Hey guys... I got done by the cops last night at Heathcote whilst i was on my way up to echuca.... They are going to report me to the EPA for noise polution which means ill need to take it to a EPA office for a check... Im not 100% sure if the cop will infact report me cause he wasnt convinced it was too loud or not.. If I get reported I really really need to borrow a standard exhaust system from the cat back... I dont have a cat and i dont want to get busted... Please guys help me out

well before the tune my car used show a knock level of 15-25 under hard hard acceleration. Today just hard acceleration it pulled way over 65 knock both times i did it... Not particularly pleased. I know from when I was racing my Formula 3 that not everytime you remap the fuel or ignition mapping that you get a positive result. Theres alot of hard work we had to do to sort many dramas out... We are talking about highly tuned cars here - not V6 ecotec commodore engines so im prepaired to play around and see what we can make of it

yeah spike im going to put it in the Melbourne trading post and see how it goes... I might even put it in Unique cars... I really love this car to bits, Its a great car so i would only sell it to a person who was going to take care of it... Selling to good home basicly.. -
just thinking about things... my car is knocking way more now than what it did before the tune.... All we did at the retune was pull back the ignition timing (in effect that should lower the knock substantialy) and leaned the Air Fuel Ratio to 12:1. The tempreture outside when we tuned the car was around 28-30 degrees and now that the air is cooler it becomes more dense... therefore the Air Fuel Ratio would lean out, Correct? I gather this must be the cause of why my car is knocking so much now.... Does a lean AFR make the car knock??

I have standard injectors in my car... they are pretty close to maxxing out... around 95% duty cycle.... It knocked when i was under hard acceleration in 3rd gear..

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL Well considering im the 1st person to post here on christmas day ill ask the BIG question! WHAT DID YOU GET FOR CHRISTMAS?? Ill start:- I got 3 T shirts, 2 shirts, a pair of jeans, a pair of Diesel shoes, some Hugo Boss and Dolce and Gabbana after shave, a SKYLINE GTR DVD (which I have seen but is nice to have my own copy), some business ties (being the office boy that i am) and also a new suit for work... I reckon i did pretty well out of today Mery Christmas and be safe!!

whats your thoughts on ICE performance vs Race Pace... I got my car tuned last time at ICE but i have been HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended to stay at Race Pace... Any thoughts??

Just came back from a run in the cold air to see how she would go... I will have to through her back on the dyno... she pulled 72 knock at 5500rpm which it never did before prior to the tune. Nigel said that i should keep an eye on it the first time out because we did tune it in rather warm tempretures so it was to be expected.

My car runs 1 bar boost which is 14.7 psi It has a Apexi power FC with hand controller. 2535 turbo isnt too laggy... goes like stink though.. If i drop it back into 3rd gear at 90kmh-100kmh there wouldnt be much on the road that could catch me.... Not that i speed though ;-)

He was very impressed

G'day all. I got my car retuned yesterday at ICE performance in Cheltenham, Melbourne, and after 7 runs on the dyno we took her up to 255.6rwkw which is slightly more than last time. The fuel map was clean up a little and reduced the ingnition timing by 1 degree just to counteract some detonation i was getting... With the current tune the car feels alot stronger, especialy off the bottom. Yesterday was quite warm in melbourne (35degrees) and i had the car tuned at 10:30am just so we could beat the heat. Nigel from Ice told me just to keep and eye on it for the first couple of runs on a cold night just incase the car reacts alot more than expected because of the tuning specs. Very happy with the result!!

I dont know how it can be illegal to advise people there is a speed camera ahead because radio stations broadcast a pretty accurate location of the speed cameras anyway. Would be good to sit on the side off the road with a Speed camera ahead sign, a chair and a slab of beer!

My brothers mates were walking past a speed camera car and came up with a BRILLIANT idea to sneek up and pinch the guys rear number plate... The took off back home and grab a 10mm socket and 1 guy went behind the car and unscrewed his plates whilst my brother and another mate went to the guys passenger window where he was sitting and had a chat to him for a few minutes about how it all works and how to calibrate the machine and blah blah blah... Troy snuck off with the number plate and my brother and his other mate said goodbye to the loser in the car and walked back home... Then the fun started, they put the speed camera cars number plate on Troys HSV clubsport and went past the camera car doing 100kmh in a 60kmh zone and a few different speeds... The guy would have been real pleased with a good days work having caught a clubsport doing multipule passes infront of his camera... he would have been rubbing his hands together with all the money he made untill he found out it was his number plates.... Hahaha Speed camera guys as the devil.... Just fark off

problem solved.... AAC valve was jamed. cleaned it out with a special cleaner... bolted it back on and away she goes very happy

these are 2 photos i just took but the quality isnt to good because i took it from my Nokia mobile phone. Interior is immaculate... Steering wheel isnt worn, hand brake cover isnt worn, gear shift boot is about 98% new and the side bolsters on the front seats are perfect. No stains on the carpets..... You could eat off this interior -
