I've been down this same road and it's a nightmare, I remember.getting blasted for do an over kill fuel system. sadly my last resort was an upgraded alternator. it didn't help much. but I guess it's a learning curve and expensive one at that. Now my car just sits, move out and in my shop everyday even tho I like it so much, I'm sick to the stomach to drive it. I'm planning on re-doing the whole car. I'll go with a fuel lab variable pump next time. I'll spend a lot of time planning. of course I'll have to go with a Haltech ecu to manage it all. thanks for your thread. it was interesting to read.

hello guys and seasons greetings, here is where I'm at, I cant seem to post photos, using my cell on this app. I finally got all my parts from RHDJapan. I got a 0S88 a new clutch and cross member. I'm wondering if my clutch fork and release bearing from my old r32 box will work as it's the only thing that's missing, new I got a new r33 gear box but it came as a pull type setup and I'll be using this in a r32 so this won't work as all my clutch kits are all push types. I do notice some spot for some bolts on the opposite side for a push slave that I can tap, but the next issue will be the part of the box that the release bearing slides. this part is with a pin that holds the fork (pull) can I use the one from my push standard r32 box? this will allow me to use the r32 push type fork and ball type bolt the fork floats on. I also would like to know if I would need anything else I'll need to use for this os 5 speed gear set. this is a new late r33 box, and all I see so far not opening up the box so far is this for issue. I would post photos if the forum would allow me. but it's not.[emoji24]

yes on note 8 and yes the app this should be allowed as it's the only way that really easy to load photos.

I want to make the order From RHD japan as soon as possible so any help would be appropriated.

Yeah. I still have the Haltech ps2000. I found out today the hard way that I f--ked up. I was under the impression that that it was an anti lag launch control. After I kept on flooring it and only saw 4 psi. So I guess If I want boost off the line I'll have to upgrade the ecu. We all learn differently and for me it's a hard to drop old habits for new ones. Even though people beat me up for it. Over the years I've seen more and more car over here state side run Haltech ecus. I'll have to start taking the time to get familiar with the ecu, and just face up to it. I did get me rb25 running on it and it worked pretty well, but moved back to the power fc. Bad habits I guess. To get the car going hard I dropped the clutch at 9k. The thing was an absolute animal and the turn worked well at 14psi. It took that much rpms to get that turbo going off the line. I also run the ets-pro so all 4 wheels smoked, and gate opened up right away. None the less I want to launch the car at a lower rpm, but with boost as I'm only geared towards drag racing. I have a grudge match coming up Sunday. I'll have to run the fc for this. As it will take me some time to set up the Haltech. Is there any shops out there, willing to sell me a complete Haltech setup. Closed loop wideband setup as well even providing the injectors for 800 Hp. Along with a bit of advice and help seeing up injectors. I ask because I'll need another one anyways. I'm also looking for the evo to be able to use a strain gauge for 0s88 that's coming soon. Thanks again and sorry I didn't use the Haltech. There I said it. Help me make this car go.

Hello guys I just started up one of my build and tested it using stock injectors which I thing was fine for braking it in. I drive it and everything seems fine make good power, but like expected I can see I'm running out of injector duty. No big deal I have another set that are 850. And these are what I tend to run. But before I install them and take the car to get tuned. I decided to just pop in the pfc pro. To make sure it works. I uploaded my tune and cranked the are up. It all worked fine. After the idle was learned. I tried the anti-lag feature. I see it uses the ac to set the ignition cut so I set it to 5k, and floored the gas. I only got about 7 psi and I'm looking for way more than that. Keeping in mind the injectors are still stock. I'm just wondering a few things. 1. How does t a anti-Lag system get the boost to go even higher. Does it need more ignition delay. And how do I do that with the pro. ?? How can I get this PT 7675 going. I'm after 22 psi or so off the line. Attached I have a photo of the screen. Opps it's saying this forum has disabled media sharing. Why.

Seems like I can use boost as well to very the the pumps output. Thanks Ben C34 I'll check that out.

