I have heard of people going to engineering companys like fitters and turners or something and getting them to slot or drill the rotors. If it was an EL or something it would probably fit. You never know though. Get paid weekly, but it's backed up 2 weeks or something. So at the end if your contract ends and it isn't renewed then you get paid for 2 weeks afterwards if that makes sense, because there's no holiday sick or public holiday pay. Somehow it works out. I don't know. I don't really have an exact idea of what I'm doing but from what I gather it's less work than the computer store, but generally the same type of stuff just handling some giant companies and support to 2000+ people in total. Are you in IT yourself?

I have the same type of rotor but they're designed for coons, you can get the Ba/Bf ones for around 370 from Hiro. They would probably fit back to an AU since the use roughly the same hub assembly. I'm sure with a couple of taps of reassurance you could Nissan ones on there though! First day at new job today. What did I do? Nothing. Oh wait, I added someones user account to the Administrators group and that's about it. Shit story about being a contractor is they pay you in arrears, so I have to wait another 3 weeks until I see some dollar dollar bills yo.

Wait till you see a 33 GTR screaming past you, crouched down on all fours on the highway. Not everyones cup of tea but they have a great street presence. You said you're looking at a 34 GTT. This makes me think you've got around 20k to play with. My advice would be to save another 5 - 10k, buy a 34 GTT and spend the rest on the things you'll need to fix up, insurance, alarm and a few mods. You can't compare the 34 GTR and the GTT, hell you can't compare any GTR to a GTST/GTT they're worlds apart. The GTR's attract more attention but provided you've got insurance and a good alarm system in place and it's in a safe neighbourhood you should be okay. Having said that, if someone wants to steal it, they will there's no stopping them. EDIT: I should also mention that the maintenance and spare parts costs of the GTST/GTT's and the GTR's are miles apart. If you want something you can drive every day and all you want to do is pay for the petrol each week and occasionally tires then buy a GTT.

Lads Anyone go to Lakeside yesterday? Went out for a few hours, saw all the cars but standing in the sun being roasted like a lobster got old quickly. In other news, I managed to get myself a new job. Contracting for level 3 support! Win. Only issue is I'm meant to start tomorrow and they still haven't sorted the paperwork out :\

Those of you who have used your PS3 as a media server, check this out if you haven't already. http://ps3mediaserver.blogspot.com/ I have been running this from my acer home media server over wireless and have had flawless playback. I use Netgear wireless N gaming access points however, so you may find that it will be a bit slower for you if you're on wireless.

I think my friend has been scammed by someone on carsales for his 33. Too early to tell at the moment but I guess we'll wait and see. Basically, we put the car up on Saturday for 8,800, someone called him this morning and says I'll buy it for 8,500. Mate has agreed. We received a payment notification this afternoon for 11,500 followed by an email from this guy saying he's going to organise for the car to be picked up by a logistics company who's head office is in malaysia. He went on to mention something about Western Union which is what caught my attention. It also raised alarm bells when he's deposited 3k for the shipping when you would normally think they would organise it themself and pay over the phone or something. The dude reckons he's in the navy and is buying the car for his missus. Oh well, time to play the waiting game I suppose. EDIT: Called PayPal this afternoon to check if there were any pending payments. Nothing at all. Hopefully noone shows up here with a flatbed asking to take the car.

Fark. You're not going to get much around that price my friend. Autocad is pretty intense and since you're after something with 2 screens as well you're gonna need to set aside 2.5k for a half decent one. Here's something I'd reccomend, which would keep you out of trouble for a while. CPU: Core i7 950 Mainboard: Gigabyte ga-x58A-UD5 Memory: 6GB Kingston DDR3 Hdd: 2x Seagate Barracuda 1tb SataII Optical: Lite-On Blu Ray IHOS104 Video: Gigabyte Radeon 5870 2GB/850mhz/DDR5 OS: Windows 7 64bit Thats around 2100 with 100 for me to put it together with a case and an antec psu. Then you add the screens 2x Samsung LED 20" $450 This is a rough pricing though, so it may end up cheaper than what I've put down here but yeah if you have more money to play with I'd have a bit more leeway in parts etc.

Epic thread revival time. Didn't want to start a new thread so I thought I'd post here. Working in IT in QLD at the moment and two close friends are moving back to WA and have been trying to get me to go over with them. Wondering if anyone here is a part of the office side of things and knows a bit about the IT structure over there and whats needed to get in. My friends have worked as drillers there beforehand so they figure it will be simple for them to get a job. Any help is appreciated.

Morn. Can humans learn to think with their head before whinging about something? Hi, you came out to my place yesterday to hook my printer up to the wireless and now it's not printing. Are you connected to the wireless network? No. Connect to the wireless network, then try to print. .... ...... Ohhhhhh.
