  9. Service intervals are dependant on the quality of product imo e.g. cheap $40-$50 be prepared to do 5,000km services or risk your standard turbo dying......I know my oil is good for at least 20,000km's(the can say's 40,000km's not that I would do it). With the oil and filters I use I am currently doing my service's at about 10,000 to 12,000km's and thats with the "occasional" spirited drive. But if I decide to do a track day, dyno run or drag's it get's a fresh load of oil. Services are up to the owner but in my experience you get what you pay for with servicing......It saying that imo the best and cheapest way to do a service is to do it yourself that way what you save in service charges you get back in quality product's.
  10. Hi guy's, After doing a recent motor change we found an inherent problem with the M35's front lower control arm bush on both sides....seems they start to fall apart at about 100,000km's. Now I thought to myself after talking to someone else that it may not be every car so I decided to check mine as I had noticed it's starting to track worse and worse....and I also have that f#$king vibration when powering to the left that nobody has been able to find. Sure enough and although hard to see that had fallen apart....I had to remove the arm to check it properly as it didn't appear to be broken when it was up there. Anyway enough drivel......I have sourced polythene ones which I will put on in the next week or so and I'll check to see if it turns the drive of the car too firm. Once I have done that I have spoken to the suspension place I am getting to do it about setting up an exchange set and doing the install if needed. For those of you in Vic I will be talking to Scott about doing the install and exchange set's and dealing direct with the suspension place. Please note that you will need a wheel alignment after doing this. Anyway I am hoping to set up the exchange set to be about $250-$300.......you will have to go through Scott or myself to do this unless you want to put down a returnable deposit to insure we get our arms back. I am not sure about the price of the install but I would be thinking it would be around $500 at the most including the wheel alignment at my suspension place. any thoughts guys.

  18. IMO the dump pipe is not that hard to do.....it's just knowing how to do it. I'm not a mechanic and I figured it out....just took a little longer the first time.....but there are imo a couple of little tricks which make it a lot easier....and becasue that dump pipe is so similar to Scott's imo it should not be a hassle.
