  1. Yeah mang. My friends car is the horrid silver 33 with a shopping list and a "GTR" spoiler. You've probably seen him around Albany Creek/Aspley/Chermside. Stock White 34 in at Portabella's tonight in A/c.
  2. Please don't remind me how much I hate virus removal. Isola, what sort of amps/guitars do you have? Currently rocking the epiphone les paul and some shitty fender acoustic. And before you flame, epiphone aren't that bad of a guitar!
  3. White 33, despoilered with a nice kit on it in Albany Creek this afteroon. Seen the car around a few times before, looks hawttt.
  4. I thought pro street was pretty good?
  5. 217 minutes left until the computer I'm working on has finished copying all it's data to another drive. sigh.
  6. Min733 at chermside today, i foubd myself driving past a few times just to have a look.
  7. Top of the mornin' to ye. I usually go to Jay Jays when I need jeans. They last forever and don't cost too much either. I wear jeans a lot too, it's only when I'm working on the car that I'm not wearing jeans. Isola, did you check out those few songs I recommended? btw, wtf does Isola mean anyway?
  8. The new Parkway Drive song - Sleepwalker Had the pleasure of sharing the stage with them a few years back along with IKTPQ. Bury Your Dead, not sure whether I like them or not. Sure, they've got some great songs but it seems everything they've done has lacked something. I'm not sure if you're into the more hardcore stuff but I've recently discovered Sea of Treachery. I feel I'm inclined to recommend this song to everyone I know because it's still got to be one of my favourites over the past few. Now, it might seem pretty brutal to begin with, but just listen to the entire thing, it's worth it. Between the Buried and Me - Mordecai
  9. The R33 GTR 4 Door done by Autech? I'd be interested in purchasing an Aristo, I really would. I wouldn't consider putting power into it though. Could you imagine how much of a dog that would be to drive? Especially since it's intended to be a VIP/Cruiser car. Obvious things like small boost increase, i/c etc would be required just so you have that little bit extra. I don't know shit about exterior mods but as long as it looks clean and nice, sure.
  10. Oh, I thought there was a watered down which was basically just a track day at lakeside thing?
  11. Tell her to get in the kitchen and make me a sammich. Also a beverage, so I can put it in my cupholder.
  12. Yeah, look man you can't polish a turd. Being on your P's makes it hard, you can't do an engine conversion or a turbo conversion or anything so you can't actually make any real power at all out of it in your current situation. You can buy S13's for around 5k with the basics - I would spend any more on buying one than around that figure, simply because they've all been thrashed to death. How about you keep your car, perfect those driving skills and save a shit load. Buy a nice S15 or something when you're off your p's. Say you've got 3 years to go, you could probably get a GTR for mid teens. And yes, the skylines were sports cars - they were introduced at a sports car price. That's why a lot of the younger kids don't understand why the new R35 is so expensive. EDIT: I noticed someone mentioned the excel racing series, contrary to popular belief, the excel racing series was pretty much introduced so that someone with not a lot of money could go racing. There's strict rules on the modifications done to the excels, hell I don't even think you're allowed extractors.
  13. Think of it this way: RB26 > RB25 > SR20 > Aids > Cancer > RB20
  14. I have a particular method of washing the engine bay. 1. Cover up pod filter 2. Start by spraying the outline of the engine bay - so from the top where the windscreen ends and the engine bay begins, going across to the sides next to where the battery would be and where the pods are, then across to the bottom. Think of it as drawing a square around your engine bay. 3. Fill in the square
  15. Saw a R35 at the shell servo in Aspley on Thursday night Blue R34 GTR heading into the city last night - sounded hawtttt.
  16. ^^ I'd say the lawn-mower performance from the engine has something to do with not spilling it.
  17. If they are a removable part then I'd say most of then would have been lost over the years. Most of the ones I've seen just have the square recess thing with a little lump in the middle of it.
  18. Imagine the insurance on something like that. Actually, I don't even think anyone would touch it.
  19. Yeah, I have a specialised fuse 3. I don't really ride it anywhere, I put it in my car then take it somewhere and then ride it, even then it's just over a couple of jumps then i sort of sit there and have a smoke and wait for the other kids to go. Hangin' out at the bike jumps smokin' cigarettes with all the cool kids yo.
  20. Mum used to own a e46 318i - 4 banger. To be completely honest with you, the car isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sure, it's got leather seats and has a nice interior but the ride is shocking, theres a fair bit of road noise and it doesnt have much go in it at all, especially when you've got passengers. She ended up trading in for a Mazda 6 - 4 banger again. Much better car, doesn't carry the BMW badge but it's still a nice car to drive, has a better ride than the bmw and in the hatch model there's a bit of road noise but less than the e46 had. The mazda has all the same features the bmw had anyway, and if anything they were more refined. Never had one problem with the car - and I've thrashed it a fair bit when my car was getting a gearbox reconditioned.
  21. I just really love 33R's in silver, that's all. My subaru liberty had cup holders, but you had to slide them out and they could only hold a can of coke and that was about it. you couldn't even fit an ice break in there! My current barge has cupholders, but they hold my ipod and change more than anything.
  22. GTR owners - how much do you spend on the car in a month on average? Remember that alot of the older people consider the skyline as a hoon car. It's got a turbo and it's loud, so it must be for burnouts and street racing. Friend of mine has quite a nice 33 and everyone around him gives him shit about owning it. The skyline really is an enthusiast car, and you've gotta "get it" to own it.
  23. They have a cup holder?!?
  24. S15. It's a two door, quite nice looking, it's a nissan - what more could you want? While it only has a 4 cylinder engine, its a bloody good engine and now that they are becoming more popular and affordable performance parts are popping up everywhere. A friend of mine has one - it's a nice car to drive and with 350+ hp it's got a bit of go too. The only problem is his hasn't been tuned correctly and the fuel consumption is well... shocking. 16l/100km?
  25. If we take the GTR guise out of all of these models. Does it change your views? The most common comment in here is "it's still a GTR" the differences in styling, performance and features greatly differs when you consider the GTS-T etc platforms.
