  1. Yeah remember when i was in school seeing some old mags with the RUF porsche in them, it was that car and its paint thats been stuck in my mind for so long. So true joeyjoejoejunior ssr's look awesome on any thing bar a lada niva, actually they'd probably make the lada nice. looking for picks of r33's in olive, not having much luck tho.
  2. Was thinking it'd look better with black ssr professors or something like that. Not sure how it'd look on my 33 tho
  3. Yeah it's a sportech porsche, the paint is actually surplus army olive drab. they've nicknamed it the nato porsche.
  4. love the paint on this upmarket VW...
  5. I love this guy, I'd try hollinger...... Got any pics of this weapon that ur building yo.
  6. 12 ltr plenum I thought that 4-5 litres would be plenty on my RB25.
  7. I had a bloody magna that did this turns out that the head was cracked and was leaking coolant into one of the inlet port, lets hope its not this hey.
  8. Yeah its too tall, I knew i forgot something.. probably need to use some sort of push in filler cap now I'll give these guys a ring on monday and see what i can do http://www.elesa-ganter.com/I/gruppo_11.htm#
  9. That twin throttle RB25 manifold is quite like something that i've been pondering for a while. How much was throttle response and air flow distribution improved? Rather than a common plenum I was thinking that seperate plenums with balance pipe with vac box inc. AAC vavle would be better. I see that he's using twin throttle cables Any info?
  10. I'll paint it, probably black. The angle sort of carried over from the std bottle, probably wouldn't put it there if i started over. Sanded it cause the alloy i used was i really bad shape had quite a bit of corrosion on it. I guess the paint'll stick
  11. Decided to give this a go. This is where i'm at, waiting for fittings and a cap
  12. I thought that the difference was with the cas eg. silver for S1 and early S2 and black for late S2 - on Late S2 in pic below..

  16. last nissan filter that I got was made in Australia, must've been old stock from R31 days, look to be a darker blue than normal.
  17. it is true that the genuine filter is cheaper than the ryco filters i used to use. bout 8 bucks for nissan one or 12 or so for ryco.
  18. r33 gtst rear bar still for sale, if so how much inc. postage to SA post code 5264
  19. I have heard that full race manifolds are Sch 40 304 for the runners and Sch 40 316H for the collector. I would've thought that stainless would have more resistance to scaling than steam pipe. Yeah, once again you could get it coated. Each to their own I guess.
  20. What are u sandblasting with? It is possible to embed contaminates into the aluminium. I've managed to contaminate the stuff with a file (somebody borrowed it and was filing some old rusty steel) that I neglected to check/clean.
  21. Std ECU has Knock retard function, I believe that the power FC does not
  22. http://www.moates.net/product_info.php?cPa...;products_id=54 emulator and programmer in one seems like a bargain compared to aftermarket ecu This relates to 300zx tuning but is still relevant. http://cherrypicker.tripod.com/id10.html
  23. Surely there are grades of stainless that give a reasonable service life, namely 310 or 253ma. Just most cheepy manifolds are made from bloody 304 and are too thin to last any amount of time.
  24. Looks good, what thickness filler did u use? I should get off my butt and have a go at making one of those RIPS style catch can/washer bottle combos got plenty of 3mm plate but aint got plenty of spare time.
