  1. Try to get an Oil flush and then get them to put a good quality oil(take you own and give it then) in it before you do the long trip. I recently did a turbo change for someone and the reason it had gone was that the oil feed to the turbo had blocked...this happen's because the oil feed bango only has a 1mm feed hole. Cold pack is basically a snow pack...has heated windscreen and a couple of other little things. In saying this I would also get the car put up on a hoist so you can check it for rust yourself.
  2. same thing....there is only a 4WD ECU, transfer case, oil can and pump motor.
  3. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!...... Oh and a little birdy told me yesterday the the error when you get it limits boost to .7PSI for those of you running the standard boost system.
  4. It's part of the transmission though and yes on the spare...but only when we do the trans changes.

  6. I think his talking about the frontshaft from the GB to the front diff.....you don't have a spare.

  8. Loving the Bilstein/Nismo combo....front Sway made a good difference as well.....no need for the rear sway as I am way too tail happy atm anyway!

  13. Aaron this will be up to the owner of the car....while I agree with you I doubt the turbo will be taken off again as he is getting his turbo done by Hypergear not some cheap dodgy guy!
  14. Heatshields were not really the problem....problem was 2 of the bolts on the dump would not crack...oh and one bolt on the heatshield.....everything else went along pretty well. and I am pretty sure one of the heatshields wont be going on.

  17. Yup had to move the front shaft out of the way to measure everything......shot of a job
  18. I bought a new one from Nissan....FYI there was an updated part number from the original! So if you buy a new one it should last longer!

  20. yup.......but.....when you get the trans hot it shifts harder due to the pressure being up higher......I think it's Nissans cheap way of getting a more sporty feel in the shifts!

  24. Aaron try this. Stall up in 2WD......when it starts spinning let it go and then flick your attessa back on and it should lock up the fronts launch like a mofo! I did a couple of back to back tests with a mate the other night on a private road and this was by far the quickest way to launch my car.....sub 5's!
