you should have more k's..........less load! On the fwy i'm in -boost simply because I am not riding the torque converted right down low at 2,000rpm anymore(it used to be +boost).......I am pretty sure I was 10.2lts per 100km's on the way home from Vic the other day fully ladden.

That I agree with too....unfortunately the first owners of these cars were more often than not slack at servicing and like many things once a part is damaged it stays damaged or gets worse. drilling out that banjo gives you just a little more of a safeguard......putting the dump on and moving the cat further back is even more of a safeguard IMO. Regardless you are going to be up for a new turbo at some stage.....the most kms I have seen on a well serviced car is 155kms before the turbo went and the guy drove the car very nicely most of the time!... He had the banjo drilled out and a dump pipe!
