  1. Ha, thanks; that would be me. Remember I came up to you today and said I had some good photos of you at the comp. The photos are copyrighted, however I'd be happy to do up some high quality versions for a magazine as long as I'm credited and can keep the company logo on there. Let me know ([email protected]).
  2. Here you go Sam, I'm pretty sure I have some more of you, I just need to have a look through them again and I'll put up any that are decent. Other pics from the day: http://www.flickr.com/photos/levibuzolic/
  3. I'm uploading the footage from the little car-cam now. I should have made an effort to try and stick it on everybody's car; maybe I'll try harder next time.
  4. Was an awesome day; I can definitely say I didn't improve my driving skills today, I was just having a bit of fun. It's was way too hot to learn anything! Nice work [ADORAA], you were getting damn fast by the end of the day - way faster than me, but that's a given! I'm ripping the videos off the little car camera now; some of them are pretty crappy, but there are a few decent clips worth watching I really with the damn thing had a wider lens on it; can't see anything in some of these clips.
  5. Awww, congrats guys!
  6. Damn those marks are pretty deep. Is is just the door? If so, should be reasonably easy to get resprayed, but it really sucks anyway. I just BP Ultimate for $1.32, I think it's the least I've ever paid for fuel in my skyline.
  7. To be fair, you can tell my R33 is decatted, the smell from the back is naaaaasty. But it flows like nothing else and sounds good too. Plus flames for the win!
  8. Maybe it's a violent warning! Damn that sucks man, hope it doesn't end up costing too much to fix.
  9. Mind if I ask what local tyre place that is? Interested in getting some 595's but can't find many places in WA that have them. According to Federal's site, there aren't any dealers in WA, which we all know is a lie.
  10. I have one, maybe two people outside the club who'd be interested in taking a spot if this goes public.
  11. As long as you don't go past 11, I'm sure it's fine! But seriously, as said above. I think it's really down to common sense and personal judgement. If you don't think you'd be able to hear an ambulance behind you, then turn it down a little.
  12. It's awesome to see everybody with the new stickers. My "SKYLINES AUSTRALIA" started to peel a little, so I took all of that line off and just left the "SAUWA" and the state outline.
  13. Too get your GTSt up to a good level (what I'd consider a good level at-least) you're going to be looking at: Manual Conversion - $1500 (+ HD clutch etc - $1000) New ECU - $1500 Fuel Pump + Injectors - $1000 HKS GT-RS (or similar) $4000 (taking into account the current dollar) Tuning/Workshop time - $500-2000 (depends on how much you do yourself) Boost Controller - $500 Exhaust - $1000 Suspension - $2000 Wheels - $2000 + tyres That's almost the cost of buying somebody else's GTSt that's already modded. But obviously it depends on what you have done already. Personally if I were in the same boat I'd get a 33GTR, amazingly I am pretty much in the same boat, except I'm holding off for a couple of years and I'll be buying a 34GTR instead .
  14. Yep just short of 4L. I tried Castrol VMX80 last time, it worked fine... but I'm thinking of swapping it out with Castrol Syntrax which is the much more expensive fully synthetic product. It's about $30 per 1L bottle at any local auto store.
  15. Woot, first car in motion on the video!
  16. Take the rubber boot off and have a look to see what's going on under there. Then just go buy a HICAS lock bar. But seriosuly, have a look for yourself, those boots are easy to get on/off... figure out where the problem is, if it's on the HICAS unit, you could get a lockbar and be done with it... or you could have my HICAS unit, it's in my garage.
  17. Traction control reduces wheel spin under acceleration. If you're not accelerating, traction control isn't coming to play.
  18. You will need an immobiliser, eastern states cars aren't required to have one, so chances are you don't have one in there yet. So go get one. If the car is low, it shouldn't be too big of a deal, mine only has 15cm of clearance at the tip of the front bumber and they passed mine without any issues. Make sure all of your wipers, lights, safety equipment works. To save you some hassle, just unplug your turbo timer or set it top not have a countdown. Hide your boost controller away if possible, it shouldn't be a problem, but best to play it safe.
  19. What tyre is that? Brand etc.?
  20. For a full set to be fitted, it's usually about $60-70 at any local tyre place.
  21. - Opening song from Gran Turismo 3Lostprophets - We Are Godzilla, Your Are Japan - Is there anything more appropriate while driving a Skyline? Incubus - A Certain Shade of Green - Opening from Motocross Madness 2 Modest Mouse - Float On - Play this after you've just lost your license or crashed your car!
  22. 4 X 255/40/17 595 SS @ $146 each = $584 Shipping: $220 Total: $804 / 2 = $402 for each of us. But remember you'll still need to factor in fitting costs. Though I have heard great things about the 595's and I'm pretty sure they'll be better than the MAV1's. So if you're up for it, I would be to, you'll just need to give me a little bit of time to get my money together. Not sure how much shipping is for just the 2 tyres, so it may not actually be any cheaper to combine the orders, I'll PM him and ask...
  23. Neo is super simple to hook up, the included instructions are more than enough. And you can drive it after you've put it in because until you change some of the MAP it's all still running normally. I imagine a boost controller is pretty easy to do aswell... Really all you should need to pay for is tuning the Neo once you've put the controller and the neo in. If you have any questions about putting the Neo in, PM me and I'd be happy to answer any questions. Putting mine in my R33 was very easy.
  24. Access Autoworks has Federal 255/40/17 595 SS @ $146 each -- http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ty...es-t205076.html You'd be looking at about $100 postage I would say, plus fitting. Give me a yell if you find any other good deals because I'm in the market for either 245/255/265 for my rears.
