  5. Had mine done in Sydney...cat back...you could ring them and ask about shipping one down...let me know if you want more info. P.S. Opening up the exhaust will make no difference if you don't do the Turbo and booste gauge.
  6. Have not seen or found much info on the VQ25DET, not through lack of seaching though!!! But it's the same block as the VQ35NEO is it not? If so best bet is to get the VQ35NEO motor as there is heaps of performance stuff for them.....there are also Twinturbo kit's available.

Yeh I have done the exhaust and wheels so far....Going to get the Turbo pulled out then Ballbearinged, highflow and steel impellered next year....then a booste controller and booste gauge put in to get it up to about 13 to 15 PSI....will see if it needs the intercooler after that. With suspension there's a mob in Perth(contact ausis)....I am trying to locate someone in Sydney....problem is I don't know wether I want to part with $1,800 for coil over's installed just to go down 2 or 3 inch's if I am never going to take it on the track. Would prefer to spend it on brakes as the stock one's are crap.

Have you tried a small stall to start the boost going....release - then progressive throttle rather than right to the floor(this is something to master...lol)...I find mine get's out of the hole quicker doing that....if I put my foot to the floor it feels like it goes backwards....Once up and going though, foot all the way down and it should sit in the arse untill 180km/h. P.S. Would not be doing to many rev' and dumps into gear....might also find that the boost does not climb doing that anyway.
  11. Good luck on the 1/4. I think you might actually be the first M35(or AR-X) across it in AUS....let us know how you go. P.S. Some useless BS for you. Read some BS about the bottom end's of the VQ25DET being weak...false!!!...Had a talk to some guy on the weekend who imported a V35 Skyline and put a Twin turbo kit(700HP..maybe crank)on it. He basically said that the VQ25 and VQ35 have the same bottom ends. In short there's nothing wrong with the bottom end's on them(his words). Also spoke to someone else about the Turbo...he said pull it out, High flow and ballbearing it and it will be good for about 13PSI everyday(standard is 7 or 8). P.S.S Good luck mastering the manual shift!!!!...I think I worked it out...shift about 1,000 rev's before red line...I think...lol

Duncan....I was in a Black M35 ARX.....If you were in the white Stagea you should have heard me I was right next to you tapping the horn as I went past the entrance from Castle Hill road...maybe you had the Spice Girls pumping on the stereo and didn't hear me...lol.....might not have been you though. I hit Pennant hills Road at about 7.45 to 8.

  18. I third that motion of pic's!!!! Just installed a 3" cat back exhaust....certainly makes a difference in uptake but it's dying for more boost. Anyone got Turbo spec's on these...need to know what a safe level without spitting bits of motor or turbo through the exhaust. Also let us know about cost's for lowering and were to get springs from....my new wheels go on next week and it definatly will need to come down at least 1.5 to 2 inches.
  19. More info for the ARX mod's: Exhaust 3" cat back $1,100 from Charlstone Exhaust in Blacktown, Sydney. Wheels are 350Z & Ford offset and stud pattern. More mod's to come...for NSW anyway. P.S. Hope I am not being a pain posting this...it's just it's taken some time for me and I wish I had this info to start with.
  20. Yehaa!!! Finally got my M35 AR-X on the road registered....3 months is a bloody long time but well worth it. Now just got to get it going like shit off a stick....lol

  22. Hi Mate, I used Prestige and had good results. One thing you will find doing a private import though is the amount of chasing you have to do once the car hit's customs agent in Australia(get a good one)..e.g.I was suppose to have my car delivered from Brisbane to my Sydney compliance, and they forgot the last part. Therefore my car sat at the Toll depot for 3 day's untill I tracked it down and picked it up myself...I am also still waiting for them to send me my paperwork, they have now said they have were sending it about three time and it still has not left there office. Next part is compliance and then rego....I'll let you know how I go....all finger's crossed! P.S. For $25G you should be able to get quite a good car(how good is the Yen at the moment!)...try to stay away from the Mod's though, as it may make it harder to comply. For insurance I am using Shannons (about $1,340 with a Cams licence). P.S.S. Make sure you know everything about the M35 Stagea and compliance before you start bidding.
  23. Any idea on stud pattern? Is it the same as a 350Z? Also any idea of anyone that can do the TV/DVD/Sat Nav conversion in Sydney? One more...lol...Anyone know where I can get spring's from? P.S. I've sorted a full exhaust in NSW if anyone wants to know...just need to confirm price...approx $1,500!

You nothing about historic racing...hence your comment.....moron!!!....you know why there is a R32 GTR....because of the Group A's...Nissan wanted somthing to blow the wheels of the rest of the world in Group A racing. So in saying that it all started with the DR30's. 3. Your car has 660hp!...BS....and if it does it probably overheats after 12 seconds. 4. Bit pissed off that a standard R32 GTR would be worth more than your one aye....lol 5. Bit of info for you...We did build the worlds fastest/best Group A's in Australia. 6. Have your ever driven one.....NO!......well if you are ever lucky enough to drive one maybe you will see why they are worth the money. 7. Do you think your R32 would beat it in a 1000km enduro?....lol....your car would be lucky to complete 5 laps in this class at pace. That's why Groups A's are worth $100K or more and your R32 is only worth....maybe $22....lol P.S. I think I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning...lol
  25. LOL.....classic!!!! Had to sell my XR6 due to the third kid coming. However buying an M35 AR-X.....big jump up from a shitbox Ford.....Best thing is that I have convinced the wife that it not only looks like a Volvo it goes like one.....lol....ain't she in for a suprise....LOL!!!!
