  1. I can second that. I moved to adelaide from middlesbrough (north east of england) about a year ago now. And aussies always complain when petrol gets over $1.20 heh. Just look at what you pay in england!!! when i left it was 97p which is like $2.30... Enjoy ur fuel aussies cause it's cheap if you think it is or not. Oh and when u get here you'll notice cars look after themselfs allot more (no salty wet roads) although i say this during the middle of a thunderstorm but this doesn't happen often.
  2. automatic is nothing on a circut. 4 door has softer suspension. XR6 as stated was not stock either.
  3. I rekon you know what the outcome of his answer will be
  4. so what's the deal with series 2??? They also have the red stitching... not sure about everything else.
  5. Is this car still for sale? If so how hard is it to ship interstate and does it require checks to be registered etc??? Interested if not much of a problem. and as far as cheap GTR's go here is one for 22k... but like i said who knows how it runs . That's why i'm not interested in it. http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/modul...hp?StockID=4232
  6. So is yours a 1997 or higher? just wondering if the website info is correct!
  7. I thought you could buy them muffler tip inserts for them exhausts? Not sure now. Just plugs in the back and reduces the sound down and you can take it back out when you want it non restricted! Anyone got any more info on this or if it's my imadgination i'll have a look!
  8. Link says car not available anymore? Where are you located and can i see some pics of the whole car? Cheers
  9. I don'y understand why there was an issue of taking the turbos out in the first place anyway? if id bought new hardware it would be going on asap. if the mechanic is charging to much for this job to justify the minor increase in performance just do it yourself, it's not an overly complicated job... Anyway lol this topic has been around a while and you have probably (hopefully) fitted them dumps by now!!
  10. guess silence is your answer lol. give them a ring and see how they sound...
  11. More info the better thanks!!! You say they provide a bar of your choice? so the bar price is on top of tht quote i'm assuming? Cheers,
  12. what were the main costs that didn't allow you to keep it?
  13. lol @ that comment... Cops probs wont know what it is half the time anyway. Only worry is if you get sent to defect station!!! but then you can just rip it out i guess. They would probably find a 'stealth location' boost controller if it went for an inspection anyway.
  14. Who said GTR 32's make bad drifters!!!!!!! Bad drivers make bad drifters. Just go watch some videos of Keiichi Tsuchiya AKA Drift King! He drifts GTR's awsome it's just that he goes twice as fast than a RWD car :laughing-smiley-014:
  15. Where did you get theat price and info from? do they custom cut the front bar of your choice? Question for you too URAS, Do you custom cut front bars for this purpose and able to send interstate? I'm in adelaide. The R34 GTR Ju bar rules.
  16. no, like i said thats the last thing i will be doing. obviously i'm after the power not the looks or i could get a gtt and do a simple gtr body conversion. GTR is a far better car andwith lots more potential than either the GTT or the GTS T. I have a list and the 334 conversion is literally at the bottom. i'm aiming for no less than 250rwkw before i even touch the body. and a handling kit will be in the equation before that too. cheers,
  17. yea Teazn, best idea. I'm deciding to combine them but not buy a R34 GTR. too much cash for my wallet. i'm going to go with a 33GTR and do the 334 conversion so i have IMO the best car! Beacause iv always loved the 34's front end and always loved the 33's rear end. And no one can deniy that GTR potential soares well over any GTT or GTS T for that matter.
  18. so if im thinking right the front bar and bonet is your choice. For example; if you want a gtr 34 front end you buy a 34 bonet and bar and if you want a GTT (no idea why) you would buy a GTT bonet and bar? when you say it's a bolt on affair is there actually much work that needs to be done? Since i live in adelaide and would have to get someone to fit all this for me!! any suggestions? cheers. Also URAS, with your front fenders on do the normal sideskirts for the car still fit? example if it's a GTR 33 do GTR33 skirts fit or do they now require modification to fit the URAS fenders?

  20. You can get 33 GTR's for as low as 22k. but unlike this one they arn't guaranteed to have been looked after and in perfect working order!!! Free bump because 28k for this is too cheap! you got any dyno results?
  21. Umn labour would be just like fitting a standard kit i rekon, do it yourself. Uras said the lights are bolt on and the kit from bee*r is a R33.4 kit so it's already modified and ready to go.
  22. Seems you can buy the whole kit after all!!!!! looks like a good option since it looks better than an R33 and an R34 imo. http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...e%2Br%26hl%3Den Front face kit 97,650 Yen front bumpers 81,900 Yen front fenders 115,500 Yen bonnets 292,950 Yen in set price Rear wide kit 75,600 Yen rear bumpers 103,950 Yen rear fenders 81,900 Yen side steps 243,600 Yen in set price B334R full kit Front face kit Rear wide kit 522,900 Yen in full kit price so what's that in aussy? like 3 grand for a 34 front end... or 5 grand for a whole GTS T widebody aswell, pretty good i think considering how big the difference is. Lights from a wreckers? not sure how much they would cost. R33 GTR with 34 front end = perfection

    Welding 101

If you want to buy your own tig welder you don't need to worry about getting a foot pedal because you won't ever need it if you're only welding steels. However if you need to do some aluminium work or softer alloys then you will need a foot controller as the metal heats up very quick and can flatten your weld, hence you need to be able to adjust the amps your pumping on the fly with the pedal. Oh and don;t forget you'll need a welder that will do both AC and DC if you decide you'll be using aluminium aswell $$$$$
