  1. Shuffle through:<a href="http://www.uras.com.au/" target="_blank"> </a> http://www.uras.com.au/ and go to the aero spec bodykit page and you will see the R33 range of kits. at the bottom i thought they had accidentally put a 34 image in the 33 gallery but nope. It's a 33 alright with 34 front wing/ bonet/ lights/ front bar and that would look awsome imo since it has the best of both. this one: Problem is that website comes up with code crap instead of infomation for me so i can't read what part on there it is selling?? Anyone have any other info on this 'package' or if it's a one off??????? I found this website with more pics of this conversion, it's called an R334. http://www.gtfactory.jp/poweredbymax/gallery/album03 sleekness of the 33 with the eyes of the 34.
  2. Andi that 34 is the best GTT iv seen i reckon. looks awsome, good job.
  3. Just found a website of another link that lets you compare cars. http://english.auto.vl.ru The model numbers changed only in the year 1997. And from what iv read the differences are as follows: 1995 R33 GTR 6 cylinder DOHC24 valve IC twin turbo 5 speed floor shift with OD 1997 R33 GTR Water cooling serial 6 cylinder DOHC24 valve IC twin turbo 5 speed manual Rear fog lamp Xenon headlight (Discharge lamp) Apart from the obvious two, xenon lights and rear fog lamp i'm not sure if the other two i'v listed are the same but the website didn't bother listing the full specs for one of them?? Since i'm assuming they are both watercooled and i don't have a clue what 5 speed floor shift with OD is?????
  4. I never realised there was 3 series of the standard GTR :S i had a quick look and found this info but that's just different named GTR's Not too sure how reliable this info is either... 1995-1997 (R33) The R33 was developed in 1995 as a successor to the venerable R32 model that Japan had gotten to know well. The engine in the R33 was nearly identical to the R32. It used the same turbochargers, and the same specification of transmission, although the syncros were made to be stronger. The base model R33 GTR weighs 1750kg. The R33 GTR launched in January 1995 with the base model GTR and the Vspec model. The Vspec mode weighed 10kg heavier, and had sportier suspension resulting in lower ground clearance. The Vspec also featured the newer Attesa-ETS Pro all wheel drive system, which included an Active Limited Slip differential. The Vspec model also included a four wheel independant channel ABS braking system. At the same time as the release of the R33 GTR, and GTR Vspec. Nissan released an R33 GT-R Vspec N1 model. Changes on the R33 N1 model are similar to the R32 N1 model. The car was made lighter, by removing the ABS, air conditioning, sound system, rear wiper, and the trunk carpet. The R33 GT-R Vspec N1 received the slightly revised R33 N1 engine. A special edition R33 was released on November 3rd 1997. The car was called the 400R, with R standing for Racing. Developed with Nismo, it featured an overbored RB26DETT engine, the RBX-GT2, with polished ports, an upgraded exhaust, composite parts, and a more free flowing turbo and intercooler system. The car developed a staggering 450 Horsepower, and allowed the car a top speed of over 200mph. Info from: http://www.answers.com/topic/nissan-skyline-gt-r I like how the v spec gets ABS then the v spec n1 gets abs removed. why add it in the first place !
  5. Thanks guys that cleared it all up for me.
  6. The looks of the car are at the bottom of my priorities (both look awsome and have there strongpoints imo). i'm more intersted in finding out which has the best base for performance/fun/daily driver. and if the 34 has a better designed chassis the 33 can never match up to that (i will not be fitting roll cages). At this stage i think a top performance factory built car will always win. i do not believe the 54% stiffness increase could of been warranted so much. Also is the fact that to get a GTT/GTS-T moving at better performance, major mods need to be carried out. this isn't a problem untill the boys in blue decide to check your car out and send you to regency... At least a GTR comes stock with basically all the performance mods that you would add to a GTT. As for the 'fully sick' bodykits, i think a good bodykit fitted correctly doesn't ruin any skyline it's when you dump the suspension down so low that your wheel sinks under the fenders that it looks fked.
  7. You just popped up one of the nagging stats about this decision. Because i' read the 34's chassis was made 53% stiffer than the R33. And R33's are already stiffened up from the 32 so i'm not really sure if all that added stiffness will make much difference. plus i know the GTR of ANY model is stiffer than that of a GTS T/ GTT. I was talking to a comp drifter last night about this and he rekons the GTT simply because it's cheaper to mod and less things can go wrong etc etc.... but i'm still thinking GTR!! (he currently uses an R33 for his drifting) Can anyone clarify about the 33 GTR stiffness? people who have experience in driving GTR's would be the best reply!! cheers.
  8. So if you had the option of either for the same price. what would you choose and why? i can't decide which looks the best and i also like drifting and never drove an awd so i don't know how they go about drifting lol. But a GTR is a dam GTR!!!!!! Kit of choice personally for either is the doLuck kit. Quick link: 34 doluck http://www.do-luck.com/ni_sky_bnr34.html - Assuming 34 GTR and GTT take the same kit?????? HOPING!! 33 GTR doLuck http://www.do-luck.com/ni_sky_bcnr33_2.html HEELP!!!!!!!!!
  9. So yea, Just wondering what the differences are betweem the 34 GTR and the 34GTT since not much seems to be in it?
  10. hey do you make 4" systems also??? or plan to in the future. GTT
  11. Awsome car for the price! what power is it pulling????
  12. yea, basically. Which IYO is the best car for performance and which is the best car for looks. Best looker: Reason: Best performance: Reason: Easiest to mod: reason: I havn't seen things like the greddy intake plenum for the 34? not sure if it's available and i heard the 34 is a bit more sluggush etc. but it's a newer car with newer guts so i'm just interested to see what people think? i'v watched a few drags and the 33 win.
  13. first off. awsome car. awsome price too. i'm in adelaide and would be in a position to buy in a few months! it will be long gone by then i know. but anyone in vic gets a dam bargain if they get this car!
