Sorry mate my mistake i checked with ams performance. the turbo comes in at 3800 and full boost at 4500 rpm. this is about were i got full boost when i checked on the road driving. As for the dyno sheet i cant find it. Next month I'm taking the car back to the states I'll get a new dyno sheet then. MY old turbo was gt35 and it was good for about 750 hp on Garrett web site. the ams gt950r spools faster than the gt35 i know this for shore. and its good for 950hp on a t/3 framed turbo that almost as much as a gt42r i think thats amazing.

I'm planing on building a drag skyline and was wandering witch sub frame bushing would be best for drag racing the SPL aluminum sets or the white line polyurethane set.? 3 out of 4 stock oem bushings are damaged on the sub frame. this may be a disadvantage when it comes to using the white line stuff.? or will it still work.? http://www.splparts.com/main4/index.htm http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail...t_number=KCA349 thanks cheers

I've been looking for the dyno sheet for my car, no luck finding it right now,but i do have a dyno sheet for a evo 9 the engine is a stroked to 2.2 with a fully built motor. http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-dyno-tuni...yno-inside.html its a good turbo a bit too pricey but worth it for a t3 framed turbo. what i noticed mate was after running gt30 and up turbos i had a slite lag in third gear. i did everything and could not seem to get rid of the lag. the bigger the turbo the greater the lag. at the time i was running a 280 l/h sard fuel pump. after changing the pump to an external pump that was rated for about 1000 hp, the lag was no more i think at those power level you need allot of fueling. I hope this helps mate, as soon as i find my dyno sheet i will post it. cheers.

ya the cars best hp was about 750- 748 to be on point. but that was using my friends heltec ps2000. now I'm back to the power fc with is limiting afm's. The turbo is a AMS GT950R. That day i was running 18psi, and the turbo maxes the afm out at about 26psi. The turbo comes in at full boost at about 3800 rpm's. so i would say not laggy at all. you car sound fast mate do you have any pics or even some videos of it.? I'm no longer running 7500 rpms rev limiter i moved it up to 9500 and remapped for it, and the obvious a whole re-tune. the car leaves the line much better with less hanging up. But it still has its traction problems. I'm going to put the stock coil in and give it a go. cheers mate.

I'm so interested in the c4 set up with trans brake and stally converter. Do you have any pics of your setup. can you pm me with the shops phone number and address. or website please. also how much did the whole setup cost you.? to answer your question about why i didn't do a big burn out is because i was told that were not on a real drag strip the normal road will damage the M/T slicks. is the true.? most race are on abandoned roads. one day i would like too get the cars in the 9's or 10's. After i get the car to hook good i will strip it down, no interior, roll cage and best of all that c4 your talking about. AMS performance over here sells the ring plate to fit a c4 on a 240sx. they use the front bell housing of a ka motor, now if i can remember properly the ring should be able to bolt a skyline r33 bell housing (Auto) on the c4 using the same ring. heres the link for the ring is it the same as yours. http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/Nissan-...s-products.html the most hp i ever got out the car was when i used my friends haltec ps2000 we got 748hp rwhp. but now I'm back to the power fc with limiting afm. about 26psi on my AMS GT950R and I'm maxed out. i also spray nos sometimes. yes mate i know it sound silly drag racing with the stock LSD. I had ordered one but the person at kazz couldn't find one for my car something about not having it stock and it will take about 4 weeks or longer. Today I'm going to change up the whole suspension. I'm going to use the stock rear shocks should i change the front ones to.? Now i will reorder the LSD should i get a 1.5 way or a 2 Way LSD.? i have couple of adjustable rear arms but there on some 240sx I'll check to see if i can make a set of them work on the skyline. does any one knows the spring rate i can try for drag racing.? also with pineapple would work better for drag racing polyurethane or the aluminum ones.? i have added a video of the car lunching. on the M/T tires. the other car a project of mine any help would be appreciated. thanks again mate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWjfjWIZpyU -

