  2. Have never driven old pac before. I'll be there.
  3. it's getting there.Thanks for asking.
  4. were hiding in our garages with our broken cars
  5. says the man captaining a 33....
  6. Can't race. No car yet. Or..... Who wants a reason to rebuild their engine?
  7. Shouldn't need to look ate if it's a well known brand. My cooler core sat behind the power steer cooler. Just unbolt it, install cooler, and bolt back up. Done.
  8. Should get it checked by your mechanic.
  9. Thanks for the response. Will try and organise soon.
  10. Save me a place please Terry.
  11. When do entries close?
  12. The emo is no more (sold). And honestly, I didn't think I'd be quick enough.
  13. emo is a good example.Has a lap tinier built into the factory sat nav (have to press the lap button yourself). How could they stop you using it?
  14. One last thing, if not doing coilovers, mine pushed the front end through the corners too much. Most owners swap the rear sway bar to a whiteline, I went a different direction. Being closer to the pivot point, really balanced the car well.
  15. I ran min down to 1/4 and never had an issue. But have heard the same.
  16. this. It's the reason I wanted the MR. That, and if you're not going to do any work to it, it already has the better suspension for track work.
  17. yep.Once you get used to the way the computer controls the clutches, it's not too bad. Really have to watch your Temps on the track though. And the computer doesn't want to change to 6th at 60km, but you can in manual mode. Super sport mode will hold the lowest gear possible, which is decent if you want to leave it in D for a track day.
  18. this is the main site I used.
  19. If you have any other questions that I may be able to help with, feel free to ask. Also, should have bought mine. Only driven to the tracks on Sundays
  20. I used the factory 26 head torque specs, as that's what it's going to have to hold. As for the bottom end, if you're not familiar with engine rebuilds, I'd recommend getting an engine reconditioned to assemble. Things to check are things like bearing crush, end float, ring gap, bore oval it, etc, etc.
  21. If it has never been done, I would do it. They snap without warning, and you don't know the history of the engine. Definitely do the timing belt tensioner and idler bearings at the same time. Water pump is debatable. Some say don't fix what isn't broken. Some say may as well whilst you're there. If it is showing any signs of leaking, change it. If not, it's entirely up to you.
  22. Any updates to the cryo treatment? Was considering this also, but no real world reviews.
  23. negative.I get my post count up in whoretown. When I first joined, I knew nothing of the cars. I searched. Read every thread. Ended up knowing a fair bit about these beautiful cars. The info is prettyuch all here, take the time to read through what has already been posted.
