hmmm.missus mazda 3. was using penrite everyday syn 5w40. engine has approx 130k. went to motul 8100xcess. feels alot quicker and more responsive. might be the oil.

yeah, builder recommended hpr70, doesnt exist in a full synth.so, need to start looking.

hairy muff. each to their own. my engine builder has recommended penrite. I just have to find the right grade. will be looking at going ten tenths. hope they dont change their range again.

also, penrite is an aussie company, so keep the kesh here.

just one of those personal preference things.havnt heard anything bad about royal purple. in the missus mazda 3, went from penrite 5-40 everyday full synthetic, to motul 8100x-cess 5-40, and could feel a decent difference by seat of the pants feel.
