  1. 19x10. 19's on 34's look plenty big enough imo. but it's your car.
  2. Them radars and laser guns are very inconsistant. by changing lanes (ie: moving sideways or even going around a curve) it severely changes the output from the units. hence they cannot be set up on bends. however i watched a program debating the use of these by the police and defence in court etc etc. End of the day, chin up and pay the fine otherwise you'll end up paying more out in court anyway. unless it would result in loss of licence.
  3. you just pull the connector out and it sldies back on. the car will turn over bit it can't spark to start the car. not a thought it's a fact. done it when i'v left my car for long periods before. or do what my mate has done and rig up a starter button with fancy wiring i dont understand. you need to have the keys in before the starter button works but all his cables are the same colour etc so it's hard to just wire start it.
  4. hi m8, just out of curiosity why are you removing the awd system? are you drifting or racing? just wondering, cheers.
  5. yea the rule is under 15 $179. over 15 $279 and if you go over 25 kiss your licence and wallet good bye. Hill or not they will ping you! BTW if it came through as your speed was only 15 over it means you were actually detected going faster than that because they knock of a % margin to rule out any comebacks.
  6. you probably thought that because 33 steering is the least direct out of all the skylines and silvias. might make the car feel lighter and easier to handle. they revised the steering and made it feel more like the r32 when they developed the 34's. direct steering is better for racing and more assisted softer steering is better for a daily driver. What do you want the car for? just a daily or a leisure toy...
  7. just buy some carbon disks! problem solved. not like they cost much or anything............. oh and maybe get some asbestos pads to suit Like mentioned above though, never pull your handbrake on after youve being giving your brakes some stick. not only can it warp the disks it can also fark up your pads, boil your fluid and whatever else bad things people know of. pull in and leave it in gear. no worries
  8. nissan did engineer bugatti's engine... i'v also got an R31 out front with a rb26 on each wheel!
  9. if your going to leave it in a dodgy area or whatever just pop ur bonnet and pull out the starter motor plug, simple as pie.
  10. Buy the cheapest 32 you can find that's got decent paint work. spend the rest on an rb25, coilovers, swaybars and whatever else your budget can afford. imo 33's are the better car only because of the engine. 32 has a better handling and more direct steering. As for looks it's down to personal preference. i prefer 32 and 34 looks as i think they are fairly simiular tbh. each to there own. In saying that i had a drive of a friends S14 a while ago and that's only got 180rwkw and it felt very responsive and handled great (lighter car), until smoke came pouring out the back and apparently the turbo gasket had blown.
  11. i thought they came with a v8?
  12. I was asking with these 3 cars in mind because by stating that money was not a problem i'm trying to eliminate out the replies like 32 GTR engines are older etc etc (since i cant help but think what a 32 GTR with 34 engine and ESSA, upgraded shocks etc etc would be capable of in terms of performance) . I'm talking these cars brought back to new. and the 34 GTR is not an option because it's price is allot higher than the latter and in my eyes with no major benefit considering the car will be modified.
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeTGXMgh-qw...ated&search= Don't know if this is a repost but these guys are crazy! been practicing a fair bit though :laughing-smiley-014:
  14. So do you think that a GTST/ GTT could be made faster than a GTR for the drag strip? interested really because some of the faster cars wol;d have very little pressure on the front wheels anyway wouldn't they?
  15. Out of the 32 GTR, 33GTR and 34GT T with no expense a problem which would create the best car for track and occasional drag. please post opinions backed with facts! Cheers. ps, sorry i posted twice. should of been in here origionally

  17. a consistant one. anything that reads simiular pressures through all 6 is good. obviously excessively low would be you'd never come across a very low reading that is consistant throughout anyway.
  18. good for a first try. Main thing that lets it down is some basic things like the writing on the car not fitting the objects dimensions in the picutre (easy to do in photoshop) and also make sure anything you stretch, distort or create, you replicate the light to flow over the added bits. and if it's a whole new background try adding some colours from the background etc etc. depends how far you want to go. I normaly do quick chops just to have a taste of what things look like on cars.
  19. this what you wanted? or did you want the centre silver?
  20. infected flow has a greddy on his 34 which i assume, is the reason for the 'sunny' comment. since he now assumes he knows all the answers about this. I'm sure it will improve performance but i'm interested to what extent. I was told although they can be fitted to a neo they are less than ideal. hopefully he can add some dyno before and after to shed some light on this. if t works well i'm all for the idea.
  21. yea, neo head requires different airflow. that's why the greddy full replacement is not a good idea on neo head 25's. still hope a full replacement plenum comes out for the neo
  22. is it a complete plenum? or just a replacement top like the other plazaman ones?
  23. i looked deeply in to the 30 bottom end also. final decision for me was if you want a RB30DET/ DETT. save up and buy one made for the full rev range of the head. Personally id go with a stroker kit, and while you have the engine open do whatever else you can afford to the internals.
  24. be interested to know more about this plenum. i know there was issues with finding ones for neo's! more info would be gold.
