  1. I bought mine because it was the best option at the time.In my eyes, still is. Didn't have a lot of the features it does now (one of the reasons I bought it, free software updates). Now has flat shift, launch control, anti lag and flex capabilities. And at only 1800 delivered. This was when the platinum pro plug in was only a couple of months old. I'm on my 3rd tune (different set ups and engines), and still loving it. Each to their own.
  2. what additional sensors?I hear of everybody saying you have to buy extra sensors for haltech. Apart from flex sensor and larger map sensor (due to the boost I want to run), I didn't need any other sensors other than factory. My first set up was just plug ecu in, and run vac line to on board map sensor.
  3. Talk to the tuner you want to use, and buy the one they recommend and want to work with. No point in getting an $11ty billion ecu if the tuner can't work with it.
  4. Saw you on the side of the m1 with the bonnet popped. Car already behind you. Glad to hear you got home ok. And thanks for the pics of my car!
  5. Good people. Good food. Good cars. Good weather. Thanks for the great day!
  6. Might not ba able to stay for lunch (pending bank account).
  7. Come spend easter with your friends?
  8. So, if every manufacturer has fudged their figures, is it possible to reach the targets being set? And if no one trusts those cheating, who will they purchase cars from?
  9. oh, we need to be in a gtr?Nah, s'all good.
  10. Update:After spinning bearings at my first track day, I required another rebuild. I decided to go from a single, back to a more factory looking setup. So, same setup, with trust 618zs turbos. 10cm housings. Hpi dumps. Twin 3" to 4" exhaust Came to 380rwkw.(or awkw, not sure which).
  11. Also, I bought my fuel pump off ebay.
  12. If not doing motor sports, keep the motor stock for now. Should take a quick punch on the street without problem. Keep the tyres. Do the fluids. Do the brakes. And start putting the rest aside for future problems/mods. If you want, do the y pipe, cat and cat back exhaust, should give a nicer sound and free it a little. Get the front top camber arms checked, the bushes are generally shot. They get a fair bit of stress, so wear a bit.
  13. depends on the turbos you're running
  14. Keep turbos under 15psi, and you shouldn't see any issues. A nismo or tomei direct replacement pump isn't too pricey considering g it's direct fit, plug and play. Check voltage to the fuel pump also, just had to put a direct feed wire and relay in mone due to pump seeing 10v. Also, what have you got planned for the rest? If you don't have the budget, don't try and cover suspension, brakes and tyres (we spell it with a y) in one hit. Focus on what needs to be done. One thing at a time. Before you know it, you'll have spent more than you purchased the car for.
  15. get project mu club racers.Mid 30s at sandown, in a 1700kg emo, and hard on the brakes at the end of the straight, no fade.
  16. Ah, gpt1 os the smallest of the got range. Cheers. Too small for me. Glws
  17. Specifically 33 brembos? Or something that will fit under 17s more easily? I have a set of wilwood superlights that take 33gtr rotors. 3 sets of pads. Braided lined and adapters to suit r chassis. (Currently on a 32gtr) Trade with some cash your way?
