  1. great to hear, any pics yet? any word on a round 2?
  2. thanks mate, good ole, point and shot... i took 5 in total, that was the first, the others dont have the trees in them, and looked a little bare. i see alot of amazing sunsets, but i carpool with a mate, and i take snaps, while he drives. going across a bypass, nowhere to stop, but would love a decent camera, and some time to set up, and play with settings.
  3. hi, got my parts today, great to deal with, excellent communication. would happily buy from again. thanks again mate. good luck with the sale of the rest of your parts.
  4. another unset on the way home, damn i wish i had a better camera than my phone, but it does at a pinch. ">

  8. ill jump in on this one, not too far from home. maybe even get that price in my upper tien bushes they couldnt find for me
  9. Hey mate, what dump adaptor are you going to use? And which intake so it doesn't foul the bonnet? I was looking at doing this I'm my 32gtr, but have decided a different route. I highly recommend reading through a lot of the topics in the 25/26/30 rebuild thread. ALOT of usable info, and things you may not have thought of. Also pretty sure I saw answers to most the questions you're asking. Good luck with your project. And try and post up a thread whilst doing it.
  10. jay, bottom shot of the highway at sunrise is awesome. keep up the good work mate.
  11. That's what everything on the net points to. But still couldn't find anything on their website. Did the newsletter suggest an Aussie rrp? My birthdays in October, so it must be a sign.
  12. Don't know yet, us$2000 with lens on sonys website. They don't even list it on the Australian web site. So probably grey. Sony aus doesn't list the a580 either, so I'm a little disappointed with the Australian range. Same story as always, we always miss out on the good stuff.
  13. Anyone heard of this, maybe even tried a pre-production model? Been looking at the eos600 or NIKON d5100, but saw this POP up. Doing more research, it looks pretty good on paper. Has a lot of features is like in a camera. Would rather pay the extra, but thought I'd get opinions first. So, thoughts?
  14. ok, back onto the topic, looking at canon eos600d, and nikon d5100 does anyone have first hand experience with both? anyone out near western sydney that can show me theirs, and go over some of the features? any help would be appreciated. hopefully someone can help me out with this question.
  15. there lies my problem, i bought a house with my then fiance in october. then got a new r1 in december. then married in april this year. and cant afford my stroker kit yet. its going to be a LONG while before i can afford this trip. and i was thinking around the 30-50k mark, depending on accomidation, fuel prices, car transport, airfairs, and other touristy stuff wanting to do over there. one day, maybe... one day.
  16. anyone have pics of actual seats they recieved? would love to see the quality and hear first hand impressions...
  17. The above are good ideas, but i don't know anyone overseas to leave the car with. And its not just about a moded gtr on the autobahn and ring, its about MY moded gtr... But i do appreciate the suggestions.
  18. As above, fuel has a fairly high spontaneous combustion point(with source of ignition), and the heat of the turbo just isn't hot enough on the inlet side. The fuel actually helps to cool the inlet down by using the heat in the air to vaporise, in a way similar to water injection.
  19. I would be going to.Germany only on this particular trip. Had a quick look at one of the websites mentioned previously, and it looks like, depending which part of Germany I go to, would be ok with an Australian license. It would only be a 3-4 week holiday, so I don't think I'm going to over stay. In regards to earlier mentioned triangle and vests, it is also compolsery to carry a first aid kit in the boot. If I start saving now, I might be able to afford it by the time the Australian tectonic plate meets up with the one Germany sits on, then I can drive there. Thanks everyone for your input and knowledge, keep it coming, the more the better.
  20. ^ Love the double post But certainly more info, sounding better than I thought. Might give the nrma a call, and chat with them.
  21. What are you using now?
  22. Similar set up to older superchargers on v8s But now you use a turbo as the compressor. The fuel also helps cool the turbo, and at those levels, shouldn't really need an intercooler.
  23. RAW.... get it?
  24. why? oh no i di-nt, oh yes i did...
  25. thanks mate. yeah, i like my phone because the cameras not THAT bad, after all, it is a phone with a camera, not a camera with a phone. my bdays coming up, looking at getting my first decent camera, an EOS600D, dropping hints to the missus like crazy i think shes caught on, now i play the waiting game....
