  1. I have always love the power FC just because it’s a vehicle specific stand alone, and easy to tune. I have Motec and Haltech PS2000 ecu's, but want the D-jetro model power FC. I tune them myself. yes mate the one from neugun. they on ebay to, and poping up all over slowly. were is Paulr33 he is a Power FC guru. lol come on mate keep it comeing.

  3. Hi i would like to know if anyone has tried the rb25det D-jetro Power FC as yet. (R33 RB25DET) 1. what is the MAP sensor limits 1 2 3 bars? 2. Can i still use the AFM if needed. 3. Is there launch control. 4. Can the old Data logger work with it. or software update needed?? 5. what do you guys think about it.???? thanks for your time and consideration.

  6. whats a cheap ebay turbo?. his car is stock man. I got my gtx3582r turbo from ebay paid 2300 usd, but does that make it a cheap ebay turbo. lol it will work man you just might have to drop the boost abit because it is a little bigger and has more volume. i have been through this, and actually used the turbo he is talking about on a friends car. i will make i video of it on a bone stock RB25det running for year and a half now with no problem. whats cheaper than a ceramic wheel lol. manufactures use the cheapest shit because there into making money first. it has to do with more thing than just using the word cheap keeping in mind there is a limit, but his car is not making mad power. like Jet_r31 said.

  8. get that old plug out and get some good plugs in there, that would be my first though. next the miss fire after hitting 14psi is normal, but not the least good. this is because your AFM is maxed out. This event could have also fouled the plugs out, if that clack isn't the cause which i'm sure is the problem. If the gaps were to big then the turbo would just blow the spark out at higher boost with your friends wategate. this event useally only happens after a AFM upgrade, and at high boost levels.
  9. take pics of what you saying; or put some effort into what you saying man, and if they fit; it wont run good unless you have a power Fc to make the nessesary changes to the injector settings ms cc or lagtime paulr33 has the best FAQ about these things. google Power FC FAQ, and read read.
  10. this will be hard man, and not werth the time. well for me that is. I would sell the power fc and get another one. like A d-jetro, but i never went the root as i hate ford. i just got a Haltch PS 2000, and that was fun learning to tune them, and they really don't support Knock which i don't like. other than that they are greate. Now after the years i lernt to get the GTR L-jetro to run a gtst using the two AFM, and i loved it because i was a FC guru by then (2x Z32). i just got addicted to ani lag. so motec haltech and D-jetro (no anti lag on FC) all the way. You need to change ECU you are making good power and need to swallow the pill and upgrade properly.
  11. i understand you man, get the ebay turbo run same psi and you'l be fine. these guys are motor heads and cant touch a skyline without thinking more power. from what i undersatnd your turbo is going and you want a replacement. The ebay one will work and if you running 10psi relatively the AFM starts to max out at about 14psi on stocky. so with the slightly biger one at 10psi you will be very very close to maxing it out. F--ck i mad a 25 live with stock injectors for 3 years at 20psi with 255 walbo pump cheap, Power fc not cheap, Z32 AFM cheap, HKS SSQ bov cheap, FMIC cheap, HKS gt3076 pro s turbo not cheap, good tune cheap, full exhaust 3 inch eaby cheap.

  15. only the first batch for the first 2 yesrs were like you say then they fixed it,but didn't want to be liable so they pulled out. that is the truth, i can provide manufacturing dates of bad batch if you really need it.
  16. http://www.ebay.com/...=item19d537ec9d take a look at the IC chip it is the same. but IC 15 is the igntion driver and you should have no spark when this is bad. a good test is to pull all the coils off and put plugs in them them remove cas sensor, then with the ignition turned on turn. then turn the cas sensor clock wise slowly this will simulate starting the motor, you should hear the fuel pump prime and injectors fire, but no spark. i can fix it for you if you like, and test it. Please send PM if you still alive. lol
  17. no you can fix it they are all wrong, you can buy that chip and take it to you local electric shop to have them replace it. I had the same problem mate.

  20. well i went and looked at one of my friends GTRs again and he has 275/30/19 on gtc all around the rim size is 19x10.5 with +12 all around they fit good with no clearance issues. Looking at it he has room for about an inch more in width he can go, but i would like to go 11 inch wide with the 285 set up. I found a silver clean gtr on line that has a 285 set up all around, but from what i hear i will hace to roll the fenders whitch i dont mind doing. Now i want the work miester s1-2-or 3 whitch ever fits. just can make my mind up on offset. i cant seem to find any R33 GTR's on line with then. Thanks agai mate keep it coming.
  21. you know after alot of reading, i got the shit to work good on stock injector. i'll kill one thing right now ATMO BOV's wont work, I vented them back in all was ok. well in short, after my tune it ran like this check the link the clutch was slipping too. so for all that dont beleive that venting BOV's outside will work on a AFM set up, and i did get some duds, Z32afm they were crap. They have no part numbers on them and i paid only 79.95 for them, i guess you get what you pay for. lol It will only work when i use my haltech PS2000 with Map setup, in short you must understand how nissan intended for it to work. ATMO works good with MAP sensor setup not AFM thanks for all your help mate. I'm ten times the man now, lol still only got two balls tho.
  22. well we were planing on contacting Tom Geller from Toyotas F1 team to put some rb heads in a liquid dynamic flow bench. Or some sort of high tech stuff he had mention to me. He went on to mention that these tools are needed to properly determine all these geometry issues you mentioned. well he lost me there, but it was not feasible for us to do this. being a close friends for year we had some conversations over dinner a couple of times and he went on to say that most porter just do guessing game, and waist money over time, given that they learn and get better results than the guys who just dont know the science behind the whole thing. He went on to say that the tools that are at toyota disposal made the guessing game more managable, wow i didnt think i would be getting into this so deep. were as you spend years grinding ports and basically learn tricks from one head to another you cant really atest to what digree and where your power is beeing gained. we then parted and felt as if any more from him i would have to give him a resume to join the team. lol we still speak once in a while. I always say you pay for a piece of mind or pay to win races either way you going to pay. So i spend most of my time making the money and everything esle can then follow good stuff guys thanks
