Hey guys, I want to sell my rb25dett neo motor (no gearbox) I have decided to put an rb26 in instead. the bottom end of the motor needs rebuild (bearings, crankshaft and possibly cylinders) but top end is fine. at this stage the engine is still in the car and will be taken out next week some time. it has 100,000kms on it and has been taken care of. failed oil pump caused the problem. engine still starts and runs but there is the clonking noise that is associated with crank. will not come with intercooler, afm or turbo. looking for anyone interested with offers over $500 pm me for more info like i said i will have all info on exactly what will come with the engine within the next 2 days, just a show of interest at the moment.

its definately a bearing mate, ive had same problem and now i need a rebuild. if you havent already had it checked, stop driving and get it done because rebuilds aint cheap..trust me lol!!!

has anyone ever heard of a fairly stock neo turbo engine needing a rebuild a few months after a new clutch being installed. I only a few months ago put a nismo coppermix clutch into my skyline gtt neo and a few weeks after the clutch was installed i could hear weird clonking and clicking noises whenever i applied the clutch. a couple months later and the mechanic who installed it is telling me that my engine bearings are gone and my engine would need a rebuild due to the stress caused on it from the spun bearings. before the clutch was installed there was not one odd sound out of the engine or gearbox and the car always drove like a dream. I always service it with good synthetic oil quite regularly and check to make sure everything is good. In my last service which was a couple weeks after the new clutch was installed i found little metal pieces in the oil which i have never seen before (and I always check the oil for anything unusual). Can a clutch not installed right cause this to the engine? or could the oil pump have been clogged from these little metal pieces that would have come from the clutch, as when the clutch was taken out to be inspected it was heavily worn and only after a couple of months. I never take it to the track or thrash it. its a weekend car and i baby it all the time. I need help with this because im finding it hard to trust my mechanic anymore especially considering that i get all mu tuning done there and it would be reasonable to say that if then engine was on its way out due to a fault he would pick it up on a dyno check which i have done a few times.

Hey people, I have 3 BOV's for sale: 1 genuine greddy type rs BOV plumb back type (good for gettin rid of defects and cop attention) $200 ono 1 replica greddy type rs BOV plumb back or atmospheric $50 ono (I bought thinking it was genuine but when i received it was fake) 1 stock r34 BOV $20 ono The stock BOV and genuine greddy are in good working order but I never have tried the replica BOV. I have a plumb back pipe and vacuum line for the stock BOV but dont have these parts for the other two although they are very easy to get. As the two greddy BOV's are universal I have 2 different adaptors that I can give with them. One is for a skyline r33gtst or 34gtt but not sure about the other adaptor. I have photos up so pm me with offers or questions. Located in western sydney so pickup preffered but will post at buyers expense.

my r34 was confiscated back in november for three months. i payed 0ver $3000 in legal fees just to get a three week early release of the car and now have to go to court and defend myself against charges laid by the police alledging that i did a burnout. i know that i did not do a burnout and the police office knows also but because i was a smartass to him he decided to be knob. if i am found guilty i will have to pay inpounding fees of close to $1500 and a fine of $450 along with all other legal and court fees. just because i am a p plater driving a sports car and have a voice to speak out to the cops i have to put up with their crap. i was treated like dirt by the officer for no reason other than he was a jealous prick. i can not drive down my road to the gym without getting pulled over even when im shifting gears before 2500 revs. my acr is not even that worked. too much power is given to the police to make life changing decisions based on human emotion. there is no way anyone can say that cops are not bias against p platers. i think the only solution is to fight these new laws in court and on the streets through protest. i dont enjoy driving my car anymore because i have to always watch over my shoulder paranoid as hell even though i am not breaking the law. i even got defected and fined by a cop in a typhoon. he fined me for having fog lights on and when i asked why his were on he did not answer. something needs to be done.
