where you at platinum? what you need?

the RB25 has a pretty weak block compared to the RB26. If you want big HP I rekon you'd need a modified RB26 block minimum, N1 modified prefferably.

280rwkw = 490hp @ the engine. I've heard the RB25 maxes out @ 450hp on stock internals, so 250rwkw might be the limit for those pistons.

aiming for around a 280rwkw street car/drifter. I think the bottom end will hold up. :S and i need some decent coil-overs asap.

im already saving for fuel system and turbo and a better exhaust. its got a full 3" but its just not that well made. and i'll need a new dump/front after the turbo. thinking hks gt2835 pro s. My car will be teh hks beast

james: a mate of mine is doing it, hes got the gear but its up north about 400km at the moment so we gotta get it. i want them made a particular way so id rather wait and get jason to make em for me.

we did a really good job imo. painted the metal cuts, then put door trim seal on them all too. got the hole to the millimeter. looks the goods. its impossible to **** up really

we were working a commodore v6 engine at the same time so we did a bit of work here, then some there.... id say it took a solid 7 hours. if i had to do it again i could do it in 4 - 5 hours. the cam gear took 40mins, and i rekon i could now do that in 20... first time for everything!

just about to finish off my fmic and cam gear install. just gotta go and get a new cutting disc for the grinder, put the bar back on and im away. YAY!!! it was so f'king easy, why would you pay someone?

lukits01: did a little search and found this out. Q1. SARD have a few different type of FPR's, but they come in 2 sizes only (i think). That would be dia.50mm x 96mm and dia.66mm x 92mm. Q2. dunno Q3. I don't think the SARD FPR's bolt up to the standard rail, but i did see adaptors for them so maybe they do? -rb25
