  2. if this is what you want to do mate i so go for it, don't let the haters put you off. there's plenty around. im at the beginning of a similar but a little easier conversion, VR38 swap into my R34 gtt that just shat a built RB25/30 neo. ill be running it in RWD only with a holinger 6 speed sequential RD6 from my previous setup. ive done a fair bit of measuring and it should fit alright as a rwd application, as for AWD i think the motor needs to mount a fair bit higher to get the drive shafts to work (hence old mate from ukraine's one its up so high) ive also been looking at the haltech ecu (plug and play) but a friend and pit guy for the just jap r35 is steering me towards the Motec plug and play. im planning on running the drive by wire, will be adapting the r35 pedal and sensor to my car.
  3. battery was fine and charged. some previous owner made the main starter wire black just like the earth wires, naturally i earthed it to body. banged it on positive and all systems go. cheers everyone on here for there input. helped out a lot with the conversion.
  4. hope someone can help me out here, just did my manual conversion over the last few days, all in ready to turn the key. now i havent yet wired up the reverse lights so hoping that isnt my problem, but i hit the key for the first time tonight and all that happened was the starter motor clicked, car didnt turn over or start. i have looped the inhibitor switch plug. also wondering what i do with all the left over wiring that was off the auto box. the only thing i have running to the box is the speedo plug thats connected. cheers

  6. i already looked at the plazmaman one for quite a while but decided against it, trying to tidy up the engine bay make everything a bit more accessible. but ive already ordered the greddy so no point talking about different ones. just want to know whats involved with fitting it. cheers
  7. hey all, ive searched and searched the forums and just have a few questions about fitting a r33 greddy plenum to a r34 gtt with neo engine. so i bought the r33 greddy plenum, r33 throttle body adapter, r33 hks fuel rail, and will buy r33 injectors. few things i want to know: So i can only use a r33 s2 or s1 throttle body? or can i use a bigger aftermarket one? if i choose the aftermarket one will i have to weld a new flange onto my plenum? What TPS i will have to use What wiring i will have to alter or remove to get this to work What do i have to do to make the injectors fit? just use smaller (or bigger?) O rings for the injectors? any other hints and tips anyone know please let me know, the info will be very very appreciated. thanks

  9. +1 for neo, i've owned r33 S1 and r34 and the neo is heaps better. parts are a little bit more expensive but not by much. my car has FMIC, splitfire coilpacks, apexi pod, PFC, high-flowed turbo, exhaust and made 246kw

ITEM: Garrett T04E turbo, HKS low mount cast manifold (very strong, wont crack) and HKS 38mm external gate Reason for selling: recently found out my R34 has a high flowed turbo and the T04e wont be much of an upgrade for me, probably only gain 10kw or so Condition: seems excellent, no shaft play. i haven't fitted it to car, will fit all RB20det and RB25det engines.
