I've often thought of this with the gearbox as well, pretty sure you can buy the stuff like heat shielding, but it helps cooling. An acl product if I'm not mistaken. It's very rarely a need, more of a want. And if you listen to me, you're about as far away from being a pro as possible.... Think it would be cool on an r/c chopper with a talented pilot, so you can get the angle and heights you want. Just on my wish list....

to my knowledge, the haltech has the same options that you have listed... launch control, anti-lag, flat shiffting. only comes with a 20psi on board map though, so extrat sensors will be required if going for big boost. ive got a haltech pp in my 32, and couldnt be happier. find out which has more support from tuners in your area, no good getting and ecu no one can tune. oh, when i start and run my car, you wouldnt be able to tell it isnt stock. if youre down near sydney anytime soon, and my engine is back in, pm me, and ill take you for a run... good luck with either way you go.

in regrads to ideas for locations, how about just off the top of a water fall? reackon it would look pretty good.... auto correct with a phone if im not mistaken?

I've seen similar done with Ford workshops and their intake/carbon/injector cleaner. They used to have a tin of spirits(forget what it was exactly, more or less carby cleaner). Pull off a vacuum line, pull up the recap, and stick it in the liquid. Never heard of anyone bending a rod from doing it. Maybe if you used the booster vac line? And I'm not sold on the water idea. Maybe some throttle body cleaner???

Look around, then decide.... The build that I wanted, I havnt really seen done. so, I'm building my own. I also didn't have the money to spend on a moded one when I first got my car 5 years ago. Definitly would have saved money buying a car that was already done. If you've got the money, I recommended buying as close as you can get to what you want. If you're chasing something that's a bit left field, build it yourself. Either way you decide, goodluck with the new car. And post pics when you get it

Try and get a workshop manual. It will have proper bleeding instructions. The r32 units can be bled, but by the sounds of it, I think the unit has seen better days. Good luck with it all.

Hey guys and girls. Just wanted to give some initial feedback to my bendix street, race, track pads. Put them on with some dba 4000 rotors, and they seem ok. Good initial bite when cold(after a bed in period). But so far seem very dusty. Could be the slotted rotors, but I now have a nice brownish/red layer of dust on my front wheel. Tears are running firehawk(i know I know) and don't seem anywhere near as dusty. I am getting squeal from either front or rear. Schamffered all pads, went away for a while. Might have to do it again. Ok, that's my little rant, will keep updating as I start to use them more after my engine rebuild.

Hello all. I used the search function, and still couldn't fund the answers to my question. If a topic exsists, please point me in Tue right direction. Now to my question... What are the boost limits in STANDARD rb26 inlet manifold gaskets? Looking at going to higher boost soon, but don't know if I should upgrade to steel gaskets. My engines apart at the moment, so would be Tue ideal time to do it, but don't really want to spend the money if not necessary. Looking at going to approximately 30psi. So, what have you run without dramas? Did everyone just change their gaskets? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Luke.
