  1. Hmm Just had a wierd idea again. Is there a way to activate the attessa system using a button and let it go after the launch. Just to have it in full 50/50 split off the line. ????
  2. This is the rod between the piston and fork. If i mod this to be an adjustable unit. Im thinking it can compensate for a worn disk. What you guys think
  3. Well i dont care for 2wd. Lol how does the r33 keep a preload on the attessa. So in sort your saying the nitrogen canister is what keeps the preload on the system. Or does the r32 has this canister as well. Can the newer system from a r33 (preload) be used on the older r32. ?? Just trying to get my head around the whole system.
  4. Ok. Lets talk a bit about how the r33 and r34 engage the attessa faster by preloading the transfercase faster than the old r32. Simply put i dont like the reaction time an r32 takes to engage the 4wd. Well lets approach it without using a ETS PRO. im just trying to get a grasp of the idea nissan had. Looking at the mechanics of the systems it looks all the same other than chain size and programming. How do they preload the system?? Is it as simple as a different pressure sensor on the hydraulic pump. So that it seems to engage faster because the line holds a set amount pressure rather than starting from lets say zero. This weekend im going to take the pump from my r32 gtr and the g sensor and install it into my gts4. Im going to launch it and judge the reaction time. Next im going to use and old pin that goes from the attessa activation piston on the rear of the box to the fork in the transfercase. Im thinking of making a custom one that can have the length increased in small increments. Im thinking this can manipulate the wear a bit. Thanks for the time you guys take to read my somtimes crazy ideas. But i was born thus way:D
  5. Im not sure if thats how it works i never used one. But how fast is the reaction in comparison to r33 and r34. I was looking at fullrace ets pro.
  6. See Nissan got a little smarter on subsequent models and they determined that in order for the ATTESA all-wheel-drive system to come into play faster once wheel spin is detected, the transfer case should be preloaded (with hydraulic pressure). This meant that as soon as the pump was switched on by the controller, the system would already have significant pressure to dramatically reduce the time taken to engage the front wheels. We're only talking about milliseconds here but anyone who has driven both an R32 and R34 GTR on the limit will appreciate the difference. I stole that from an article. Sorry. There most be a faster way to engage the attessa 4wd system way faster. This is like such a big difference its ridiculous. Some would say us a electronic torque split controller. Is it possible to do it manually for the purpose of getting a better launch. What are some mechanical ways to have it done?? I was thinking of a hand pump to engage the system with some kind of pressure release at a certain speed. You would have a hand pump with a gauge and have it fully release to do a burn out. Then pump it up for the launch. Leave the line and at a certain speed have a release vavle let the pressure to to reduce drag on lets say cars without the potential to rip the tire loose in all gears. Like mine. Am i crazy??
  7. Thanks i like the whole transfer case for 2500 usd. At that price i might as well do the Nismo conversation kit r34 complete box 6 speed and twin copper mix clutch and all parts needed to convert it. That price is 7500 which isnt to bad.
  8. Thanks mate at least this is a start. Im really grateful for this.
  9. Im really looking for r32 gtr part numbers for transfercase parts. Like the drive and driven plates. Better yet where to buy them. Thanks.
  10. Mate right now anything would helpRhdjapan wants part numbers to help. To buy the actual part would be best. But ill take what i could get. Fast thread whats that.??
  11. Hi i have for the past few days emailed RHDjapan. rktuning green line, and a few more looking for the part numbers of the actuall replacement drive and driven plates for my r32 gtr transfer case. With all these r32 gtrs out there im sure some are over 100k on the clock and needs a T case rebuild. There must be someone in sau that can provide all these parts ??? Thanks in advance.
  12. Ok so AG-Y just provides a service and i would have to send the transfercase there for rebuild and RHD japan wants part numbers
  13. Today i launch the car again and paid close attention to the front torque gauge and i noticed that it works at least a bit it goes to like 45% I would launch it and what i could say is that its not like the r33 gtr i have. If i power shift second gear i can feel the rear wheels spinning like crazy. But the car pulls. On a very very hard launch from a stand still it rips the rear wheels and the front doesn't spin up. The only comparison i have is my r33 gtr. The same launch would spin up the front wheels on my r33 gtr. I have a whole r32 gtr sitting here so after i crashed this gts4 im going to change the pump over the rear diff and change the g sensor. Im going to launch the car and look for any difference. how or what should i look for in a r32 launch. Should it spin up the front wheels like my r33. Both cars are at the same power level. Give or take 20hp or so.
  14. Ok ive been looking hard i found it on AG-Y. I have looked all over there site and cant seem to find there email. Im going to try and call them tomorrow or later tonight. I hope someone there speaks English.
  15. Where did you get the photo from mate. I can't seem to even find that on Greenline. I did send them an email.
  16. Does anyone have the part numbers from nissan for the friction plates and drive disks from nissan.
  17. I have sent them an email. Well after launching the car i can really say its no where close to how my r33 gtr gets off the line. Somthing is definitely wrong with the transfer case. Its doing something but not pulling as it should. Im going to pull it down and see whats up. I upgraded the clutch and drained the transfercase oil and noticed it was bark in color. Keeping in mind this oil has no more than 2000km on it. It shouldnt be that dirty. To add the electronics are working fine. It goes to full 50/50 split the mechanics just aren't doing its job. Has anyone used the kit from Rktuning before???
  18. Well for us, There is parts just here rusting away, The mechanical lsd like in the r32 gtr why not use it if you have it. For that matter use what we can from the whole r32 gtr. I do like the sound of a nismo LSD. >_>
  19. Sub axles is tge right name. Thanks GTSBoy. So if its different then yiu will need the axles and bearing hubs. Then its a done deal. We had a whole old rotten r32 gtr to pick parts from so i guess thats the easy way out. Parts needed. R32 gtr diff R32 gtr axles R32 gtr rear wheel bearing Thats it then it should all bolt right up.
  20. Oh. Thanks. Lol Piggaz i always liked your profile photo. My uncle always told me growing up. "You cant teach cops to sing you just upset the pig and you get mad" for years i didnt know what he ment. Now i figure its telling an idiot something that can help them when they think they know it all. Funny looking pig mate. :D:D
  21. Yes we did do this and it worked fine. Iirc we had to use everything from the r32 gtr. The shafts and the rear bearing hubs will need to be used. The input shaft for the diff will need to be removed and insall the original gtst one. It fits right one there. Just a matter of taking the bolt off and using a puller to pull it off and swap them around. We had all the shaft and everything. But i do believe that you can use the gtst shafts if you were to exchange the drive shaft cups and insert the gtst ones. Im just not sure if the splines are the same. Rickpr33 should have photos of the swap. Post them up mate.
  22. Hmm. Is it a solid hub. Or.sprung hub?. He has a clutch master 725 series clutch solid hub. He also races on a unpreped track. So i was thinking a super singal would work well especially if its a sprung hub. The shock of a solid hub is ripping the tires loose. And at launch he cant seem to ride the clutch. The twin plate he has is ver aggressive with the solid hub setup. I have a osgiken twin im will to trade. I'm willing to install his clutch in my gts4 rb26 powered and put the sprung hub os giken in the rb25.
