I've got the Dyno Comparison Tool going now... You click on the runs you want to compare, they get added to a list on the right, when you've selected the ones you want, hit the compare button and wait for the graph to load. You can remove items from your compare list by clicking them in the right hand list. I've set the maximum runs to show at one time to 3, we can increase the limit if people want.

Strange, which email are you using? levibuzolic[at]gmail.com should be working. Might be your mail server/ISP. Otherwise try levi[at]loudphotos.com or levinet[at]iinet.net.au or levi[at]levibuzolic.com -
Skylines & Silvias Wa Official Members Cruise - December 2009

Also, sorry the editing isn't spectacular, was in a bit of a rush to get them finished before bed, and I haven't got my new version of Lightroom 100% sorted out yet. -
>> View The Gallery Here << Here's all the images from today's SAUWA & Silvia WA Cruise. Was a great turn out and an awesome day -- got some decent shots and Steve (esemte) got some great in-motion pics out the passenger window - so grats to you lucky few who got to be driving next to us on those few multi-lane sections. If anybody wants prints, I can get A2 matte poster prints done for $15 each (delivered or pickup). There's a few group shots (which aren't spectacular) that I took that I haven't edited yet, so I'll get to those tomorrow or Tuesday.

Will have it so only 2 or 3 cars can be compared at one time, and you can just select from a list which cars you want to compare.
-
Heh, well the graph is my before tune and after tune results... except I've changed a bunch of stuff since then so I reckon I've undone all me good work. Maybe I'll just take a picture of everybody's sheet - I can probably map out the data faster from photos. We'll see how it all goes.
-
Well I'll be bringing my camera, so there's no reason why I can put up a photo for each car. Would be good if I can put up a pic of each of the dyno sheets because my graphs wont pick up on the finer details - i'm only putting in about 10 data points per graph and then using some crazy maths to interpolate the data up to ~40 points. So if I can put a photo of each person's graph that will let people see the detailed graph if needed. I wonder if the Dyno Dynamics put of log files - if they do, I could plug the raw data directly into the graphs (which would be a lot quicker) and the digital graph would be even more accurate than the print-outs. Anybody know much about the dyno software?
-
I've just put together a demo of the dyno graphing/comparison thing. Still need to do some sort of interface for selecting cars/runs to compare, but hopefully this'll give everybody an idea of what I want to do with the data. http://dyno.sauwa.net/demo/

Hey Paul, if there's an extra spot left - I'll take it for my friend (non-member). His details 'esemte' VR4 Galant

Awesome, will put the money in at lunch. I was thinking I might do up an interactive/comparison graph for everybody's power/rpm graphs if they're interested. Would it be possible to get a second print-out of everybody's graphs? Or I can just wait until afterwards and get people to take photos/scan their graphs and I'll input all the data.
-
Dunno if I'll be there shooting this time, still thinking about it.
-
Ahh stuff it, mind if I get in on this too? Would be good to have an updated set of graphs to see how wacked out my boost curve is. As soon as my name's on the list I'll send the money through.

Completely normal for a lightly modified skyline, with some light taps of the accelerator on deceleration I can get some decent backfires. Under normal deceleration mine doesn't make to much noise, but because I always hell-and-toe to match RPM when changing down gears it's pretty typical to hear me pulling into slip lanes with a loud series of put-pop-pop-pop-put-pop-pop. On cold nights with a well timed gear change it's not uncommon to get a decent "fwop!" kind of noise as the fuel in my exhaust ignites.

I did a good 2,000km of driving in the skyline over 3 days earlier in the year for the WA Rally Championships (photographer fun). Went Perth to Busselton (then beck and forth between Busselton and Nunnup rally stages for 2 days) then all the way down to Albany and then back up to Perth. Car handled it well and never had a problem finding 98RON @ BP. This was with just 2 people in the car though, I imagine the 2 in the back would be pretty cramped and deafened (if your exhaust is a little loud like mine) by the time you made it home. Also, in the Skyline, we easily managed over 600km to each tank. Seems to really thrive on the highway, even with the 'open speed limit' sections.

That last one is awesome!
-
Heh, and you left big chunks of it all the way up to the hairpin.

Shame about your car dying Sam, was hoping to get some pics in for you. Sorry I didn't turn up till way later; girlfriend decided to come along, so I figured it was best to cut out the extra morning hours. WADRIFT Round 1 Photos

I'll be down taking photos/vids of a mate in a red TME Evo 6 and a Purple VR4 Galant. If I spot your car I'll try grab a few of you too. Anybody else going down, let me know and I'll try to squeeze you guys in too.
-
That's a pretty decent NA power figure, nice work.
-
Was more thinking on the inside of the fence line, I know I'll need a high-visibility vest, but anybody know who I should talk to? Maybe I'll talk with Sideways Sam and see if I can tag along with him for the day in exchange for some photos.

Misfire Question - R33 S2 4,500-5,500rpm
Levi_ replied to Levi_'s topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Fixed! So I bought a secondhand S2 R33 coilpack from Authentic Godzilla Performance and began the process of one-by-one swapping out my coilpacks. Turns out coilpack #5 was the issue (of course it wouldn't be 1 or 2 - gah!) so now I've verified that it is actually my coilpacks, I just need to decide on which coilpacks to get to replace the whole lot. So my options for R33 S2 coilpacks are: Super Spark Coils - $500 delivered Splitfires - $550 delivered Just Jap Racing Coils - $420 delivered (out of stock, no ETA) So, Splitfires seem to be the proven product out of the list, but they're also the most expensive. I haven't heard much about the Super Spark coils, I'd consider them but I can't find much in the way of reviews/info. JJR's are the cheapest and so far seem to have been a reliable choice, but they haven't been around long and I have no idea when they'll be back in stock again... Anybody got any opinions on the matter? -
Thanks, noted.
-
Yeah I'll probably be up there with the 300 2.8. Anybody got access to the business side of the fence at wanneroo? I've been on the spectator side for far too long now, who do I have to talk to in order to get a media pass?

Oh and he's right about the neons, they're allowed, but you need to make sure you can't see the bare lights from pretty much any angle. And they can't be in colour combinations that could confuse drivers in terms of stop lights/headlights or police colours. So generally no bright red lights on the back, no combination of red/blue and keep them mounted high enough so all the body kit/side skirting covers the lights apropriately. Or even easier, take them out and throw them in the bin and you'll get pulled over much less often and avoid the chance of getting a yellow from a cop who's "best judgment" is flawed in respects to the Australian Design Laws.
