  1. or you can just send down you VB with the kit....whatever you prefer...I'm easy!
  2. yup...you send me your kit(or I can supply at your cost)....I'll do the upgrade to the spare and send it back.....you change it over and send me your old one. that way your car's off the road for the minimum amount of time.
  3. don't forget you will need about 10lt's of oil. and a whole box of tissues if you get it wrong!
  4. There is a noticeable timing change on high boost at different times without additives.......advance/retard under hard acceleration ........but then again I still have to go back on the dyno as I have changed a couple of things since the tune. as far as being safe......motor doesn't sound or feel stressed so yeh it's safe....but I only run 15-16psi most of the time!.....If I am running 20PSI I now run Octane boost in it and all seems good. P.S. And yes my car does run rich!
  5. $500 for installation and Oil is a good price imo......but no more than that!.......it's about 4 hours work with the correct tools.....but 1 stuff up and your screwed! try this when pricing......tell them it's a 350Z auto...that they will understand...it's the exact same shit. http://g35driver.com/forums/engine-drivetrain-forced-induction-diy/313499-diy-transgo-valve-body-upgrade.html?ref=esp-link have fun!!!
  6. same poly bush's.....accept he got the set that help fix the pull to the left.
  7. MEh......do I really need to explain it!
  8. no chirping and no destructive gear changes anywhere......I am putting out over 270AWKW's and I had no issue's.
  9. you don't even notice the shifts on light throttle .........full throttle there is no clunking or harshness.....just super fast and precise!.....keeps the power rolling. My gearbox would not change into 3rd at all unless you completely backed off and 2nd was flaring.....now it shifts without even thinking about it. P.S. I have to admit at about half way I was a bit scared about the thought of drilling ect....didn't help that all the workshop guy's were laughing at me and saying they would not even attempt it.
  10. bit of a PITA....I am sure after I do the next 2 things will be a lot easier..........destructions come with it.
  11. Transgo kit is a go....Shift is soooo quick and strong!
  12. Just so you know the V35 manual one fit's in with a little bit of cutting......I had one in mine....I lent it to someone about 6 months ago for a couple of weeks. When I do get it back it will be for sale.
  13. I know what you are talking about with the pricing....I got quoted a supply and fit for the Transgo from my gearbox place of $850. Kit in Australia(And he has dropped his price $150 from last week) : http://www.ebay.com....c#ht_2769wt_907 Kit out of the US: http://www.ebay.com....b#ht_1336wt_907
  14. How much cheaper? can you tell us what RVO do to make the shift kit work....and I'm not being a smart arse. guy's below is a short read for you....just so that you know why the shift kit is important when you do start winding up the power......no pun intended with the Transgo site either! http://www.txchange.com/transgo.htm
  15. sigh of relief!! ....for me that is.
  16. From memory it will be about the same price depending on how much I get the Kit's for and depending on what deal you get from RVO.....I nearly did the RVO but I changed my mind as I preferred the Transgo spec! Either kit is fine though....Aaron and Jethro are quite happy with theres and they are putting out good numbers.
  17. one site....and nearly at the same price as hangkangs www.tirerack.com shipping is about $350 US
  18. mine is going in tomorrow night with my current clapped out gearbox....all fingers crossed.....I should see petty much straight away if there is a difference. BTW....was he trying to sell his own version of the VB??...and what kit did he suggest to use instead?
  19. lolz....I sort of guessed.....just quietly I had no love for your car either! what was the oil leak btw?
  20. thought I would post this as it's a great cut http://vimeo.com/27431105 crank it up....nothing sounds like a worked RB26!
  21. lolz! Nismo Shmizo.....Go for a Haltech PS200o and a digital dash!
  22. yup....flying up Thursday. I wont be playing though....Cazz had some last minute issues with the DR30.....pity because because this meeting is going to have some very quick cars. Dad will be running the GIO car again unless he meets with an accident! @Marko....boost was set to 26PSI() with 8,500rpm in the 90/91 "apparently....but these motors are stupidly strong so who really knows what they did. Power level I would prefer to keep quite.....let's just say it's more than enough....weight is about 1,320kgs from memory.
  23. Hi all, Thought I might post this...mainly for a little bit of sound. This is the first shakedown after a complete driveline fresh'n up......rev's were set to 7,000rpm and boost to 20PSI and we were on old slick's. Timing was 1:05's which imo was not to bad considering we didn't even know we were doing that time!
  24. P.S. I am not trying to piss anyone off but it was bought up on the weekend from a new person that it is finding it hard to sift through the crap....and we are all guilty! Back on subject!
  25. you know your own product!....more