So i have a traction problem. i think this has to do with couple of things that i will list. I would also like everyone to give me there advice on getting this gtst to hook off the line. as of now the car is making the power but i cant seen to get it to stick. Most off the drag racing we do is not on tracks but on strips off abandoned roads, and we bet for money this car just wont hook and cost me a Heep load of cash. so instead of racing it like that I'm trying to see if i spend some money on the suspension and win back some money and don't let little sentra fwd beat me. The car is a gtst r33. after reading and asking for help on this site i got some drag rings 15x8 with 5.5 inch back spacing. i wrapped them with 26x10x15 M/T ET Drags (had to down grade the brakes ). the car has K Sport coil overs and for drag i think it may be to stiff. 3 of the 4 rear sub frame bushings are damaged. The car has a stock LSD. The stock rear camber arms were adjusted all the way out and if feel that the camber is still too much off. the car sits low, it may be to low for drag. when i used the drag rims and tires the first time i noticed a pattern on the tire 1.5 inch of the outer edge wasn't even touching the road (10psi),it still looked like new. the list is as follows. 1. 15x8 5.5 bs 26x10x15 i have these check. 2. need sub frame (pineapple) for drag should i get aluminum or polyurethane.? 3. LSD Kazz should i get a 1.5 or 2 way LSD.? 4. New coil overs for drag. old ones are K sport. can anyone list a drag coil over or spring rate for drag setup.? 5. Does any know if i can fit bigger tires on the rims i have now.? and if i buy new rims and tires with the brake down grade what's the widest can i go in the rear, even if i have widen the rear a little i will. 6. If anyone has any suggestions please help i will post all vids of the even. thanks mates. yes I've looked at the ones on the car and 3 of them are damaged is there any shop that you know of that will sell these bushings for drag (whit the right angle) and if i was to change the coil overs to a set for drag ones will that help.? if so what kind of spring rate would i need.? I'm not running a LSD will this really help with traction 1000 is for a good LSD is it worth it? thanks again mate. -
I own a r33 skyline reading from this forums i got a set of 15x8 with 5.5 back space, the tire is a 26x10x15 M/T. after getting these i had to do a brake down grade i used the 240sx brakes. does anyone know of any bigger size rims and tire that would fit even if i have to roll the fenders or even widen the body in the rear a little bit. How about suspension I'm using k sport coil overs, with all stock arms, these seem a little to stiff. Can anyone tell me what kind of spring rate to use for drag racing. has anyone use the ford c4 tranny yet I'm thinking of using this tranny because I'm close to destroying the stock OEM gear box gears are harder to sift and i hate missing gears. all 4 main rear sub frame bushing are damaged witch will work better aluminum or polyurethane bushings.? Can anyone give me a site that deals with drag skylines or even a shop that i can contact. I'v heard of people using the term pineapple what is that? in the drag world. thanks again mate.

R33 Gtr Powerfc In R33 Gtst Almost Finished

OK i check the fuel system its seems to be working the same way with the gtst power fc is. i would turn the ignition on the on position and the pump would prime for like about 2 -3 seconds and shut off. Now when i crank the key the pump would run. to eliminate all doubt i hooked the pump up to a switch and turned it on when i wanted. and the car still starts and cuts right off. with the engine off the sensor check shows me 0.48 for number 1 and 2 afm's this i think is working fine. I really do think its something do do with the injectors. Will the car run with high impedance injectors 1.60 lag. with a resistor pack from the gtr.? does any one know the final ohms that a r33 gtr power fc will be Happy with. 444cc/800= 0.555*100= 55.5% new correction input for power fc. 1.60 - 0.772 =0.828 new latency everything seems to be in rang here. any more thoughts would help mate. -

