I just picked up my R33 gtst, and after been in mates cars not actually driving them i can notice a diff that the R33 is much smoother
couldn't agree any better there about boost their like a normal car .. IMHO..
i know how you feel sim thing happend to my brothers car except he had a yellow one and some d$*khead poured a can of tyre black over it didnt think it was the art he was after

i use couriers please when i need to ship something, they have good rates and quick, plus from memory insurance is free upto $500, you will have to check that
ok so i guess that 130,130,125,130,130,130 is at the limit for a rebuild on a rb25det.

further inspection shows that comes standard with 9.1psi, think this test sits around 8.9psi so cant complain

well im doing the same thing, getting a new import just complied, and still taking it to my mechaninc to get it the once over, never know about those compliance as most of them do the paper work and send it off.
Your call just think of the pocket give em ya hard earned cash and could be up for more. Get a compression test too just to be sure.
Ill take a photo on satdie when i put a deposit on it, as this is all i can find wrong. Getting a mechainc to check it out monday and the yard said they know what it is from, all will tell..
Here we go again did a search and found out backfiring between gear changes.
Looking at getting my first R33 fresh import.
Took it for a testdrive and warmed up the engine to normal operating temp, and you give it a bootfull and your head learches forward like you hit reverse gear, and than wham ya head gets ripped back into the seat like whiplash almost. Dosnt matter what rev range you do it.
Sometimes it will do a backfire on aceleration and a huge cloud of black smoke comes out of the exhaust (still has jap fuel in it not sure if it is this).
Get this lifted the bonnet and found a hose 3/8 size lying their not connected to anything (around turbo area) could this be the problem??????, hope so as this is a nice car for the price and i got to see and drive before it was complianced and detailed (still had those hard jap tyres on it, pretty much straight of the boat).
