  1. Why would you go a VQ40DE with a turbo...or even a VQ35DE? Stock internal's on those are only good for 240AWKW's on 98 unless you build it which is mega $$$. You'll get far more our of a stock VQ25det for far less mucking around and dollars. Have to say that even if Scott's Dyno is happy even if his putting down 320-330AWKW's out of a stock VQ25det with a Garret 30/86 thats pretty good......not to mention that we are still figuring out how the stupid ECU works. What do stock RB26's put down at all 4's? ....I might also point out that we loose 80Killa wasps through the driveline unlike a manual RB26. figgn's hate auto's!!!!!!!mumble mumble mumble......

  3. Track rb26 as they have a little more development due to the group a era. ....400m and burnouts rb30! Either way you will always do better with hp development with the rb30! In saying that if I had a car with an rb30 in it I certainly would not be going back to a rb26! But what do I know....
  4. I thought you were a little soft....the nuts on the spacer always need to be tight. Don't over tighten em like Alex always does as it makes the handling a little sketchy on the limit!

  7. This is an SMS I got from a guy I did an precision ss1 turbo for: Hi, I've finally got around to fitting the turbosmart bleed and I also replaced the bov with a turbosmart plumback. The car is driving great and has even less lag with the leaky bov replaced. I just took the car down to is motorsports to do a few dyno runs to check the a/f's and the car made 183kw's at 6000rpm with over 150kw's from 3400rpm with a max of just under 17psi boost dropping to just over 15psi. The a/f's were surprisingly good too sitting on about 11.5 at full load. This is just an FYI that these cars have quite a bit more in them with the standard ecu and injectors. It's not so much the power that interested me with the car....it was the amount of torque!

  18. You say you have an impul....from memory they have no restraints. I blew my first motor on an impul.
  19. Adaptronic will be around the $2,200 mark not including injectors. Jez or myself will confirm pricing and what need to be done in the next couple of weeks.
  20. And to think I sold my harness! Adaptronic setup is nearly there. Hopefully I'll have the final tune in the next week or so. But....you may find that you will need to go back to a cable throttle. Anyway updates still to come. Alex - picky? Bitch slap 4u...but you are right. I want my foot to match the power delivery!