thanks mate checked and both are at 0.48 i guess this would be mv. i had the car running on a gtst power fc before and it worked well i'm just checking to see if i can get it to work as good as a power fc for a gtst i will have to use a custom trigger switch for the vtc control. has anyone done this before? is it possible paul did pritty good he shouldnt stop i'm trying to finish what he started pauls work realy helped me in this process. thank mate. -
i have a r33 gtr power fc in a r33 gtst the car starts but shots right off. on the handle held controller there is only one error. the air temp sensor is not wired in yet. I think the problem might be coming from the injectors that i have. I'm using sard 800cc high impedance 1.60ms lag time. I'm not using a gtr resistor pack on the injectors can this be my problem.? Anyone knows where i can find the whole c4 drag setup With all hardware. Trans brake, stall converter etc. the car will soon be making 500rwkw. whit nos. I'v done the brake down grade in the rear and i'm using 26x10x15 M/T. (R33 RB25DET) Now about the c4 trans should i get a 2 speed or a 3? What ratio's with a kazz 2way LSD. stock rear end gears. This is the first time i will be doing such a set up. will it be werth it.? thanks mate

What Turbo Upgrade Gt35r Vs Gt37r Vs Gt42r

thanks mate. how about the haltec ps2000 ecu. for $2300aud can i get something better.? I was looking at the AMS GT950R T3 so i can keep the manifold i have. the turbo is a direct replacement for the gt35r. and i can get it with the same GT T3 vband hot housing, on the cold side i would get the wheel billet so i can get a little more air from it, When you think about it thats about the same as a gt42r i just spools faster much faster. The GT950R is good for 950hp and claims max spool at 4500 rpms. depend on set up. and the smaller brother the GT850R spools even sooner. check this link for charts on turbo http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-dyno-tuni...wer-inside.html Any of you guy's herd of these turbo, has anyone tested them. ? keep this thread alive mates -
I just sold my gt35r. It had an GT turbine housing t3 in and vband out. It was sitting on a 6boost 44mm external gate exhaust manifold. OK theres the thing. I have a brand new gt42r All vband out with stainless steel housing from TEAL. I also have a 6boost manifold brand new with a 60mm external gate. Now the Motor is fully built. was Ruining 35psi. I was running a power fc, but I'm planing on selling it for a heltec ps2000 for rb25det. My question is Whats my best upgrade in the opinion of asu. should i get a gt37r or go back with a gt35r. Can some one give me some specs or set up that would be kick ass. I want about 800-900 hp at the end of the day at about 9000 RMP's. I will do my best to list all mods 1. Fmic 2. turbo you opinion.? 3. hks twin power 4. custom intake 100mm throttle body 5. Sard fuel rail and 800cc injectors 6. Eagle rods and pistons Stock crank redalanced and knife edged. 7. Greedy oil pump and Tomi race main and rod bearings. 8. Built head the works. to much to list 9.6boost t3 44mm eternal gate or 6boost vband 60mm external gate manifold for gt42r.? 10. splitfire coils and hks plugs. 11. All small stuff like External fuel pump upgrade. All lines regulators, boost controller, I have don my best to give a picture of my car I think i have everything in this motor to take the stock crank to its limits. I would like to see what the RB25DET can do. ANY HELP COULD BE THANKFUL THANKS MATES.

yes i'm in the states. i also tried the in a pipe method. it works, but i also wasn't to happy with the set up. (totally) ok with the rb25det when i change cams there goes the vct. so with the r32 gtr powerfc i don't have to worry about loosing the vct because we would have changed cams on the new set up witch will be a 9000 RPM motor. the other gain i think is running 2 afm z32 (30p00) this should take the max power output to 1000hp. is this a right.? another gain is the mapping for the r33 gtst powerfc only goes to 8000 RPMs. the r32 gtr power fc goes to 9200 RPMs. what do you think about the pros and cons for a 800+ hp set up? can the r32 gtr powerfc do the job on a rb25det.? ljetro set up how would i go about uising a ford lighting afm. wiring. and putting new values in the powerfc

i have a gtst power fc in my skyline r33. i'm maxing out my afm. i'm now building a 240sx wide body with a rb25det swap. one of my friends gave me a gtr r32 powerfc. so it realy cost my nothing. if i can run 2 afm i can get about 600+hp. The vct i can use a handa vtech contoller. and i have a map to about 9200 RPM's with the GTR's power fc. I'm planing building the motor all the way. i want it to be a 9000 RPM motor. this is why i think it's worth it. can anyone point me in the right direction.? thanks again.