Seems like the controller for these pumps are inside. I would just need a pmw signal. The question remains is there some device that would convert a tps signal to a pmw signal. ?

Hello guys. My last fuel system I did was a total over kill to the point where I had a voltage issue. To much pumps in short. I would guess one of the best solutions would be like a fuel lab variable pump that has a multiple output range. I'm using a power fc and don't know if this ecu, would be possible to control one of these pumps. I'm also not sure if there is some sort of stand alone controller that could be used in conjunction with the power fc . If that's the case I'm all game for that. For now I was looking at a ridium surge tank with 2x walbro e85 pumps. That would feed two entry to a ridium fuel rail with a return to the main stock fuel tank. Overflowing surge tank would always stay overflowing back to the oem tank. I want to keep the OEM tank as of now I have a walbro e85 pump in the right now. So that would be a total of 3 walbro e85 pumps. I am planning on using an upgraded alternator but would prefer not to use it. Keeping the system low in voltage requirements and only upgrading the alternator as a bonus. Also I don't think the one e85 free flowing would be able to maintain the surge tank to the point of overflowing back to the main oem tank on full load. One solution would be to return to the surge tank and over flow to the main tank. (oem) the idea I had was to keep the fuel cool by returning it to the main tank. Staging the 2 supply pumps would also be an option. Damn the more I write this the better a variable fuel lab pump sounds. There has to be a controller that could use a tps signal to vary the pmw signal to the pump. To mention a little about the build it's a rb26 running all supporting mods for 900hp. I would like the fuel system to at least get close to that level. But I would be ok at 700. As I don't think I will push it that hard. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Suggestions on wheels. R32 GTS4
MJTru replied to MJTru's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I'll look around for some wheels for now I'll try the r32 gtr wheels. After all I was lucky enough to get a mint set. Nice to know there 8s +30. I didn't know that. But I'm sure there marked somewhere on the rims. I took a look and the rear could fit some wide wheels I'll post up photos I tried on of my r33 gtst wheels and it sticks out in the rear just a bit But if the offset were higher it may clear because there was like an inch and a half left on the inside before it touch's and arm. None the less it's not what I'm after. I'm looking for a square stance. And the 9s may me my choice. At 9s I should look for +45, damn that's up there. You guys think 255 will fit with a 35 side wall. Better be safe and go 235/45. -
Hello guys it's been a pain painstaking year and a half, and I'm now almost finished my gts4 project. All my mechanical parts are almost done and I'm soon ready for pain. I'm interested in know what wheel size and offset do you think I should go with. I have a set of factory clean r32 wheels that fit the car well and there super light, and I like that. But now I'm thinking of a set of good Japanese light weight wheels that obviously look great. I like the concave look. I really would like for the wheels to be a good size, and the tubs are rolled already. I just don't know what size and offset would work, as this car is a bit slimmer than a gtr. I don't want to run no massive negative camber. I'm looking for 18 x ??? Any help would be appreciated.

No it doesn't matter. All I have here is right hand drives. It's not the state's I was just referencing to how close it was. Right hand drive cars are allowed here. Isn't the US cars/modles have emosion control that robs power.?

Hello everyone. I'm thinking of buying me a r35 gtr. I'm not to far off the coast for Florida and my biggest decision is to buy a US one or a JDM one. The little I know and from looming on YouTube is the JDM ones have a speed limiter, but I can buy a limiter elimanator from hks or a few more vendors. What would you guys recommend.? Like what year is best. I'm not looking for the older set, but if I'm right the set from 13 to 16 I believe they come with about 550 hp. I really don't want to do anything to it but just some simple bolt ons. Is there anything I should know about these cars before getting one.

I understand once you change the sensor into a different pipe it would be off if it's not centered and so forth. But it's way better then just dropping it in a 4inch pipe where the different is much greater. If dimensionally it sits in the same pipe just aluminium, I can see it being off that much. Much like any air mod I expect to retune it.

These are the filters I use.

I have these filters and have always run them. Over the years I have done so on all my motors and service then on all oil changes. It's became second nature now.
