i just wanna take the stock internals as far as they can go safely and reliably i think. a turbo/injectors/pump will do that i think.

yep, im worried about the expense too. ive got the ecu and the other little bits and i was looking a turbos the other day and added it all up. i'll need 8grand to get out of it safely i rekon.

yo ben. how was your day? i just dont think nittos are worth the money. those bf goodrich's and dunlops might be worth looking into.

i rekon a 245 would go on. maybe a 55 profile to get extra wall 'bulge' if you know what i mean.

nup. let me know if you find out. im thinking about widening my stock rims for drag. out to 10" probably, i got rolled guards and my 9" rim has heaps of room.

huge revs james. SVO ford motorsport crank and 6 bolt main iron block. runs nascar A3 alloy heads ported to the max. he sells these heads for $30,000 (yes thirty thousand dollars) a set. carillo rods etc.... very expensive motor. he also does heads for a few v8 supercar teams.

i've got a mate who builds engines for pro stock cars. Ray Hon Fayeh (chinese dude - so funny seein the little dude in an xd doin massive burnouts, hes so happy when doing this). anyway, hes done a new engine config, quite awesome. Ford 351 windsor destroked and bored to 344ci. revs to 9200rpm and makes 700hp. early days.
