  1. Found it. Rb26 only has one oil restrictor. Damn. One is blocked off.
  2. Ben C 34 are you sure??
  3. What??? Mine only has one. So I'm wondering if the japs blocked one of the hole??
  4. The reason I'm asking is because I'm finally building a rb26. Im ready to install a oil restrictor in the block. But I notice that the block looks like one side is blocked off and I only see one restrictor. This block is years old. And I want to make sure I do it right. Thanks mate
  5. Sorry I'm trying out this new app. Well my question is very very simple. On a rb25 block I notice 3 oil restictors in the block. How many are in a rb26.??? Simple.

  7. I did send kyle an email with no reply as yet.
  8. Hi. I got a 6boost twin scroll t3 top mount manifold from Kyle at 6boost to fit a rb26 a while back. I would like to replace the stainless steel t3 twin scroll gasket but can't seem to find the same one that came with the manifold from Kyle. I got one from eBay but the holes are different and don't line up. Does anyone know where I can find these gaskets. Thanks mate
  9. Hi. I'm currently building a rb26 motor to install in my gts4, the old motor worked for a while and to finish up the project Im only waiting on a crankshaft from nissan and I still have to buy a extended oil pan from fab works. I do have one question to the arp main studs, I've been doing a lot of reading and some people are saying that the main studs, well one or two of them has to be modified in some way to clear the pipe that runs across the oil pan to the left from wheel. Just to clarify this is the pipe that leads to the front left drive shaft. This pipe goes into the front diff. So does anyone has photos or can write something that would help me to understand what needs to be done. Done.
  10. Ok. I finished up tracing all the wires today took a lot of time. I almost pulled out all my hair from frustration. But I finally got it all sorted out, and was it worth it. The car runs great. I really love it. It was worth all the pain. A rd28 swap to a rb20e was a full success. The only reason I did it was because I gad all the parts and all whole cars to make it work. I would like to say thank you to everyone that helped me or even tried. If i can help anyone with a rd28 swap to a rb20e please feel free to PM me and I would do my best to help.
  11. Thanks I'm looking for all the wires from the tcu. It would save me some time instead of having to back trace all the wires
  12. Hi mate I'm trying to find a tcm. (Transmission control modual) pinout. For a 1995 nissan skyline rb20e.
  13. I just down loaded the manual. But I can seem to find the pinout. I see that they are saying that some of these wires from the ecu goes to dt1 and dt2. This has to be my problem. Im so close. Help please.
  14. Hi im looking for a pinout for my 1994 r33 rb20e (auto) tcm. This is the computer that's by the drivers kick panel. ( by the gas pedal) I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find it. What I'm really after is I want to know where the wires from the ecu (engine) sends the signals and what signals they are to the tcm. I have the diagram for the ecu but there are some wires that just has an arrow going to "a/t control". Well that's all it says. I have just done an rd28 to a rb20e swap in my 1994 laurel, it was a lot of work but the car runs, but I notice the shifting is only at around 3800 rpms. In short it only shifts by rpms. And if I let up it just won't shift up at all I have to get to 3800 rpms. This is using the rd28 wiring loom with the rb20e tcm. Also if I just go in the gas hard the car stops making power until I let up just a little. I have a feeling that the tcm needs these signals from the ecu along with the electronic kick down signal from the tps. If i was to get the diagram I'm sure i would be able to figure it out. Thanks
  15. Sorry I forgot to say that I'm looking for the pinout tcm for a r33 rb20e skyline transmission computer.
  16. Does anyone have the tcm pinout. I drove the car today. But it's not shifting Luke a normal car. I feel some of the tcm wiring are mixed up. I'm looking for the pinout for a r33 rb20e . thanks again. I'll post photos soon.
  17. Many thanks mate.
  18. Hi. I just finished installing an rb20e in the nissan laurel. First I used all the wiring from the skyline that the rb20e came out of. It started up and ran good. But I had no lights and was missing a few functions. This was all after I installed fuel pump in the diesel tank and wired up a relay for the pump. I decided to remove the skyline harness to install the factory laurel harness, but before I did that I split the harness apart and took out all the rb28 (diesel) wiring that wasn't needed. After all that I checked all the lights and features I didn't have before, and they all worked. Now I can't seem to get the engine to start it just roles over and I have no power to the single coil wire. The only think I can think of is the inhibit relay. After tracing it I notice that the skyline harness has a wire coming from the a/t plug to the inhibit relay that seems to work by sending a ground signal to the only plug that wires into the engine harness. I think I can work it out but I do really need a wiring diagram for a r33 skyline rb20e ecu. I just can't seem to find the one with the 4 plugs in it. Can any one please help. Thanks.
  19. My i add that the mustang is running full stocker 346 with full drag suspension. And NT555 tires. I feel if i run my gtst at 18 psi i can run it down. But that's not my interest. I just want to launch the same way.
  20. That should be the link to the line up. Mustang vs gtst. Thanks mate.
  21. The pineapples are for the skyline R33 gtst. The power is about 420hp. It's not that much but right now it's just spinning up the tires. Even with the stock rear shocks and springs. I have also changed my driving style and nothing is helping to much. I'm looking at the titan supra for clues. I notice that it has to be real soft. With good shock dampening. To work. But do I need to also raise the front of the car as well or just the rear. I'm just using my old set up on my mustang as a comparison. Where the skyline leaves the line spinning the wheels I had way more power in my mustang with way more toque in the past but it just took of way faster. But the skyline is way stronger mid track. I feel if I can get the right setup I would love this car. I have the car set up with down graded s13 rear brakes and have a set of weld racing rims and 10x26x15 micky Thompson et drags to run. I just need help finding the ride hight and shock and spring rate to start out with. I'll post a video of a friend driving my old mustang (I sold it) against the skyline. At only 7 psi. A bit later. Thanks mates.
  22. I was hoping for a more detailed explanation. Trust me i started out with that. It's not going to be that good. I feel that the hight needs to be raised about 365mm from fender edge to axle and some soft springs. And start off with about +1 camber.
  23. I ment clean up those empty post for me please admin. Sorry everyone i have no idea what happened.
  24. Please keep those empty post up please I'm sorry ant know what happened
  25. Hi mate. I have spent a lot time building power, but now I know a lowered r33 gtst has no grip off the line. I had a mustang before and I had set that up for good launching the advantage I noticed is that the mustang had a solid axle and the geometry of the suspension was way better for drag racing. I think this is because the mustang always through out the whole weight transfer kept the tires flat. But with the skyline being lowered I'm already at a disadvantage cause my camber in the rear is off and I'm riding on the inside off the tire to begin with. Now when the car is leaving the line it flexes to transfer the weight and the rear wheels go even more off camber. More on the inside edge of the tire. Hence the car can't dig in. Does anyone have any experience with a good drag setup. Like the shocks I need and what Kg springs to use. Along with the hight from fender to middle of the axle. I'm also thinking of pineapples (don't know if they work) along with some arms to adjust the rear camber and toe of the rear wheels. Any imputs would be helpful. Thanks mate
