  1. Had a win this morning. Acquired the new Top Gear episodes at 1mb/s. Fastest I've seen it in a while.
  2. What chev was it in? Driving one with a t56 box in it (six speed I think) you have to push it back and forward again to get into reverse. I didnt know that and just slammed that shit into gear.
  3. rearry? I've heard those F trucks are near damn indestructible though. I wanna buy a mini moke but they're all like 7k
  4. From a cost effective point of view you'd be better of buying a VW van or something. F100 parts would be hard to source I'd imagine. It would be sick though. Mind you, I used to bum around in an old liberty wagon with a drumkit in the back, two guitars, a bass and two 50w amps. It was cramped, but it worked
  5. Silver R32 GTR along Beckett Rd Bridgeman Downs around 130/2 today.
  6. Always been a fan of your car, and was actually keen on buying it a while ago, but you've made the right decision not selling it.. yet! Has it been reliable since you've owned it, ran into many major problems etc?
  7. So I won't be drinking multiple Tooheys Extra Dry's again any time soon. They used to be cool, and then they changed. Back to Becks I go.
  8. Morn. Stuck on a train. Plus side it's fark yeah Friday.
  9. The "hack" in question enables unsigned code to be run, having said that there is no support for a backup manager (the thing you use to backup games). To get it you just download the hacked 3.55 firmware and install it like you would any other firmware update. I haven't personally played with it but as far as I know there aren't any options for backing up or pirating games. Developers don't have anywhere else to jump ship to. The 360 was hacked years ago and it's as simple as flashing your drive and you can play burnt games. The Wii is even easier, you basically install a mod chip and just download games from a torrent site and run them off a portable hdd. Sony has done a good job at keeping the pirates away. The previous known hacks are buggy and difficult for even an intermediate user to understand. it's also a lot of f**king around. I have used the previous mod chips but there wasn't much point as the new games required a certain firmware anyway. I understand that it's illegal and all that jazz but do they really have anything to worry about? 98% of Ps3 owners wouldn't even know there's a hack available for it, if they did they probably wouldn't know how to use it or what the point of it is. Sony will and probably already have released a new update patching the security hole.
  10. Have you disabled power saving on USB devices?
  11. Just sweated ironing a shirt. Being a woman is hard.
  12. I need to invest in a windscreen sun deflector thing. Got in my car this afternoon, and apart from 50'c heat coming out of it, I noticed a little bubble on the dash I just realised I may have run into you before, have you bought through Core Computers?
  13. Jax quickfit at Aspley has a nice selection of cars. Black 32 GTR there a few weeks ago, along side a white 32 gtr that looked like it had just been imported and a evo track car.
  14. I thought wastegate stuck open as well. But then again I don't have a big idea of this sorta thing. Just realised new sau layout is mobile friendly. Yay.
  15. I dont think this is the case anymore. The spot is slowly dying cause everyone is going to the other one on the south side. Imports are there every week. Occasionally one or two dinosaurs but its mostly commodores, s15 and gtr's. Was not aware of the glorious/nebo runs.
  16. Another busy day in the office. Havent been given anything yet and waiting for the team leader to arrive. From the sunshine coast.
  17. Another +1 for fat pipes at kallangur. Was definately straya day today, fckn hot and lots of bogans. Not looking forward to the commute tomorrow morning, hopefully everyone is too hungover and stays in bed a bit longer.
  18. Yeah I think that's about right. Silver r34 gtr on hamilton rd in bridgeman downs tonight. Frothing at the mouth.
  19. SShhhhh. My solution to everything is reformat.
  20. Seeing it was over 2 years ago, you may no longer be covered under warranty. It may not be that the product is faulty but there's something has come loose and it would require someone to get in there and have a look. Not exactly the same field but in the computer store I worked in for a while there was a 7 day warranty on labour. Might want to check out the invoice and read through the fine print, might speed things up for you a little and you can take it to someone else who will answer your phone calls!
  21. I don't mind the whole 2 weeks in arrears thing. I just wished I knew about it before hand so I was able to save a few dollars for the next few weeks. Missus got paid today so that's a win and I still haven't been paid for last week at the old job so I reckon with living off sausages on bread or going to mums for dinner I'll be right.
