm(always get up to operating temp before a thrash). Might also mention that these cars need to be running premium unleaded. In Japan I think you might find that our maximum octane is there minimum. P.S.S. Very strange for the turbo to go at this early. I am running 15PSI(have been doing so for about 15,000kms) on the standard turbo and have no problems -

M35 Exhaust. Had it locally made from a mob that I have been using for years....great quality and great job.....Nice burble for a V6 turbo as well! Got 3" cat back....will be doing the dump pipe and new high flow cat as soon as the turbo get's done....pretty weird thing happened when I did it as well....boost went up from approx 8PSI to approx 15PSI as soon as it was done....new it would be a slight difference but not that much.

19" is a good size....I nearly went there.....Next time I buy tyre's I may go up to 19" wheels and tyres. I found 20" to big.....but that's just my opinion. P.S. Sold rim's last night so I wont bother posting pic's

just a quick one....is it worth putting Car model or some thing up the top to say how many of each type of Stag there is eg. 34 Series 1 34 Series 2 34 rs260 M35 rs M35 AR-X M35 Axis Or is this a pain in there arse to do?

LOL....what beat's me is that the V35 Coupe and Sedan can both get compliance with the VQ35DE and it's on the same platform(I think)....go figure.
