From taking apart the door I’ve found that there still movement in the actuator. From the looks of it I’ll need to replace that. Can you just buy the actuator or do you have to buy the whole assembly including door latch and cables?

Well so far my boot and door lock don’t work but also my hazard lights don’t work ether maybe the BCM?

I bought a new battery for the remote same thing happens, I think it may be electrical in nature

I have tried both remotes and it does the same thing, the funny thing is that the driver’s side door lock does not lock with the lock button only locks the passenger side, but if I manualy push the lock it works? I'll check the voltage of the battery's just to be sure.

Hi all I’m having problems with my remote locking the doors and releasing the boot via the remote as well. First the boot went then the driver’s door. Anyone got any ideas?

Hello I'm after a 350z manual gearbox for a conversion dont care if it needs a rebuild or not just need one.

The E-brake relocation does not worry me in the slightest, but the TCU does. As for buying a manual ill have to evaluate that i think.

Hi I am looking at converting from auto to manual in the next few months. I’ve go some of the parts like the centre console and the handbrake and pedal set. Has anybody on this forum done a conversion or got a link to one?

Its been suggested to me that the lockout spring may be one of the problems. Thanks for the information mate ill look that up. Regards

I did not do the conversion as the car came from japan with the gtr box already, as for the acceleration Ive only compered it to a gtst r32 and it had far more acceleration then mine but it was lighter so the test was inconclusive.

Hi all I own a r32 gts-4 with a gtr gearbox until recently i had no problems shifting gears and i was not hard on the gearbox at all, unfortunately a couple of days ago it decided not to go into reverse for some reason and Ive been scratching my head trying to figure out how to approach the problem i do have a service manual for the r32 gtr which has gearbox removal in it and all the components listed. If you guys know any diagnostic ways to find out the problem i would greatly appreciate that. And by the there is no crouching between gears or shift noise it just wont go anymore.
